a flight of beers
Ti W.

Great vibe for a weekend afternoon sitting outside in the sun and trying different beers with a flight.

Assgold
Alex V.

I recommend the ASSGOLD beer. Just wonderful. For the record I'm 41 and sent this pic to three friends. We all hit a great laugh. Terrific brewery. Way better then the other one in town I won't mention. The other brewery hate baby's... they don't have high chairs cause kids and baby's aren't in their demographic. Can't make that up. They told me this with a straight face. True north is the greatest thing that's happened to Ipswich ....not counting me moving to town.

Sours flight

An awesome spot not too far from the north shore beaches! Loved this flight of sours and the place is spacious with outdoor seating options.

Another excellent visit. Great service and atmosphere. But most importantly- pumpkin beer!!! Delicious!!

We were in the area and saw the brewery on Yelp. Thought that we would stop in and try the beer. First off the space is outstanding. Big, bright (even on a rainy day) and impeccably clean. The beer was just as wonderful. Couldn't find one I didn't like. One of my favorites was the Vincianne, a Belgian Golden Ale. But as I said couldn't find one we didn't like. We liked them so much we got some 4packs to go. Will definitely stop in again when we are in the area.

Beautiful space full of natural light. They offer a flight of four 4 oz tasters in this amazing compass tray and even take the time to label them so you know what you're drinking. Friendly staff and the beer was delicious!

There last night beer was very good. Food truck sucked!! They should add free popcorn machine. We would have stayed longer had few more beers.

The vibe was better than it had been in a while. I was greeted with a welcoming presence and was taken care of quite quickly. I was stuck between choosing the Nate's vegan chili and the FIG sandwhich. Nate himself actually came out and reccomended both, but we decided on the fig sandwich. Boy, was this a delight! The brioche bun was perfect, the flavor combo was genius to be honest. He even came back around to check in on me and how it was. (Give this man a raise lol). He took a moment to express gratitude and speak of his investment in the place and making it grow. Did I hear batting cages are coming next door?? I'm sorry I didn't get some pictures, I honestly forgot in the midst of the hospitality. 5/5 experience, would come back for sure!

I like the idea, it's pretty to send the little glasses out in a wood tower, but in reality it resulted in a lot of spilled beer and a messy delivery. Beer if great enough to be coming back for.

You can tell the regulars get priority attention from the bartenders, but we eventually got taken care of too - just be prepared to be patient if it's busy and you're a new face. The food was good with very generous portions that definitely give you your money's worth. Drinks were well-made and hit the spot. We loved the setup for watching football - great views of the games from multiple angles around the bar. **Important heads-up: This is a CASH ONLY establishment.** Make sure you stop at an ATM before you arrive, or you'll be making a quick exit to find one. The vibe here is very much old-school local pub - if that's your scene, you'll love it. If you're looking for something more polished or trendy, this might not be your spot. We enjoyed the unpretentious atmosphere and will likely be back, but it's definitely worth knowing what you're walking into first. Bottom line: Come for honest pub fare, generous portions, cold drinks, and a genuine local experience. Just bring cash!

Fig & Pig Flatbread: I loved the rich sweetness of the figs--it tasted just like summer! Combined with the slightly bitter arugula, the sweet and sour balsamic vinegar, the savory and aromtic ham, and the fermented aroma of Gorgonzola, the flavors were rich and harmonious, like a cool breeze blowing through the still clear blue sea and bright sunshine of late New England summer--instantly pleasant. The flatbread had crispy edges and a soft base; if there were less cheddar, it wouldn't be so cloying towards the end, making it even better. Fish Tacos: Consistent with the ones I had in San Diego, the pico de gallo was a classic, rich Mexican flavor, very much to my liking, just noticeably milder. However, the Sriracha aioli was barely noticeable and lacked spiciness, which was a bit of a disappointment, as I had high hopes for it!

Well beyond "a little char". The brisket was cut strangely thin and was like eating salted beef. In fact everything was too salty. The broccoli wasn't trimmed so all the dirty stem ends were unappealing and I removed them myself. The mashed were way too salty as well. We split a ceaser to start and there was barely any dressing but once we got more it was better. The dressing was fantastic, not a good as the Hart House but still good. Drinks were good and had a good price We won't return.
