Zip tied connector they broke

In august 2022 we brought our vehicle to the shop to fix an electrical issue. 1 - They misdiagnosed it saying the fuel pump was bad. Many dollars later they admitted they were wrong only after we broke down five miles down the road from picking up the vehicle. 2 - They cut open a wire loom and fixed the shorted wire which we still had to pay for (more later) Then the misfiring and cat converter issues started. 3 - When we brought it back to them, they diagnosed that one fuel injector needed to be replaced. Instead they replaced 2, changed out the brand new spark plugs I put in just a few days before, broke off the connectors to the ignition coils, zip tied those together rather than fix them, improperly seated the intake manifold with loose bolts, left the headlight attached with only one screw, and still the wire loom was left open, when I went in the employees were clearly smoking in the garage as the were cigarette butts everywhere and it smelled like stale cigarettes. They looks concerned about me picking the vehicle up in the first place. Drove a few miles down the road and the misfire started again accompanied by an incredibly loud backfiring or knocking sound. If you're desperate, I'd stop by here to let them know you took your vehicle somewhere else. That's all they can be trusted to handle. The guy at the front counter is nice though.

Thanks for the repair! The car runs great now!

This review is a little late but anyhow it here it goes. I…read moretook my Altima to get the wheel/hub assembly to be replaced. I supplied the new parts and agreed on the charge. I get a call the next day that my ABS sensor needed to be replaced. Fast forward less than 2 years later. Bearings AND axle had to be replaced. The mechanic just showed me where the "work" done by Edney's was shoddy. The ABS sensor was never replaced. The axle threads were striped and the hub bolts were so loose that they could be removed without a wrench. That's not only poor quality, that's a safety hazard.

We started hearing a new, suspicious, car noise near Nashville. Stopping, I found a cracking…read moresection of the "plastic" lining under the car close to one of the front wheels. We made it to Dickson, which is a frequent stopping point when on t h e road between KY and Miss. We went to Edney's at the recommendation from staff where we had lunch. They took the car an we sat around in the waiting room. In less than 15 minutes, the gentleman returned. (There were two men met; John and ?Robert? One was working the desk; the othered appeared to be either a manager or owner.) The owner/manager handed me the keys, stating they had trimmed the lining some and tied it off. He reassured us that we were safe to continue on our trip. I asked what should be done when we got home. He said that the car should be fine as is, but, if we wanted we could go to a dealer and have the lining replaced. He added, that he did not think it was necessary. Additionally, let it be noted that both men were very friendly, courteous, etc. Charge: ZERO!
