I won't call anyone else for carpet and upholstery cleaning. I've used CI for several years on both my house and a rental property. Highlights: - Easy scheduling system; they text you when they're on the way - Very friendly, reliable, and trustworthy. At this point I just leave the door open for Dan; I don't need to be home. - AMAZING job. I have three young kids and my family room carpet and couch are typically a disaster. I'm talking old poop, puke, pee stains on the couch. And Dan got it looking and smelling AMAZING. Seriously, it was like a brand new piece of furniture. He also got a very old puke stain out of the carpet upstairs, and it has not returned, as they sometimes do. At this point, I don't even freak out about stains because I know once I call CI, they'll be gone. He also left me a bottle of stain cleaner that was better than any Resolve or whatever else I've used. - One thing I appreciated: I called Dan to clean the carpet in my rental home, and it had cat urine in it. As you may have heard, cat urine is the worst and is very difficult/impossible to totally remove the smell. Dan cleaned it twice and the smell was still vaguely there. He was very straightforward and honest with me about the chances of it coming out (nil); he didn't just keep upselling me and making empty promises. Also, we were discussing this in the presence of the new tenant, and Dan was very discreet about it! Very much appreciated. I could go on and on, and I recommend CI to everyone. The best and most important thing about Clean Interiors is that, in addition to great service and thorough, good work, they use green products that leave nothing behind except a clean carpet. After Dan left our house, there was no cleaning product odor and the carpets were really renewed. Dan also found some wax in the carpet, and quickly and efficiently removed it. The overall cost was as quoted, and we're totally happy with the results. I look forward to calling Clean Interiors again for periodic deep cleans. read more

Dan came out after his wife confirmed pricing and scheduled appointment. Their automated scheduling system is really nice and keeps you informed about their arrival time. Dan did a decent job of trying to clean a long overdue for a cleaning sofa. It looks a lot better. He also hit a few black spots on the carpet and provided a bottle of spot cleaner for future stains. I liked their doorway system that features a portable tarp that goes into the doorway to keep the cold air out while allowing the flexible water/vac hoses in to do the heavy cleaning. I will use them again for future carpet/furniture cleaning. I like to support our local small businesses. read more

I just moved to Pittsburgh, and I wanted my carpets cleaned before I got all my furniture. There were a few options on the internet, and Clean Interiors (though only 2) had the best reviews. I checked their website, and I love that the company was run by a local couple. I called and left a message, and my call was answered promptly. They were able to fit me in in two days, which was a relief. I described how many rooms and areas I needed cleaned and got a reasonable quote. The appointment was automatically entered into my Google calendar, which was convenient. Dan called to confirm the day of and came with one other helper. They came with the machine in the van, and the hose was hoisted to my 3rd story window. Clean Interiors finished the work promptly and also gave me some booties to wear as well! I'm actually writing a review for "Marble Makeover", which is a separate website for Clean Interiors. I contacted Jen to get a quotation for polishing 100+ year old terrazzo steps in an old schoolhouse/loft conversion, letting her that our condo policy is to get three quotes for each job. She warned me that there could be some issues with old terrazzo, particularly if there had been other finishes applied to it, but she said she hoped she could give us some useful information, regardless of what she found or what we decided. Jen was near my location, so she suggested stopping by at once--and was at my door in under 20 minutes. She was friendly, professional, and toting a huge bag of supplies, and she went right to work, assessing our stairs. She explained that cleaning wasn't going to make much difference in how they appeared, but also advised against doing repolishing, as she felt that what was really needed to make the steps look great, was a restoration--and that that would be both expensive, and difficult to get bids for (due to the fact that ALL we needed was 23 steps done, and the work would have to be done by hand). She pulled out a razor to test the finish, and pointed out some problem areas--including areas with uneven coloring, most likely due to old wax, and explained how that could affect the outcome. At the end of the day, this was not a job that she was able to bid on, but she offered several detailed suggestions for approaches we could take, including if we were able to find someone to quote us for polishing (she suggested we pay to get half a step done, or a full step, to see if the results would be worthwhile, before committing to an entire job that might not offer what we wanted)--as well a more economical commercial cleaning. (She warned us to stay away from acid cleaners, to avoid damaging the concrete any further!) In all--she came out here to offer us a no-charge quote--knowing in advance that this probably wasn't a job that her business would be able to take on--and still gave generously of her time and knowledge, so that our condo association would be better able to make an informed decision about what will make us happiest, in the end. If this is the kind of caring and passion that their company gives to someone who's not giving them any business--imagine what they can do when you're actually paying them! :) This is the kind of business you WANT in your home, protecting your investment, because they care more about doing the right thing, than making a buck at all costs. (And presumably, because they understand that good service pays off, in the end. ;)) This company has just gone in my Rolodex--and I look forward to having a reason to hire them in future. Great service, I am happy with the job they did. Dan showed up on time and in about 1.5 hours the carpet in all of my rooms was done. He was very thorough and cleaned all of the areas, including bedroom closets. He moved some of the furniture that was in the way. As recommended, I left the AC on and the next day the carpet was completely dry. I wanted my carpets cleaned because the house had that old-owner smell to it. After the cleaning, the carpet smelled fresh and the old odor was gone. read more

Just bought our first home and moved from Michigan to Pittsburgh. Had all rooms cleaned plus tile floor in both bathrooms. They did an excellent job, were polite and helpful when I asked tile care questions. If I need anything cleaned again this is who I'll use. Plus great price! read more

We had to find a carpet cleaner that specialized in natural, family friendly cleaning products with no harsh odors or chemicals due to my having a pet parrot. Clean Interiors was incredibly accommodating and did an excellent job. They were fast and professional and even explained why the products they were using were safe to use around my parrot and why they were using the specific shampoo for the carpet that I had. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially anyone with a family or sensitivity to chemicals. read more

Showed up on time! Professional and pleasant. They examined some difficult stains and felt that there may be fabric damage and would not come out. The two gentleman worked diligently and did a thorough job. A day later all is dry and let me tell you --- THE SOFA IS LIKE NEW. EVEN THE AREAS THAT STANLEY STEAMER COULD NOT GET CLEAN TWO YEARS AGO!!! AWESOME JOB GUYS!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Clean Interiors did a fabulous job polishing marble tile in our bathroom which had been damaged by water. They were on time. Their preparation was meticulous being careful not to damage any walls or floors. When they finished, the tile looked brand new! I highly recommend Clean Interiors. read more

I scheduled my appointment about three weeks I advance. I checked the morning I thought my appointment was and realized, I had the wrong day and time. I contacted Dan the morning I thought my scheduled appointment was asking if there was any way he would be able to come that day. As the original day I scheduled we had family coming to town. He contacted me immediately saying he would let me know in an hour. Lucky me one of his afternoon appointments cancelled and he was able to squeeze me in. His work is AMAZING! We have a Great Dane and we have never cleaned our stairs.. There were really bad pee spots on our landings and he was able to get most of the moisture and scent out. Our carpets look absolutely amazing! I can't believe he was able to clean them so well. Our dog had also destroyed a few ink pens in our white carpet. Thankfully he was able to get all of those stains up as well. I was very picky when trying to find someone good and I can't express enough high much I HIGHLY recommend them!! read more
