The place itself is very beautiful and I love the outdoor seating area. Staff was also very friendly and helpful when I was ordering. The food is what I struggled with because I felt the blueberries were a bit on the bitter side and the coconut base I chose was bland but the granola and almond butter with honey was super delicious. This is new for me. I have never left a bad review. I love the bowls at surf bar, but I keep seeing this and I just can't ignore it anymore. First the speaker box alone is so nasty looking that it makes you just wanna leave and drive on. Then when you get to the window, it's got so many fingerprints and stuff on it but it's very unappealing. But the worst was the kid who has taken my order and is taking my money and is going to serve me my food. He has on a giant sweatshirt that he probably slept in. It's probably the shirt he wears to work every day. It is so dirty and nasty that I started to refuse my food. If his was that bad. I can only imagine the person in the back that I can't see preparing my food. His shirt is covered in food and splattered on the cuffs. It's all wet hanging down over His hands. his cuffs Are wet, probably with dishwashing. They are brown and filthy on the edges, hanging down over his hands and I actually see them touching my bowl of food when he's sacking it. If I go back there and I see something similar, it will be my last time. I am familiar with the restaurant business. I was a chef and a Manager You wear an apron you don't let your personal clothing come in contact with the food and the counters and everything and when your apron's dirty, you get another one this was just Gross. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Came here today at 7am (wed Oct. 8th) and ordered the Classic and a Maui Wowi. Both were watery and inedible and had virtually no fruit taste. I was shocked when I took a drink. Neither had the consistency of a smoothie and although the girl who helped me was nice, she has no clue how to make a smoothie. There should be a standard as this is the second time I've had issues with this location and I just think if you are going to pay 12 dollars for 2 smoothies they should be good but these are going in the trash. read more

The service there is great! Their manager is so sweet and helpful and is always amazing! Their is also another sweet kid there with glasses, who is always so friendly to talk. I've driven past a few times recently and had been meaning to stop by. My partner and I really wanted something sweet after dinner but we really didn't want ice cream. We were in the area and decided to give this a try. I got the Big Kahuna Smoothie and he got the Peach Power. The first sip was okay. It wasn't as sweet as we had hoped. As we mixed the chia seeds, honey and coconut on top in the flavor vastly improved. So lesson to self: stir your smoothie up before drinking. First timer here! The staff was so friendly and patient as we looked at the variety of options! I got the Tango Mango in a 16 oz size and was satisfied with it but will probably get a bigger size next time. I loved the whole theme of the restaurant and enough room to come with friends. Food is great, but the customer service is awful. I've ordered online twice. The first time I showed up a couple minutes early (expected to wait), and they were absolutely rude about how I wasn't supposed to be there yet. The second time, I showed up 13 minutes late because I didn't want to rush anyone, and almost unknowingly left without half of the order because they "accidentally threw it out". Then had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to make toast. Again, the food is good, but it's not worth it. read more

The concept of healthy bowls and smoothies is a good one. Most recently I ordered a large bowl called the Pitella. It was $11.99. The bowl consisted of 90% sorbet and 10% toppings of sliced strawberry, blueberry and nutella drizzled across the top. A type on non-descript granola was on the bottom of the bowl. This item is wildly overpriced. $6.99 would be more suitable. I can't justify ordering this. read more

Both of my smoothie bowls were wrong even after they repeated the order back to me at the window. No nutella, and missing several fruits on each, not even made with the Blue Coconut mix we ordered. Overall gave me two completely different smoothie bowls than what I ordered. :( read more
