I brought my daughter's 2015 Ford Mustang to Quick Muffler for an oil leak. After spending $1,866 on a valve cover gasket repair, the car continued leaking. We returned, and they diagnosed a rear main seal failure and charged another $2,474. Just 11 days after picking up the car, the engine seized from oil starvation. The dipstick showed essentially no oil, and we had to add 3.5 quarts just to reach the halfway mark. The engine ultimately had to be replaced at a cost of nearly $11,000. Before approving the second repair, I specifically asked whether it made sense to keep investing in the car. Their technician assured me it was running well and should last another 80,000-100,000 miles. We attempted to resolve the matter through legal counsel for months without a response. These guys are the best. I am very appreciative of their honesty and integrity. I took my car in very last minute , because I was having some issues with my van and it was giving me warning codes. I was very concerned and fully expected to have some major repairs required. Joe was great to work with. They did an evaluation and assured me that the situation was not as dire as I expected. I researched my problem & was prepared to fork over at least $400.00. The service attendant stated he needed to check out the car.Gave him the keys sat in the waiting room. I have a RAM 2500 4x4 truck that had a bad rattling noise coming from under the truck. I had the Franklin RAM Dealership and the Clarksville RAM dealership check my truck to try an find the source of the rattling noise. Neither RAM dealership could find the issue. Quick Muffler looked at my truck and found the problem in five minutes. The rattling noise was caused from a cracked muffler bracket in front of the catalytic converter. Quick Muffler had it fixed and me back on the road in 30 minute. Great service, great work and quick. I would highly recommend Quick Muffler. read more

Sadly I took my car to Quick Muffler in Franklin, TN and had an unfavorable experience. 2 years in, my "new muffler" began to rust out. I got 2 2nd opinions who both confirmed the muffler they installed was not new even though the shop owner told me both the muffler and exhaust were replaced as new. I had an uneasy feeling dealing with the guy there and should have trusted my senses. At the time it cost almost $600 for what I was told were new parts. 2 years later I'm spending another chunk of money for another new muffler (not at Quick Muffler). BE WARNED. Theses folks are awesome. Great, reliable service and an incredible price. They won't rip you off. We had an issue with our honda pilot catalytic converter guard. The dealer wanted $150 to remove it and quick muffler did it for free! I also just got our brake pads replaced and it was about $220 less than the dealership. read more

I took our daughter's car there to get her catalytic converter replaced. She had taken it to Nissan where she was told it had to be replaced. They told her the new one would only have a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty. We found that Quick Muffler gave a 5 year warranty and the price was better. More important was the person we dealt with. He had a great personality assuring me her car would be taken care of properly. He was right. We will be back now for oil changes and any other work that may be needed on her car as well as our cars. read more

I was referred to Quick Muffler by Firestone, and I am so thankful! I thought I'd need an expensive catalytic converter so I could pass emissions testing. They got my car diagnosed quickly and found it to be an exhaust leak which was less than half of what I was expecting to pay for repairs today! The guys were all super nice, professional, respectful, and explained thoroughly what was going on with my car. Got me in and out in about 2 hours and no more check engine light! I called without an appointment and had my car looked at an hour later. I mentioned that I thought there was possibly an issue with my catalytic converters and they gave me a fair quote if that was the case. I was told by another shop that I would have to redo my catalytic converts and that it would be around $900. After dropping off my car I got a call saying that there was nothing wrong and there was no need for a repair. On top of saving me $900 they didn't even charge me a diagnostic fee! My daughter hit a re-tread tire on the interstate going 60mph. The tire shrapnel attacked the undercarriage of her car and snapped the exhaust pipe from the engine. We towed her car to Quick Auto as they seemed to be the closest exhaust specialist near us. Uncertain and slightly fearful of the extent of the damage, we literally received a call right when we walked back in the door saying the car was fixed and ready for pick up! Really nice guys who don't try to gouge you for unnecessary work. Got me in and out pretty quickly. If you want something specific though, make sure it's clear before they start. I assumed that they would match the existing diameter of my exhaust system - but they necked it down to make it easier for them to clear my rear axle. This place is absolute trash. So slow, so deceiving, not very courteous. I came in for quick oil change with a living social voucher. When I made the appointment the guy on the phone had me wait while I listened to him talking to another customer, strike one, then When I actually arrived, i waited without acknowledgment. I presented my voucher to the employee and he kept saying they only used groupon, not living social, when it was clearly living social. I bought it for a discounted rate of 17.00, strictly for an oil change and filter. I asked if adding wiper fluid was extra and he said he would give it to me for free. After waiting for over an hour in a non busy shop, I was given my keys and a paper that said the charge was 36.00?$ I was so confused and then later I checked my wiper fluid and there was none. So incredibly dissappointed, im beyond words. This was THE WORST oil change place I have encountered and I never usuallu rate oil change places that high anyway. I should have just gone to valvoline---there better in almost every way and way way quicker and you can see them actually work on your car. Quick Muffler is trash, its in a crappy location too. right in the middle of downtown franklin, tn. Stay away! read more

One of the hangers broke off my muffler, and I tried to bring it back to the shop that had originally installed them. Unfortunately, that shop went out of business. I found Tim's garage on Yelp and decided to have them give me their opinion. Well, they looked at it, and in about 9 minutes, I was back on the road with a new hanger, AND they didn't charge me a dime! Don't waste your time and money on those other muffler shops. When I came here I had about a 2 hour window to get in and out so I could get my emissions test done. They got me in and out with time to spare and the quality of the work was very good. Though we did have a minor communication issue the owner didn't hesitate to make things right when it was brought to his attention. Very disappointed with this shop. I asked for a 6 inch piece of exhaust pipe to be cut out and have some new pipe welded in. They said that would be fine and I waited for about 30 minutes while they finished another job. When they got my car on the lift they told me that they would not do the work with out replacing the Cat. The cat works perfectly fine and the car passes emissions. When I told him I didn't need a new cat they told me the simple patch job that I was requesting wouldn't make them enough money and that replacing the cat would make it worth their time. I've used these guys in the past for some simple work and they were happy to do it. I just don't understand why they would want to sell me an expensive cat that I do not need. Needless to say...I won't be back....simple job or extensive. read more
