Note that this is not a Swedish massage; they are trying to help with knots and recovery and the massage may be slightly uncomfortable at times. I felt much better walking out than when I walked in, so the massage did it's job right.

Beware when paying in cash…read more. I'm extremely disappointed with our experience, especially because this was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my parents. An upgraded treatment was added to their service without their approval, which increased the price. When it came time to pay, my parents paid with a $200 bill, but they were not given their full change back. $60 was kept without their permission. When they asked about the missing change, they were told to excuse themselves. I personally confronted the owner/employee about the situation and asked for $30 back out of the $60 that was owed to my parents to be returned. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, she became angry with me and asked me to leave and continued to argue in her language . As if a 20% tip was not enough for her service. Regardless of the service itself, customers should be informed before being charged for an upgrade, and they should receive the correct change from their payment. This experience was very disappointing and took away from what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and handles situations like this more professionally in the future.

Belated shout-out to Christie and the staff here! Booked a non-toxic gel-like pedi back in July,…read moreand it lasted so long! Christie took care of me and my busted feet. My feet looked and felt brand new! I felt so relaxed and pampered! She didn't rush, she had such a healing energy. She was mindful and attentive during my treatment. It seemed like she had massage training, because that foot massage was on another level! She even provided a soft and cozy throw blanket which was perfect for that gray, rainy day! Will definitely book future appointments next year with friends! I didn't get a chance to make use of the entire spa! When you go, be sure to check out the gift shop. It's well curated. I love the SPF lip balm and the small CBD gummie packs for focus and sleep.

I'm not sure what to say here... other than Dana is amazing…read more I booked a 90 min deep tissue, and in my 100 massages, this had to be well above top 5. Dana does Ashiatsu massage, which means foot pressure if i remember correctly. She has a couple poles attached parallel to the table from the ceiling with another silk rope for balance. Very cool set up. So the initial 30 minutes (or so), she spent breaking up all of the driving and sitting at work knots i had with her feet. I initially thought she was in with her elbows, but it was softer. Either way... I'm not sure what really occurred in my body, but i was literally weeping at times over the next two days (and i don't weep). A friend asked me whats wrong at one point in the weekend, and I'm like... nothing. Guess i just released something. So amazing... no major pain, just broke it all up, and left me extremely peaceful. She shares space with the Bikram studio... very clean space. Can be a little hard to locate her, but she can guide you in. Thanks again Dana!

Amazing pampering with a health enhancement!!!!!…read more Zoe is loving, kind, and gentle touch was just what this poor broken body needed. I have a chronic pain condition that not all massage therapists know how to approach. Zoe was perfect. She has created a calming environment that is warm and inviting. There's no "awkward" moments of too much conversation or too much silence during the session. Zoe lets you know what she's doing and why. She's truly a wonderful massage therapist and I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone, but most especially chronic pain patients.

My spine is a mess and I have had 6 total spine repairs - 2 of which were procedures to fuse 5 levels in my low back, and one was to fuse 2 levels in my neck. I currently have 6 herniated discs (apart from the fused levels) and moderate to severe foraminal stenosis in my neck. I have a *lot* of neck and back pain. I have had weekly massage therapy for a good 10 years and have years (accumulated) of physical therapy. I have been seeing Zoe for about 2 months now and I say with experienced perspective that she is absolutely exceptional in her knowledge and skills to provide pain relief. I also see what is the best physical therapist I have been to in Sparks, twice a week. Zoe and my PT do many of the same processes, each validating the other. Zoe has extensive (and impressive) knowledge of how the body's structures work together for function and health, and she knows what to do to mitigate pain and discomfort that result from use, misuse, and injury. I cannot imagine a better, more knowledgeable, or more relief producing massage therapist. If you seek relief from what you gave done to yourself, or what your activities have done to your physical comfort, or what age and/or wear and tear or injuries have negatively impacted you, Zoe is the real deal.

The space is small and warm, up a flight up steps and at the back of the building, away from the street. About the massage - she obviously knows what she is doing and has the strength to really have an effect. I noticed this when she met me with a very firm handshake - always a good sign. As an athlete, I felt like she knew exactly where those sore spots are and went after them, as this is often what separates a good therapist from a great one. Not surprisingly, she also ski's (turns out we had both ridden Squaw that morning) so explaining the aches from riding powder for two days was not needed; it was understood from the beginning. Not a so so massage, a great one.
