So glad I did! They have a grand selection​ of high-end and affordable wines for everyone. The guy behind the counter answered any questions I had and was nice enough to explain the differences between reds in order for me to choose. I had no idea there was such a thing as a wine-tasting party where the host sells you the wines at a discount. It's like Mary Kay - but cool. We started off with a lovely champagne cocktail then moved onto some whites then reds. I wish I had taken notes of which wines we tried, but I had just purchased a case the day before and didn't buy any the day of. Shenna taught us that not every wine goes with chocolate or cheese, which is what wine drinkers always assume is the case. We tried wines with sweets (fruits) and savories (pickles and olives) to discover how much those food items change the taste. Shenna also promoted the opportunity to host a party or become a wine-guide. Both are great opportunities if you need extra cash or just love to entertain. Huge props to her for doing such a great job!

I have learned so much about wine, made life long friends, grown personally and professionally, and have had the most fun along the way! I'd never wanted to be a part of a direct sales company. When I started I had a very busy corporate career (requiring 50%-75% travel at times) with teenagers still in the house. I had zero time, or interest in anything else. That is, until I found this wine business! I was so intrigued and pleasantly surprised that I found time to see what this was all about and have loved every moment. The flexibility and freedom to make my own schedule while having fun with my friends provide a level of fulfillment I didn't know I needed. I'm grateful to now do this full-time and to wake up daily excited about the work I get to do and the award-winning, sustainable, high quality, affordable wines I get to share with others.

But if I'm out to try booze, open game. The tasting room is a beautiful open space. Staff were otherwise polite, oh and was really cool to have one of the distillers pour you a drink and talk about each spirit. After finishing the tasting I came out the way I came in. I don't think that was the way I was supposed to go in. Made a purchase of two delightful sipping rums. Would definitely make the trip back to Ipswitch.
