I have seen all of the therapists at some point. They all hold advanced degrees in the field and really know what they are doing. They are constantly evaluating your needs. There are two exercise specialist who guide you through the exercises your therapist recommends for an hour. I had a hip replacement and 7 months later a knee replacement . That's a lot of PT and I did really well . A particular shout out to therapist Danielle, who always had faith in me and guided me through the process.

I heard about this place from my in-home therapist following my total knee replacement surgery. The front office staff is friendly, accommodating, and remembers your name as soon as you walk in the door. The physical therapists: Allison, Rachel, & Stephanie are all very skilled, always running on time, and ask all the right questions. The specialists: Barrett & Addy are friendly and know their stuff. Every appointment starts with 30 minutes 1-on-1 with the PT where they ask relevant questions, take measurements, and give a hands-on massage of the trouble area. Then you move to a full hour with the specialist. They take you through all the exercises recommended by the therapist. The final 10 minutes is for ice. They use the MedBridge GO app that runs on your phone. They can download your individual exercises right to the app. The app then shows you a video of the exercise, in case you forgot, and reminds you how many times a day, sets, and reps for each one. You mark them complete as you finish them. If you only have an hour for PT, this might not be the place for you, but if time is not an issue, you will get the biggest bang for your buck here. You will not feel rushed, but you are busy the entire time. Highly recommend!

I returned for physical therapy after nearly three years and found that little has changed. The…read morephysical therapists and exercise specialists are still friendly and generally punctual, but they are mostly junior staff or appear to be in training. This time, however, the experience was worse--likely due to it being the end of the year, when coverage seemed limited. As a result, the therapists appeared distracted, juggling five or six patients at once, which was far from ideal.

I just finished up my 6 week session as I was recovering from a fracture in my back. I admit, I was…read morea little skeptical that my problem could be solved- I knew the fracture would heal, but I've had back issues for a number of years and I just felt resigned to the fact that my back would always be a problem and just another indignity that comes with being in my 50's. Well, six weeks later I feel so much better and stronger. My team (more on them in a bit) really worked hard to put together an exercise program that would strengthen my core, back, and legs and with each session, I saw and felt improvement. I downloaded a recommended app and my PT sent videos to it that would allow me to do some of my exercises at home and that makes it much easier to remember the techniques and rep counts. The best part of The Jackson Clinics is the people. Right up front in the Ashburn location is the very professional, very positive and extremely efficient Anem- a young lady with a very bright future. Nathan is the lead Therapist I would see at the beginning of every session and he is simply outstanding. One of the nicest people you could ever meet and you can tell he cares very much about how you are feeling and progressing. He is the one who dictates the program and comes up with the exercises and strength building activities you will be doing. He sees what works and what does not and reacts accordingly. Finally, each session Nathan would hand me off to Peyton, who showed me the activities I needed to do and monitored me as I did them. He checks on you often and is very encouraging along the way. I really felt like Peyton is in a perfect position by helping people, he is a great PT and an even better person. I actually felt a little sad saying goodbye to this great team today and I'll miss them. I hope to see them someday outside of the clinic! Thank you all very much, you are really an excellent team and I'm grateful that I chose your location for my therapy.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after three separate scheduling issues, I feel compelled to…read moreshare my experience. On one occasion, I arrived for a scheduled massage therapy appointment only to be told that I did not have an appointment that day. Most recently, I called to confirm my appointment and discovered that it had been canceled without my knowledge. Had I not called ahead, I would have wasted my time traveling to the office only to be turned away. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. This pattern of appointment cancellations and scheduling errors has now happened three times. I also want to note that when I need to cancel an appointment, I provide sufficient notice so the appointment can be offered to another patient and the time slot can be filled. For patients seeking massage therapy as part of their medical care and pain management, reliable scheduling is not a luxury--it is a necessity. Many of us plan our work schedules, childcare, transportation, and treatment plans around these appointments. Having appointments canceled without notification is frustrating and, in my opinion, unacceptable. The therapists are excellent, but prospective patients should carefully consider whether they are comfortable with the risk of last-minute scheduling issues and the possibility of arriving for an appointment that may not be honored as expected. I sincerely hope the practice addresses these administrative problems, as they have significantly affected my confidence in the office.

I wasn't going to post a public review, however, after sending what I believe to be a thoughtful,…read moreconstructive email to the office, I received no response, not even acknowledgment of my feedback. Given this, I want to make sure that anyone who is considering going to this clinic is aware and level sets expectations before any treatment begins. To this day, I am still suffering from the massive setback that the visit caused. If I could give negative stars, I would,, the pain I am in is excruciating and worse than it was before my injury. This is the email that I sent on May 22, 2025: Hello, I wanted to follow up on my recent visit to share feedback about my experience. When I came in, I communicated that I was dealing with a combination of SI joint pain, hamstring strain, sciatica, and piriformis discomfort. At the time of my appointment, I was about 70% recovered and progressing well in my healing journey. During the visit, I was asked to lie face down, and then without any discussion, my legs were forcefully swung outward from the hips, side to side multiple times. The motion felt abrupt and jarring, and unfortunately, when I woke up the next morning, I experienced a significant setback. The progress I had made was essentially undone--I could barely move and found myself back at square one in terms of mobility and pain. Additionally, there were two attempts to adjust my neck that were both unsuccessful and quite painful. When I shared this experience with both my spine and pain doctor and my physical therapist, they were very disappointed to hear what happened and strongly advised me not to return to chiropractic care, given the nature of my injuries. They emphasized that aggressive manipulation in my case could be harmful--and unfortunately, that seems to have been true. While I understand that chiropractic care involves physical manipulation, not enough care was taken to understand or work with the specifics of my condition before proceeding with such aggressive adjustments. I provided a very comprehensive background of my health history, including my current condition prior to the appointment. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially given how much effort I had put into my recovery up to that point. Rather than posting a public review, I believe it is more constructive to reach out directly and encourage a more mindful, individualized approach with future patients--particularly those dealing with complex sports-related injuries. Everyone's body is different, and what may be routine for one person can be harmful to another. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of growth and care, and overall safety for all patients. Wendy
