It was all I could think about. I yelped chiropractors near South Riding and called around. The first two did not even see new patients on Friday afternoons. Dr. Schleifer was the third office I called and had a 3pm opening on Friday (it was 12pm on Friday when I called). A new and nice office building with ample parking awaited me. He was at his desk when I arrived and was very pleasant. After about a 15 minute assessment he applied some muscle stimulation and heat therapy. That was followed by an adjustment along with instructions to ice my shoulder and neck that evening. The therapy worked more than I could have imagined. I was able to play in a softball game and have no ill effects of my neck injury the next day (saturday) and have only slight discomfort today (sunday). I'll go to a follow up session with him this week to make sure I've maintained my healing process.

If I needed this worthless visit, I could have made an appointment for the in-network place. Also, while waiting in the small room, I could hear patients in the next rooms since they didn't have private rooms. This assistant guy was so loud. I had to cover my ears. Couldn't stand it. The music they play is not relaxing. It's like clubbing music. I'm Never going to this horrible place again. I've already made an appointment somewhere else for a massage. Firstly I can't believe this wasn't on yelp. That aside lets get to my review. I've had several…read morefriends who have been patients of Dr. Poe for many years and have always spoke incredibly highly of him. I've been having neck issues and figured I was well over due to see a chiropractor. I have to say I was incredibly impressed with how thorough he was and they really take an entire body approach to their work. Dr. Poe took his time during my initial visits I went over my health history and he had some recommendations that included blood work and an X ray of the problem areas so he could better figure out the best course of things. No adjustments or anything of the sort he did some testing in the office and we spent time just chatting about ailment. Dr. Poe is someone who wants to get to the root of the cause to fix things versus just doing something to simply provide relief. His goal is long term which is something I haven't experienced with other chiropractors. Now something to note they don't participate in any insurance although they will submit paperwork to your insurance company so if you happen to have chiropractic coverage you might be able to get some reimbursement from your insurance. I have to say after that initial visit I was incredibly impressed. I'm not getting any younger so I really need to be more in tune with my health as a whole. So I'm looking forward to my follow up and see where things are.

I had spinal fusion surgery in my neck on two levels and never thought a chiropractor was even and option for me ... however, after a few sessions with Dr. Verma I knew this was the way to go. Since starting with her several years ago I have lost a substantial amount of weight, improved my immune system and bronchial/allergy issues.
