Per the advice of a well-meaning Valvoline employee, I went ahead and purchased a new compressor from O'Reilly, not knowing this would box me into a corner finding a shop that would install a "customer supplied part." Thankfully, I found Auto Doctor, who said they'd install the compressor I purchased with loud disclaimer that there would be NO WARRANTY. I, being too sweaty to give a singular rip, enthusiastically scheduled an appointment. At Auto Doctor you can expect no fuss and no frills, just quality, efficient service. Was it expensive? Well, yeah. But everything in Franklin, TN, is going to be, and to be honest I would've hocked a kidney for my AC to be functional again during this dastardly heat wave. So with that in consideration, dropping a few (6) hundo was a small price to pay.

I also really like how they text you the inspection details about your vehicle and include photos within the profile. I have never had that done before, so that was a pleasant surprise. He did all the work and said the brakes were fine for now but would need them in bit. My son took the car to Fl. and came back and three days later the brakes were metal on metal. I took it to them and they replaced the brakes. I went to pick it up and was shocked when I got the bill because he had replaced the rotors also and the bill was much more expensive then I had anticipated. I paid the bill and left because the owner wasn't there. I took the bill back up there two days later voiced my dissappointment since I had asked him to inspect the brakes. Not only did he refund me for the rotors but also for the pads. Needless to say I was VERY happy because I like taking my car to someone I can trust and who will treat me fair. They have always done quality work and this proves that they care about their customers and want to keep them as regular customers.
