***Edited*** I was messaged by the GM, Dustin, because he wanted to make things right. He was really kind and let us know that we would be placed in a recovery log. This was new to me, but we went in today and the crew seemed a little confused as well. Though it all worked out and the smoothies were great today! Thank you again Dustin! *prior review* The worst experience I've had at a Tropical Smoothie. First when going through the drive through I was told that they couldn't take two separate orders. That was odd, but we went inside to order. We both got a Thai Chicken Wrap to go.. after we left it became apparent rather quickly that neither wrap had sauce. The strongest taste in it was cilantro(wasn't too strong) it was just a plain chicken wrap with minimal chicken at the bottom. The wrap wasn't wrapped tightly like we're used to and it fell apart easily. My smoothie(as pictured island green - sub blueberries instead of banana).. I don't know how to explain it. Half way through the drink it was chunky and dry. Like it wasn't mixed correctly. This is my go to smoothie with Tropical Smoothie and it's the first time this has happened. I'm not sure if it's new staff. Because they weren't low on staff when we entered and there were at least 5 people present and no line. read more

I would give 5 stars because my citrusy chicken wrap was amazing. I smashed it down my throat. The peanut paradise smoothie is very yummy as well... except the plastic I just sucked up through my straw.. I like their hummus veggie wrap and the Bahama mama smoothie. It comes with chips and a kale salad which I always get. The hummus veggie wrap is delicious and it calms my fam down on any day. We're not the easiest fam on there but it's been good. I like the place, the cafe is one of my favorite one I've ever visited. I was skeptical of this place, as I am about almost anything healthy. What can I say, I'm a burger kinda girl. But a coworker tried a catering from them at a Norman Chamber meeting and said it was good, so we tried it. And now we can't stop eating here. Yes eating. I haven't even had a smoothie, but the Jamaican Jerk Chicken wrap is easily one of my top 7 fav lunches. It's fairly large, not Chipotle large but big enough to fill me up on its own, let alone chips. Which they offer. It's spicy and cheesy and warm and delicious. And I don't even like wraps! They have a couple cookie options and tons of smoothies. The smoothies are the same size and the same prize unless you add a random extra. I think they're 20 or 24oz, easily a meal replacement. My coworker loves the Bahama Mama and one day I'll try a PB Banana one. The drive through is awesome. There's really nothing wrong with this place! Hope they put some locations in OKC! read more

On a recommendation from a friend I went here last week, with that being said... I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day too. I really like the Mango Magic smoothie with no sugar added.. mangos, pineapples, yogurt. Such a sweet treat! Plus the 2nd time I went they had samples of Island Green which I want next time I venture there (it includes spinach, kale, banana, pineapples, etc)... Horrible customer service. Told the lady what I wanted 3x and she repeated back to me wrong every time. While at the drive thru, I could hear her talking to someone in the background. Maybe they need some more training... Also, if coming to this location, add 20 minutes or more just for wait time. They are incredibly slow at getting orders out. read more

My only complaint is that the (very sweet!!) girl who took my order didn't repeat it back to me and i somehow ended up with a chicken bacon flatbread instead of a peanut butter banana crunch. I am really unsure how this happened but I am too much of a fraidy cat to speak up about it. This location is a little slow but they work hard. I love Tropical Smoothie. It's definitely not cheap, but he smoothies are huge and the food comes in large portions as well, so it's nothing to be outraged about. I have never truly disliked anything here. The chicken pesto flatbread is incredible, I could never grow tired of it. As for smoothies, the mocha madness is like dessert. The mango magic and bahama mama are also very good. The cranberry truffle that comes around during the fall is similar to the bahama mama but hi early has the aftertaste of nail polish remover so unless you're into that I would skip it. read more

On Saturday 3/27/21@ 3:12. I ordered a drink to pick up. when I get there they had closed the lobby. I called to ask if someone could bring it out or if I had to wait in a line that was wrapped around the building. I was told to wait in line. I then asked that my money be refunded. I was told that she could not refund my money only the GM could and she would not be in until Monday then hung up on me. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE not at all. If they can not delivery the goods when they say the least they could do is refund my money, so I could go somewhere else. The manager on duty was very rude. read more

Love the healthy selection and right when you are about to make a bad decision at another restaurant there sign is right there at the rescue to save you from yourself. They have fruit for sides and protein added smoothies among others. The only reason I deducted a star is because the drive-thru area doesn't accommodate many cars and people often just cut in front of you because there is a thru street and you can't block traffic. read more

Each time I go to this location, the employees here are very polite and kind. I went to the location in Moore today and the smoothie they made me was very sour and not made well. I called the 12th & Alameda location and asked them if I could get a remake there because I was halfway to Norman and didn't have time to turn around, and the girl was very polite and had no problem replacing the one I got from the Moore location. When I got there, they already had it made up and ready to go for me. I am so thankful and will continue to go to this location in the future! read more

Tropical Smoothie has really upped it's game recently. I've been to this location many times and I've had positive experiences on each visit. First of all, if you can remember previous Tropical Smoothie's, the stores are much nicer now and the menu is way more spot on (not as tropical only as before). They have many unusual and tasty smoothies (I recently tried a Cactus Pineapple smoothie that was very tasty) and the half flatbread/sandwich with a smoothie and your choice of a small kale apple salad or chips isn't bad at all considering your getting a nutritious and much more healthy fast food option. The app is really worth your trouble, they'll add $5 for every $45 or $55 spent when you use it to pay. This location is always clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to customize your smoothie. Tip, I usually order the Chia Banana Boost smoothie (with peanut butter) and, as is the case with many other smoothies, you can tell the server to hold back on the turbinado, it's sweet enough and better for you. read more

Stopped here on a Sunday morning, to which I waited at the drive thru window waiting to pay or even be greeted letting me know it would take awhile. I waited for 20 minutes for the girl to finally open the window and she told me a different total then what she had say through the speaker box. Very rude and not customer service oriented. read more
