We used a Groupon deal to clean the entire second floor and two flights of stairs; even though I didn't mention it while scheduling and it came up as a last minute request, he also cleaned a large area rug for us without charging extra. It is obvious that Joe is the consummate professional and has amassed a great deal of experience working with carpets and overeager customers :) He had warned me several times that stepping from the wet carpet to wooden floors would be extremely slippery, but I still managed to slip as soon as I stepped off the carpet; luckily, he had the foresight to lend me a hand before I took the step, or I would probably be nursing a bruised tailbone right now! I would definitely recommend Joe and his company to anyone who wants a no-hassle carpet cleaning done with super efficiency and professionalism!

I had actually given him 4 stars because of the quality of the work, deducting one because of the hose length situation. I don't know on which planet a 4 star review is a bad one, but yeah. He was *really* upset, claiming that nothing I had said about the hose situation ever happened because the bulk of his business was actually apartment buildings and hotels, so *of course* he had had plenty of hose. He denied asking to go through a window - and among a couple of other strange claims, he actually tried to tell me that *I* had told him to stop cleaning my hallway halfway back! Seriously?? We went back and forth, and the upshot was I asked him to come back. I was disappointed that his first available appointment wasn't for a week or so, and then he said h

Highlights: - Easy scheduling system; they text you when they're on the way - Very friendly, reliable, and trustworthy. At this point I just leave the door open for Dan; I don't need to be home. - AMAZING job. I have three young kids and my family room carpet and couch are typically a disaster. I'm talking old poop, puke, pee stains on the couch. And Dan got it looking and smelling AMAZING. Seriously, it was like a brand new piece of furniture. He also got a very old puke stain out of the carpet upstairs, and it has not returned, as they sometimes do. At this point, I don't even freak out about stains because I know once I call CI, they'll be gone. He also left me a bottle of stain cleaner that was better than any Resolve or whatever else I've used. - One thing I appreciated: I called Dan to clean the carpet in my rental home, and it had cat urine in it. As you may have heard, cat urine is the worst and is very difficult/impossible to totally remove the smell. Dan cleaned it twice and the smell was still vaguely there. He was very straightforward and honest with me about the chances of it coming out (nil); he didn't just keep upselling me and making empty promises. Also, we were discussing this in the presence of the new tenant, and Dan was very discreet about it! Very much appreciated. I could go on and on, and I recommend CI to everyone. I was very impressed with Andrei and his assistant -- both the knowledge and skills they displayed as well as friendly demeanor. Some of my hardwood replacement had to be special ordered because I have three different widths and one width was no longer made to stock. Andrei searched until he found where to special order the size -- this saved the project -- as the original sizes had to be maintained in order to complete continuity. I admire my new and refinished flooring every day and never tire of looking down at it! On top of that, the cost was a fair price! Do not hesitate to hire Marino Flooring!
