This place doesn't sell real tea or real smoothies. It's powdered nonsense made with herbalife…read moreproducts. There is no actually tea brewed here. There is no fruit here. And what they do make tastes of artificial sweetener of some kind. The "tea" we got cost $8! I didn't see prices anywhere. We were told to pick a tea, but that their tea tastes like juice. But I don't want my tea to taste like juice. I want it to taste like tea. Then she said to pick a shake from a list on the wall, and to base the choice on my favorite desert because "they're all the same". We did not get a shake. But the worst part is the hard sell to get you to buy some "half off" deal of a tea and a shake. "This is how it works here," we were told. And they try to insist on a phone number just to buy a drink. The seller got angry when I refused to give a phone number, and grumbled that she wouldn't "get credit" for the sale. Apparently the drink sale wasn't enough. They must be dependent on phone leads for their Herbalife multi-level marketing pursuit. No thanks. Tea is made with leaves and hot water. And a shake is made from milk and ice cream. This place doesn't have those items.

When it was our turn, the woman working had us fill out info cards (?) since we'd never been there. Since it was our first time, she tried to talk us into a two-drink special, but it was like two drinks with different benefits, so we were each supposed to get both? On my way to work, I already have too much two juggle - two drinks seems like an enormous hassle. Which is to say, no. Once we ordered two smoothies from the menu, it was only a few more minutes til we were on our way. Someone had called before we made it to the counter initially, so we waited while their drinks were made too. All-in-all, nearly 20 minutes to get smoothies that tasted kind of powdery wasn't really what we were after. Probably won't be back to the store, but I know they set up at events and stuff, so I can't say I'll never have the smoothie again.

The dumplings were tasty and perfect in the two dipping sauces that accompanied these tasty morsels. I ordered the Dan-Dan noodles while my wife ordered one of the crispy chicken dishes (garlic). My noodle dish was filled with handmade noodles, braised pork and fresh aromatic vegetables. I could have licked the bowl it was that good. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her chicken entree as well. We ordered a pot of oolong tea that became more tasty as we let it steep at our table. This is the most authentic Asian food I've ever had hands down. Needless to say, we will be back to sample the other items on the menu.
