Per the name. I went in for alignment for my car. I met with Jordan, who was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), the description I gave for WHY I wanted my relatively new car aligned, wasn't going to be resolved by alignment. In other words, Jordan took the time to explain my situation and let me know I didn't need to spend money. I really appreciate honesty and would recommend them as a result! read more

On July 23, 2025, I visited Tru-Tec for maintenance inquiries after completing a safety recall with the Toyota dealership. I came into Tru-Tec asking about maintenance and left Tru-Tec with a lawsuit. The maintenance Tru-Tec originally completed was a valve cover gasket replacement and front brake replacement. However, when I got my car back that evening, the check engine light was on for the very first time since I purchased the car back in November of 2023. While completing this work, Tru-Tec verbally told me that they had burned through a wire and would replace it for free. They refused to write this down for my records, constantly brushing off my and my husband's requests. After visiting the shop a total of 5 times, trying to charge me for the wires and installation they originally stated were free, and still having my check engine light on, Tru-Tec was unable to fix the damage they caused, eventually calling me "neurotic" and banning me from the shop. After months of carpooling with my husband, utilizing rental vehicles/tow trucks, visiting several locations that refused to touch the damaged wiring, and receiving quotes from the dealership that would have cost more than $5,000, I was finally able to have the car back in working condition once Premier Performance came into the picture. After hearing from several professionals, I learned that the wiring Tru-Tec originally installed was off-market, which could have caused even more damage to the car's internal systems. Since the car was repaired correctly and safely by Premier Performance back in September of 2025, I have had no issues with the car. I tried several times outside of court to receive the repair costs from Tru-Tec. However, the new owner, Jordan Becker, refused to take any responsibility. After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, I filed a small-claims case against Tru-Tec to recover my repair costs. I ultimately won a settlement through mediation. In my personal opinion, Jordan Becker is incapable of maintaining proper car and customer care. His dangerous incompetence led to my car being out of commission for months, as I had to use several different shops and resources to properly repair the car. Jordan repeatedly gave my husband and me conflicting information over and over again, which, in my opinion, demonstrated that he is not capable of running the family business. I highly recommend that you stay far away from this shop (unless you want to learn more about the legal system). read more

I have used Tru Tec for years for my Pontiac GTO and Mini Cooper Countryman. Kevin has always been helpful and explained what repairs were needed and provided an accurate estimate of the job. In my opinion this is an honest and competent shop and I highly recommend them. read more

We have been using Kevin and Derek for over 20 years. They are honest and accurate. I find as a woman that often shops dismiss me. This is not the case here and I've always appreciated that fact. Kevin has given us bad news and good news but always honest news. read more

Once again Kevin & Derek at Tru Tec saved me and are my heroes. My car overheated and I had it towed there by AAA. I needed it back the same day as I had an appointment booked in Pompano for early the next morning. They called me with their diagnosis and finished up the repair quickly as soon as I gave the OK. So I had my car back the same day...running cool as a cucumber. Be aware they moved to a new location (only a few doors down in the same building) at 1943 Mears Parkway. read more

I've been going to these guys for years, but they never cease to impress with their ability to put customers first. They're attentive, smart, good to average pricing, they're great with respecting your time. They call if they're not gonna be able to get it in the time quoted, unlike others that'd ignore your call until they're ready. Consideration!!!! That's the key!!! And they're good at what they do. read more

I got my radiator "fixed" here for $725 and got it back with more problems. They didn't bleed out my car correctly and in return my car was overheating. When I told them what the problem was they told me my head gasket was broken. I got my car inspected by someone else and they fixed the job and bled my car out correctly. I showed them the invoiced for their butchered job and they said they would pay me back. It's been 2 months and they haven't paid me back. Please stay away from this place. They will work on your car and create a new problem to get more money out of you. I went in to for a radiator replacement and after I got it back I had a new problem and they said it was my head gasket that was broken which is a $10000 repair on a Porsche. I would called to resolved this multiple times and in return I got called a faggot by the owner. read more

Just left here, after having been highly recommended by several coworkers im very happy they did point me in this direction. After having used the dealership time and again and paying more and more I decided to give them a try. 2 tires changed oil change and ac diagnosis and repair for less than 2 tires would have been at the dealership. I will be returning and recommending highly to anyone who needs work and is in that area. read more

Horrible service. Owner hung up on me after asking a few simple questions.. avoid this place at all cost.

Starting using them a few months ago by a recommendation. Honest and always puts the customer first. I never felt that I am oversold on any service and pricing is very fair. I will always go to them for all my automotive needs. read more

Kevin the owner or the manager, is rude and arrogant. He is not easy to talk to and he yells at me, a customer, and threatens that he will not release my vehicle if they don't do the job. He took advantage of my situation and traps me to go ahead and do the job, otherwise, he wants me to get a lawyer. He also won't take credit card payment from me and asked that he be paid cash by my friend in his area. Very manipulative individual. Kevin what goes around comes around. read more
