So delicious and fresh! Looked super busy in drive thru so I was skeptical about getting my food quickly. They must have some magic beans y'all bc the store was clean, all was calm and I got my food fast and fresh. I will totally 900% order the flat bread again and I most definitely recommend ordering chia banana boost WITH strawberries and not peanut butter. Store was clean. Staff wore face masks Everything was organized and sanitary. read more

Honestly this is the worst location by far ! Extremely slow no matter if you go inside or drive up window.. Customer service is terrible A lot of young adults work here but the adults are just as bad.. read more

The acacia bowl was terrible. The acacia was freezer burnt! The smoothie wasn't very good either.

Edit* they did give me a replacement smoothie I hate leaving bad reviews as I know it can affect a lot about a business but I just can't help but give this a one star review. I waited in line for over 30 minutes for a smoothie that I still have to chew. It's not even blended enough that I can get it out of the straw. Seriously disappointed in this experience and leaving not wanting to ever return to this location. I worked at tropical smoothie when I was in high school and I know what goes into providing a good customer experience here. Even my very low expectations could not be met. Very disappointing. Will only go to Norman locations from now on read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Chunks of fruit and spinach - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Midwest City, Oklahoma

First time coming here and the food was great. Service was good and waited very little for my order.

This place is fun and the smoothies are definitely the star of the show but I love stepping out of my comfort zone and trying the healthy food options they offer such as flat breads, wraps and sandwiches, ect. The smoothies come in one size (huge!) and lasts me for many hours. I really enjoy this new hip and healthy option in Midwest City, OK! read more

I am a long standing tropical smoothie customer but this is the most annoying location I have ever encountered and it is always so freakin' sloooowwww!!! 15mins just in the drive thru to place the order and another 15/20 to get A SMOOTHIE! I have tried to give this location a chance even when my smoothie was watery and not even cold once, but I have given this location one chance too many and I'm done! There's just absolutely no reason! read more

Why are they always so sloooooow. The drivethru is backed up and the last 3 Times I've gone they never even answer the drive through speaker . When I called him their phone the girl was rather rude and waited me to know only two people work there. The smoothies are good but for the price I should be able to spend less than 30 minutes waiting. read more

Went in to order and no one ever acknowledged I was there. There was also no one in the drive thru, and we saw three employees inside, they saw us but never greeted us or let us know they'd be with us after waiting almost 10 minutes. We ended up leaving and going to another location. read more

I honestly will have to say, that this Location is NOT GOOD! you should not have to wait almost an Hour in a half almost two just to place an order, and at that your drive through line is backed up cause u have Employees that is not getting there work done! It's sad that u have to walk in and still wait to order. Idk if there under staff but it's like this every time I come, y'all need to either hire more or help out as a managers. But on a good Note the smoothies are Great ‍ read more

While I absolutely love the food here, this location just can't seem to get their staff organized. In short, every single time I go, the drive thru has a MASSIVE line. If you don't have at least 20-30 minutes of spare time to wait in line, then this Tropical Smoothie location is not for you. After waiting in line for an upwards of 20 minutes, once you get to the window, the staff always acts confused as to what is going on. I had one person take my payment and then disappear promptly. After waiting for another 5 minutes or so, a different person came to the window asking what I ordered. I told them, and they stood there and looked at the computer for several minutes as if looking for something. I realized at that moment they were looking for my order for me to pay. I reminded them that I already paid, and then they gave me my food. I had to remind them again that I ordered chips and was missing them in my bag. Another problem with this location is the burning of sandwiches. More than once I have gotten home, ready to dig in to my sandwich, only to find it burnt to a crisp. Talk about frustrating! However, when they get the order right, and they don't burn it, the food here really is tasty. I love the smoothies, specifically the Sunrise Sunset smoothie. I just wish they could get a little more organized. read more

Great tasting food and smoothies however unless you have an hour of time to waste don't plan on getting in and out of this place. I Ordered food online due to 30 minute wait in the parking lot. Food was supposed to be ready @5pm yet here I sit almost 20 minutes later. Still waiting there's a line wrapped around the place there are dozens of customers waiting for food even more wiring to be helped yet every time I come here the service is slow as molasses. Heck there is no one even on the smoothie line. I just asked about my order and was treated rudely and told well we're busy we'll get to it when we get a chance. It's 5:40 PM and I'm still waiting this is ridiculous get your act together tropical smoothie this is pathetic. read more

I have an hour lunch break and was late back to work. I waited 45 minutes. 20 of those minutes being after I paid. There were only 3 cars ahead of me. At the window 20 minutes after paying, she gave me a total that was different from mine (assuming it was the total of the car behind me) and after saying I had already paid they asked what I ordered. Giving 2 stars because the smoothie was good but not worth 45 minutes.. read more

I come in at least once a week, the smoothies are spectacular and club sandwiches are to die for. but the staff always seems to have an attitude and simply looks like they don't want to be there. i understand work sucks but maybe fake your happiness and enthusiasm while customers are in the building. your staffs giving tropical smoothie a bad rep. read more

I am addicted!! I have tried the Blueberry Bliss, the Avocolada, and the Blimey Limey. They were absolutely amazing, smooth and flavorful! Im at tropical smoothie and this chick has black burned every sandwich she has toasted. How does the rest of the crew not smell something burning. The burnt grilled cheese she actually cut & was about to serve , but a co worker stopped her. Heck I said loudly "i know she is not about to".....her co worker came to the rescue. Good thing i got a wrap. However its took them 16 minutes to make a single wrap. I came out smelling like burnt toast lol. My avocalolda smoothie was great! My wrap looked so helpless. I didnt have the energy to go back in. read more

