Good smoothie, food needs work. I had the blimey limey smoothie and chicken pesto flatbread. The smoothie was great. It is sugary yes but typically anything fruit is. The flatbread looked fantastic but was mostly inedible due to the chicken being too tough to chew through. I'm not sure how they were even able to cut it because it was so tough. I had to remove it entirely from my flatbread which was incredibly disappointing. I might come back for a smoothie but the food will be a strong pass from now on. read more

My fiancée and I adore this place. We are vegetarians and our options in the Madison area are pretty limited, but we know we can always get something fresh, delicious, and different here. We love the buffalo chicken wrap with beyond meat in place of chicken. The buffalo is a bit spicy, so depending on our mood, we will switch it up and do chipotle in place of the buffalo. Both are absolutely delicious. I just tried the turkey BLT sandwich with beyond meat (chicken style) instead of turkey and no bacon and it was heavenly! Will definitely be getting that from now on! I go in and place my order of a smoothie and a sandwich and my side a banana and then sit down to wait one lady brings me my food in a bag I thank her but don't look in the bag okay cool. Very nice decor, friendly staff, and the flatbreads are very tasty. The kids meals are very affordable ($4.99 includes a smoothie) and the adult smoothies are huge! My wife and I are pretty big fans of smoothie shops and when we saw this one being so close to our house we were really excited. Unfortunately, that excitement didn't last too long. When we entered the shop no one said a word to us. We stood around for about 5 minutes and awkwardly stared at each other waiting for any of the workers to acknowledge that they had customers in front of them. I understand we walked in for smoothies 15 minutes til close and I'm sure these young kids were not the most excited to see us, but still, they were open for 15 minutes more minutes to make SMOOTHIES, not grilled steaks. Two groups of customers came in after us and they were greeted with a "welcome". We ended up walking out and probably won't be back to this shop. read more

I am so glad there is a Tropical Smoothie here in town. Prices are reasonable, food is out quickly, staff is friendly. They are finally use to the fact I order a retired smoothie (Cranberry Crush) that I originally tried nine years ago. Smoothies are delicious and supplements can easily be added.
