Long story short: This place is fantastic. All day breakfast, everything is freshly made and tastes…read moregreat, prices are very reasonable, and they have a variety of offerings for food, drinks and snacks. It's the perfect blend of a traditional Long Island Deli and a Bagel shop. Longer story: I recently moved further east from Huntington into the local area and have been disappointed with the quality of food options around here (or lack thereof), especially when it came to bagels. So much so that each weekend for our morning bagel routine I would try a new bagel spot on yelp. 10-15 bagel spots in and there was nothing that really drew me in. I was hopeful when I saw bagel boss was opening a location in yaphank, but I tried it twice and both times were terrible. It was expensive, rather lackluster food quality, and they got my orders wrong both times whether ordering in person or on the app. I finally came across this place on yelp, which markets mainly as a deli (doesn't even come up on Apple Maps when you search for bagels), but saw another review that highlighted their bagel options. So tried it out. We finally found our morning bagel spot! There's not a huge selection or variety of bagels unless you get there early, but they're all fresh and delicious and they have all the staples. Their deli sandwiches are also amazing, very generous portions for the price and again, everything is fresh and tastes great. Will definitely be coming back regularly to this spot. Don't let the looks outside deceive you, it's a great place!

I usually go to the location in Manorville, but I went to this one after coming home from the beach. First, let's get the good part out of the way. The food at this location is comparable to the one in Manorville, and it's really good. They have ample seating in a comfortable enough dining room. They also have decent customer service. What they don't have, at least based on my last visit, are great hygiene practices. I was going to get a slice of cherry cheesecake from the fridge until I saw the cherries were very moldy. I waited until there were no customers around and signaled to the woman working that the cheesecake was, in fact, moldy and I didn't know what else in that case might have gone bad. She took it and threw it away. My food came out about ten minutes later, and it took me about 15 minutes to eat. I was sat pretty close to that fridge and in 35 minutes, neither she nor any of the staff went to check the food. That's concerning to me because I brought it to their attention that there was visible mold on one of the cherry cheesecakes, and there were at least ten other cherry cheesecakes in that refrigerator, plus other desserts and other things that could get people sick. To her credit, when I told her I didn't feel safe eating the produce and would like her to refund my salad because I didn't want it, she did so without complaint, and the Sicilian slice was good as always. But I don't feel great about eating at a place where, again, it's not even the fact that there was mold. Stuff happens. It's that they let so much time go by once it was brought to their attention. That's a great way to get people sick.
