I had never heard of this place but t mobile Tuesdays had a deal so i tried it out. This place is very similar to a nautical bowls but they have way more options here. Maybe too many options cause it can get overwhelming. Staff was very friendly and helpful with deciding what to get. Decided on a smoothie for me and one for my date. I got a peanut butter protein smoothie and she got a fruity smoothie with energizer in it. I liked mine a lot but hers wasn't as good and I think its cause of the energizer. Just had a awful taste to it and wasn't blended very well so you'd get chunks of this bad tasting energy stuff. The space was nice and clean, very small but you could sit and have your items there. I've been coming here for years. Management has changed. Employees change. But the smoothies and wraps have always been good. I'm writing today because they recently added açaí bowls and I tried one yesterday. I've had açaí bowls from several places across the nation and recently had an underwhelming experience at another local venue, so I was reluctant. My hesitancy was unwarranted though---Tropical Smoothie came through with the Açaí bowl with the same great online ordering experience, same timely preparation, same accuracy and same tasty experience that I've come to expect with their smoothies and wraps. The cafe is still a bit sterile and the workers are definitely more focused on work and not necessarily overly friendly but the product is great. read more

Worst customer service. When ordering my smoothie, I said, "I would like to order a retired flavor, Hawaain Breeze, it has mango pineapples.. " girl interrupts, says she'll look it up. Get my smoothie, it is not right. I go back to get the right one. Manager says "I cannot refund you or give you another flavor since you ordered wrong flavor!" Customer service has always been horrible every time I've visited the store. You are not met with a friendly greeting just a sour face. If you ask a question they don't answer it but rather point you to the overwhelming menu boards. The owner wears open toed shoes with no socks which is so unsanitary. There aren't too many of these types of places around. I had no idea this little shop existed at the end of this strip mall. Find your way here and order a smoothie! First time it took me forever to make a decision. There are lots of options available, then you can add scoops of other ingredients you might like. Examples are chia seeds, protein powder, probiotic, flax and multi-vitamin. I just went with the pineapple one with white chocolate and coconut. It was delicious. They also have 1 or 2 smoothies that are offered for a limited time. I noticed they serve food as well. I felt like the chicken looked pretty processed and fake up close. First off, I will say that this place is a hit with the teens. Seems this is the place to go for smoothies. Actually, their smoothies are very good and come in a good size (could be a meal for sure). Because of that, I gave the two stars. Service however would be only one. I will admit, we walked in at 12:00pm -place was packed and we stood in line for almost 10 minutes. Placed my order at 12:09 (per the receipt) and we got our order (1 flatbread and 1 smoothie) almost 20 min later. I watched this play out. Two young ladies in the back were cranking out food - they would prepare, wrap and then bag the order and set it on the counter. There was one lady on the register and then another lady and a man doing smoothies. Again, the place was slammed but I watched the lady just keep entering in orders - at one time the number of tickets taped to the counter was 11. She just kept going while the bagged food just kept piling up. The guy making smoothies would try and then figure out which bag went with which smoothie - this played out for the 20 min I was there. Where I lost it was watching the bags of food stack up and it was only after the woman took all the orders did she then stop to start pairing up the food orders with the (now) four smoothies on the counter. And go figure, my food was in one of those bags (having sat for 5 min) to then get my smoothie. Not sure which was colder at that point. TS, when you get that slammed you might want to rethink your process....having that many people stand around waiting is nuts. And NOBODY likes to watch a guest who orders after them get their food and drink first. Your team cooking was on point, your smoothie making is the bottleneck and your service model needs (during peak times) to be retuned. read more

