We used this company twice in the past year & will not hesitate to recommend them and use them…read moreagain. First occasion was for a post hole digger. It worked exactly as they said it would making quick work of 12 bare root fruit tree holes (28" in diameter) and 8 post 10" in diameter. It was easy. Next venture was to rent a tractor with three point hitch to plant seedlings. The rate was reasonable allowing us from Sat afternoon to Monday am & we got 1000 seedlings planted efficiently. Training for the tractor was included! The CSRs at the counter were very helpful and didn't Chuckle at our questions. Very patient guys for sure!

The guys who work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and the rental rates are reasonable. My only criticism would be their recommendation to wear rubber-coated fabric gloves while handling the Eel; apparently it's fairly common for the coil of the snake to catch fabric gloves, and the other half almost had two of his fingers broken when it happened. Wear leather gloves for this job! They also have a white cat named Snowball who presides over the place; he's at the awkward stage of growing out his summer buzz cut (he's long-haired and doesn't like to be brushed) but he's a handsome boy just the same.

Unfortunately, had a bad experience and it just seemed like bad communication between departments…read more The guys in the shop were really nice and helped me pick out what I needed when I was there. However, when it came to delivery my order was over 2 hours late and they only sent it out after I called for the third time without any notifications or updates that they would be late, the dispatcher let me know after I called that the original truck broke down. Then for pickup I called 3 times before I was sent to a dispatcher who finally got a pickup scheduled days later than my original pickup time. The first two times the person who answered the phone seems annoyed that I called and just said "we're busy" and did not give me a pick up number or anything. The dispatcher told me that she never notification that the pickup was ready. Additionally, when I asked ove the phone if the extra time would be charged or if it was on them, one of the shop employees said I would have to pay based on when it was picked up. I now know that wasn't true but it really stressed me out because I was completely left out stranded and had to stay home from work for 2 days to wait for them to do the pickup and had no idea when and if they would actually come. I spent $150 each way for delivery and I only live 10 minutes down the road. The whole point was I needed things to be timely. I would rate the shop experience 4/5 and the delivery experience 0/5. While I would absolutely rent from them again, I'm never doing delivery. The equipment was in good working order and the delivery driver was nice and helpful when he did get there.

I have started to take on bigger projects around my house and this past weekend it was time to tear out a cement patio and replace it. I wanted to figure out the quickest and easiest way to do and I needed a Jack hammer. After browsing all my tool rental options this not only seemed reliable, but by far more affordable. In comparison, the HD would require a $350 deposit for a $90 rental. I believe I spent a total of $133 on a Jack hammer, 2 chisel picks, and a wheel barrel. Best part was, I got a refund on a chisel pick without even asking. They asked me if I had used both, which I hadn't, and they just refunded me. I loved that!! The employees are all incredibly friendly and helpful here! Like I said, I was a bit uneasy at first, but once I started talking to someone, I was feeling much better. Overall great employees, good prices, and reliable tools!!

Checkout was badly impersonal, girl was more interested in relating news headlines to a friend than me. NEVER told me to bring back with full tank of gas (in all years with A Rentals I never brought back with full tank). Idiot who hooked it up started it and merely said good to go. Had I been a rookie I wouldn't have a clue how it worked. Collar was broken and he said don't worry, no problem. Took home split for a few hours. Took a break and decided to refuel. Couldn't, as a steel plate just above the gas tank couldn't be budged, no room to get even a hose in. Called, recording said closed for the day. Are you kidding, on a Saturday, closed at noon???? Got an idiot named Amber who hung up on me twice. Called third time, she said would have someone call. 2.5 hours later they did, explained it was a "convertible." Ah, got it. No one had shown me this when I rented it. So close to 2.5 hours down the drain. Took back this morning. Girl asked me if tank was full. I said no, it was never a requirement before. She said they would charge $10.00/gallon to fill it. Went to Shell across the road, filled it up. The people in the yard to unhook it were complete jerks. Wow, this place has gone BADLY downhill, will never go back. Will also type this up neatly and post on their door and hand out to people entering. This place sucks, have other sources, apparently they don't get that.

They've also been awesome at keeping my chains sharp, so they got my business for my leaf blower. I chose the BG86. The sale was quick and pleasant. Got her home, fueled her up. Fired up after the 4th pull and runs great. It's fun blasting the leaves away from the gravel. Gotta be careful though the gravel wants to fly a little bit too. And the kids love getting buried in the leaf piles. I recommend Wabash Portable Equipment for any of your outdoor power needs. They even have some cool dirt bikes for sale. Check em out. And if your chain saw chains are dull, take em in to get sharpened! It's very affordable and they do an amazing job!
