I found the establishment to be immaculate on the inside and that INCLUDES the restroom. Sometimes the restroom is the forgotten part of some businesses and its maintenance is a mere afterthought. Not so here. The attendant Betty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful--along with funny to boot. I explained to her that I was a first-time user and she guided me through the procedures to get my wash done along with what machine might serve me best. She was right. The state-of-the art Electrolux machines were more than adequate. They even have countdown LED timers on the front to tell you how much time remains to complete your wash. And just a brief word on the location. Some people might hear the words Addison Road S. and Capital Heights and have negative connotations. Well leave those preconceived notions at the door. I understand the business to be black-owned and you can tell from the outset that the owner has not shortchanged the African American community by any means and has provided a first rate, quality facility that would be the envy of ANY community. It even has Wi-Fi--although I haven't actually made use of it yet. Pleasant background music which to me means old school R&B. Ironically, at the same time, our response was, "Ok, it's 10:45". Then, I said, "Are you telling us we can't wash and we need to leave?". "You'll don't close to 12, which means we have a little over an hour to do what we need to do. Besides, it's other people still here drying their clothes and if you have to stay a few minutes pass 12 to insure everyone is finish, it is your job to do so. Then she began speaking Spanish to her colleague. If we didn't have our clothes inside already, we would've left back out. At 11:33, one of the washers stopped and my friend placed the white clothes in the dryer. Immediately following, the color clothes stopped. He looked up and the young lady walked by him stirring and he felt as if she was giving him an hint. So, he said "Check the laundromat down the street hours because the staff conduct is unprofessional and I just want to get out of here. I will never come back here". After checking, Yes laundromat hours, we left with wet clothes very upset and dissatisfied. I thought it was necessary to let the female staff know because of her behavior and making us feel uncomfortable. We are leaving with wet clothes and going down the street to another laundromat to dry our clothes. She showed no empathy. Her behavior is unacceptable. We should've never been made to feel we couldn't fulfill both washing and dryer while at this laundromat. Therefore, we will never go here again. The sad part about it, I suggested we go here, which was my friend first time. So, of course, I felt bad that he had to go through this.

I dread going to the laundromat because of my experiences that I have had in the past. I have to say that this spot gets a 10/10. They are constantly sweeping or mopping the floor as needed, the floors are super clean! They have plenty of vending machines with snacks and drinks. Plenty of folding stations for you that they constantly wipe down and they have a lot of washers and dryers so something is always available even when it's busy in there! I loved this laundromat and I'd come back if I need to because it was really nice and they have complimentary coffee and tea as well. This was the nicest laundromat I've been to in a long time.

Not enough operating large washers. There were four of the largest machines costing 27 quarters. I…read morewaited 20 minutes or so, because only two were operating. Which was due to the coins being full to capacity. During entering my quarters it stopped because it would take any more coins. The service guy fixed the issue and proceeded to add the rest of my coins until it was ready to start. I had one more to start with proceeded fine. After the first machine was finished the service guy immediately put an out of order signed up and covered the coin slot with tape. After the second washer was finished. I still had one more large load to finish, so instead of me being able to use the first washer I had to wait until the second washer stopped to load my last load. Immediately afterwards, a out of service sign, and a piece of tape over the coin slot was put up. After finishing my last wash all four of the largest machines were out of service. Something as simple as dumping coins held me up an extra hour or so. Left the laundromat at 9:36pm An improvement would be having a coin collection mid day to avoid this from happening ir earlier in the evening.

We have a washer and dryer but my son moved back in with a ton of dirty clothes. Clothes were quickly picked up, laundered, and returned Monday. They even offered one day service for slightly more.