This is my favorite smoothie place! Staff here are always super friendly! I normally order through the app, so i don't have to wait in line. My favorite is the peach silk! :) They have food items here as well, but I've never given it a shot. Their seasonal drinks are usually good as well! I was really looking forward to grabbing a smoothie on my way home and specifically made sure I'd have more than enough time to grab a smoothie before they closed. I don't generally go to places right before they close, so I planned to be there well before 9 (which is when they close according to google, Apple Maps, and their own times posted on the door). I went to go to this place with my friend who was showing me this for the first time. I've been working on my weight so I got fat burner in mine and so did my friend. When we went to get our smoothies the staff made fun of my drink and said "he's the smoothie with that s$&t in it" laughing passing my drink to her friend and then me I couldn't believe what I heard. There's never a manager there and trying to get ahold of one is hard. When we got our drinks (which we ordered the same thing) they both didn't taste good at all and they were both different colors. I finally got ahold of someone to talk to and I don't think he even believed me that it happened. But he bought my next meal which was nice of him. There food was actually surprisingly good. Love their chicken caprese sandwich. Such a great alternative to the other sandwich places in the area, like Subway or Jimmy Johns. Not as impressed with the smoothies, however, which is what should be the showstopper as it's part of the name of the cafe... Jamba Juice is soooo much better. My first time in I ordered the Bahama Mama, which was no bueno, too sour and didn't taste fresh. This time I ordered Strawberry Limeade and it was 100 percent better. I absolutely love the smoothies and wraps at this place. Every one I've tried is delicious. I particularly love the "Avacolada" smoothie, and the Baja chicken wrap thing. The food is all healthy too, which is a huge bonus. I'd have given them 5 stars, but I decided to go for a 4 star rating since they've messed up our online orders like four times now. Ordering at the store has always been issue-free though, so maybe just don't do online order pickups. Definitely recommend this place! read more

First time we came in here, I didn't really think much of the smoothie I ordered or the ones my children ordered either. They liked it, but I never put much credence on my kids taste buds. I could get off track with that last bit but wont. So the next time I was strongarmed into coming in here, I was pleasantly surprised that the smoothie I ordered was quite tasty. My sons? Tasted about the same, maybe a little better. 'Ah! The manager must be working today', I thought. 'Why elsewould this taste better?' Now I've been in here about four times and the smoothies are really quite good. They aren't as "fresh fruit tasting" as I'd like. I should actually watch them make the smoothies to maybe prove me right or wrong. But once again, they are good. Perhaps my tastebuds or the shops productivity was off that first day. They were very fast with making my order, the issue is that they seemed to have rushed too much. My drink tasted watered down and tasteless.

Warning: this place is super addicting! I recommend ordering a combo meal. My lunch always has: the jerk chicken wrap, a banana, and a kale- green smoothie. I like how every meal is made to order. Great smoothies and salad! I like the Paradise Point smoothie the best, it's not tart. The Totally Green one is also good, the taste is actually light even with kale and spinach. Warning though, don't get the large size cause you'll never finish it. For salads, the Cesar is typical - good chicken though. Just went with my kids and got 3 kids strawberry banana smoothies and a peanut paradise. When we got them my daughter immediately said it taste like water. Trying theirs and then mine, discovered they did have no flavor or consistency. Informed the employees of this, brought the old drinks in and asked for new ones. All the teenage workers there looked pissy, rolled their eyes and reluctantly remade them. One of my favorite memories was coming here with my mom before she passed. The smoothies here are delicious and bring back happy memories from happier times. I used to get the bahama mama smoothie with a totally turkey wrap, but they don't have totally turkey wraps anymore (which were the best in my opinion) and the nostalgic feeling that I got when I went there is gone. The Savage Tropical Smoothie Cafe clearly does not feel that customer satisfaction is important. When I got home with our order they made the wrong wrap. The label on the wrap said super green wrap but the wrap we were given was not the Caesar chicken wrap. I called to let them know and they asked I provide the receipt. It blew away and I forgot I had the receipt in my email. My husband returned the wrap and showed them the label. my husband told them that my wife called and asked that you fix our order and the wrap info was provided on the phone. My husband said it's a chicken wrap. The guy told my husband to call me to clarify the wrap, but he didnt have his phone. My husband said my wife called, the order was supposed to have started so when we got there it would be ready. They sent my husband home with a chicken quesadilla. I went back to the cafe and showed them my receipt and they would not fix our order. They refused to give me the Super green chicken Caesar wrap. I am furious! This is a great place for breakfast sandwiches, and lunch. The paradise point and sunrise sunset is my favorite.