I am so glad Midwest City has a new restaurant that offers smoothies! I had never been to Tropical Smoothie before this location opened. I have tried multiple flavors and been happy with everything I've ordered. I also love that they have online ordering and then I can go by and pick it up quick. The California Baja bowl, Peaches n Silk, Bahama Mama, and Lean Machine all have my seal of approval. Anyone visiting this location should be prepared for the parking and traffic situation though. There's a lot beside the building that's easier to navigate. If the drive thru line has more than two cars in it, the entrance to the parking spaces in front of the building are blocked off. This isn't a deterrent, but just be prepared before you go. read more

I've come a handful of times and the smoothies are basically fruit icees. There's always something missing and I'm pretty sure it's a juice or nut/oat milk issue. You just don't get the satisfaction of creaminess you usually expect from a smoothie- you know, putting the "smooth" in smoothie...If you have ever had Jamaba juice then you know what I mean! As long as you know you won't get Jamba Juice perfection at this place then it's alright. Also be prepared to take your icee home to blend again b/c there's always huge chunks of ice that clog the straw in every sip. read more

came with my husband 2/19/23 at around 11:40am. walked in and was looking at the menu. the employees working were talking very loudly. a lady with glasses and a ponytail seemed very frustrated and kept saying how much she hated making smoothies etc the environment didn't feel very welcoming at all and we ended up leaving and just decided we would get food/smoothies somewhere else. we were never greeted and she asked us if we were ready to order we said we needed a few minutes and she rolled her eyes and walked away. read more

Early Sunday evening, two cars in line at drive through and two in the parking lot. Sat in line for at least 15 minutes with no movement. Finally got to place my order and then waited another 5 minutes to pull forward to a seemingly abandoned window. No employee. No greeting. No "we'll be right with you". Saw one employee walk past and go to the restroom. Sat for a couple more minutes before pulling away. If you can't hire enough employees to work both in-store and drive through simultaneously, then close one of the two options. read more

Wow this place was great. We went in for the first time and ordered 2 smoothies which were among the best smoothies I've ever had. We also ordered some food, it was a panini type thing my husband order and that was unique and great too. It took a little time but not excessively long, about enough time to cook something from scratch which is what you get. I will definitely be making this a regular. read more

Smoothie is good but prices are too high also much wait in drive through line . Food is so so but again prices are very high for snacks.

Smoothie is pretty good, but there's a 6 car line in the drive through and we haven't moved in over 10 minutes. As someone who used to work in a smoothie shop, it should never take this long. This is ridiculous. read more

Great smoothies and awesome wraps!!! Everything is very fresh and they have a convenient drive thru! Happy to have this place in Midwest City! You can also preorder on their app so you don't have to wait! That feature is pretty helpful at lunch time! read more

Used to be my favorite place to go. I would order carry out and go pick it up off the counter; in and out to get back to work quickly. Today I ordered ahead and their lobby is closed due to staffing shortages. Now there is no way to get the food except to wait in the drive through. I could literally see it just sitting on the counter, if they'd just unlock the door it would save both customers and their staff's time. What's the point of ordering ahead if you still have to wait in line for food that is just sitting there? Extremely disappointed in the management of what used to be a great location. read more

I do enjoy the food here but the service is horrible!!! Every time I come here you have to wait at least 20 or 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru. The other night I came in with a friend and we decided to eat in but we were never even greeted. After looking at the menu and standing at the counter for at least 5 minutes I noticed one of the girls look up with a dirty look towards my friend and that's when I decided we were leaving. I will find a different location go to from now on! read more

This is a nice clean restaurant the food and drinks are delicious but don't go here if you are in a hurry because everything is made when you order in so it's very time-consuming for them they cannot go fast so if you have time and you want to sit down and enjoy some good food come here read more

I ordered the chipotle chicken flatbread. The sandwich was put together terribly. It was too soggy and the flavor was unbearable. We waited 15 like we do everytime. You'd think they could make their food better. Especially since they weren't busy. Plus I'm a regular and everytime I come here the employees look at my girlfriend and I like they don't want to be there. So for short. Food has been better, could be faster, and you're at work. Literally stood in line for 15 minutes waiting to order before walking out and had two people remaining in front of me. Not sure if the person ordering was the problem or the female at the cash register. A uniformed member never got his water he had been waiting on. It's surprising no staff in the building what's so ever and it was in the middle of the day?! They were open but nobody was at the window or store. read more

This location is incredibly frustrating. The food can be good but it can also be very unsatisfactory as well as flat out wrong. Also, the order ahead option here does no good at times because regardless you have to wait in the drive through because they lock the door. So if you ordered it ahead of time because you need to be somewhere, you can be flat out screwed. Why have the option to order ahead if you have to wait 30 minutes in the drive through? That's the purpose of the order ahead feature. What's great is during that wait, the phone line doesn't work so you can't call and ask to bring it out at the door. I give a 2 star and not a 1 star rating because like I said, the food and smoothies can be good... at times. read more

Bland tasting smoothie. Have only been one time. No plans of going back. Wish we could have a Jamba Juice out here instead.

Good... Very good. But, the employees need to learn how to pronounce the food they serve correctly. And if they don't know how, do not make fun of the people who are saying it correctly because it sounds funny to you. Don't try to correct the people who know how to say it, and learn how to say it. Therefore, if you want good customer service, go in there and mispronounce your food and they will get it right without teasing you. read more
