Do not visit this store 860 Duluth hwy . Me and a friend ordered directly from the tropical smoothie app and it was supposedly delivered but the dasher stole the order. We said fine , drove to the location and we were told that it was the wrong location and that we needed to drive to another location. We did - 20 mins away . Just to find out the original store we visited 1st was actually the right store and that the worker just didn't know what she was talking about and sent us on an unnecessary wild goose chase. Still we weren't upset , until we got back into the store and the food was there made... smoothies were melted and the food was cold. Figures , because it took 40 minutes to come back and get it 20 mins to the other store 20 mins back. We asked for them to remake it , worker said no. Then we asked for a full refund and they said now they can remake it. At that point we don't want the food it's not even morning anymore. They denied and denied the refund and on top of that the young girls that they have in store were laughing and making jokes throughout this entire ordeal. Mind you someone else came in upset because their items were incorrect & again those little girls were laughing as if they do not care about how they're making their customers feel. My friend did yell at the manager & I never agree with that , but I see his reasons because they were being extremely non compliant and nonchalant and just overall playing in customers face. Also , they are in there touching phones with gloves on and then making food and smoothies with the same gloves. I'm just overall disappointed because this is the location close to my home and now I can't come back - the manager said she'd refund me if I didn't return. (Also not great customer service when her worker was the reason all of this occurred in the first place. Also , the manager is friends with her employees as I heard over the phone , so maybe this is why her kid employees aren't taking anything serious inside of her location. My 1st time here was a phenomenal experience! Mike the general manager + his phenomenal team (Julianna/Jamarion etc.) created such a delightful atmosphere! I ordered the Mango Berry Cosmo smoothie and the Triple Berry Oats. Both of which tasted absolutely AMAZING. I will definitely be back. Next time I'll try the made fresh to order food. read more

I used to be a frequent customer at this location. Today is the last time I'm ordering from there. Unprofessionalism at its finest. I ordered delivery through the tropical smoothie app and ordered a combo with an extra side. Alao, delivery orders only process through their app if you purchase over $12 worth. The driver messages me and says that the cafe only gave them a smoothie and did not receive the other order. How does that make any sense? It's one order which includes the combo.. nobody is picking up. Yesterday I ordered a meal and by the time I get there walking up to the door there's a sign that says "we can not make any food right now". Nobody is at the cash register. The worker is socializing with some people at the table. The guy making my smoothie was attentive but outside of that management needs to make some proper adjustments. read more

Perfect 5 stars every single time. They work efficiently to get mobile orders on time and correctly! My flat bread sandwich is always amazing. I've had other locations where their sandwiches taste like it's all bread and no filling but not this location. Ill even pay extra to have it delivered to me. I absolutely love tropical smoothie. The have great specials and the food and smoothies are GOOD. But this location needs some TLC. Even when I preorder online, there is frequently a long wait, my smoothies are not filled to the top (see pic), sometimes they're still icy instead of smooth. I'm very concerned about the cleanliness of this place. The worker was also literally texting on the phone right before making our drinks (I asked for them to wash out the pitcher again, and they did). Other than that, the service is a little slow, but there were only two people working and they seemed to have a lot of online orders to fulfill. I appreciate the perks of Tropical Smoothie's rewards program. My smoothie was half off since I ordered a wrap with it. I was not impressed by the quality of the chicken in the Asian wrap at all so I'll definitely only be sticking to their smoothies. First time trying the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. My friend and I stopped in for s smoothie and a snack. The staff was very friendly, answered all of our questions. They offered suggestions and were very pleasant. The location has a tropical decor, I really liked that. The chairs are metal thought (with no cushioned seat), so not very comfortable if you plan to stay awhile. We both ordered yummy smoothies. My friend had the peanut butter cup and I had a chocolate banana smoothie - mine was the favorite! We ordered a chicken quesadilla. There were several to pick from. Ours had black beans, guacamole, onions and chicken. Although the amount of chicken is very small. I had to look inside to see if there was any in there. There was but not much. The cost is $5.95 I believe, so the cost is reasonable, so I guess that's the proper amount of chicken for the cost? I would try a smoothie again, but will definitely pass on the food. read more

I will not return to this location. Experienced two workers smelling in the containers and the smoothies I guess to figure out what they were. Just disgusting. I'm glad I was there to see them make mine to ensure they hadn't done it to mine. Also, with food preparation they should be made to pull their hair back or wear a net. The Asian worker kept shaking her hair and sweeping her bangs back with her hand while walking around the smoothie preparation area. It's a no for me on future visits. read more

They messed up my smoothie order not once but TWICE today, just for me to get home & my VEGGIE hummus wrap 1)was a completely different wrap made with chicken & 2)had absolutely no hummus.. just to make it better they closed early today. I've visited this location several times and I have celiac disease so I have to be mindful of what I eat. I typically order the same items when I frequent a location. I absolutely LOVE their Detox Island Green super veggie smoothie and that alone is good enough where I don't really need to order a food item but I still choose to do so most of the time. I typically order the Southwest Breakfast Wrap from their all day breakfast menu and even though it is not necessarily a gluten-free food item, I don't have a reaction from it and it tastes very delicious. I have also eaten their Hummus veggie wrap but I felt like I wouldn't like it so much due to the rice not being softer but it could just be me, and I've had their Cajun Shrimp Wrap which is definitely delicious! I have eliminated mostly from my diet but every now and then I do and when I do I make sure it is processed as little as possible. It's a bit of trial and error on my health journey. Regarding cleanliness of the store, I noticed the store is well kept and customer service is proving attentiveness and patience between all the staff as I've visited on different times and days frequently and they are consistent with accommodating each and everyone of their customers even with the difficult customers, they manage them all from my observation with kindness and true care. Tropical Smoothie is a local favorite of mine. However, we are in the middle of a pandemic COVID-19 and although the the sanitary procedures of the staff are not safe. 1. After ordering and waiting for my order to be prepared, a worker entered the establishment with gloves on and a bandana wrapped around her face. She walked right into the food prep area with those same gloves she had been outside with and on her phone with and began to separate containers proceed to prepare smoothie orders. No one stopped her. UNACCEPTABLE 2. Another worker was working in a spaghetti strap crop top and what appeared to be pink sleepwear bottom. Her abdomen area was exposed and the back of the pants looked like the crotch of boxers. She used gloves but also used her phone. She eventually took her gloves off to accept the incoming FaceTime call that she happily took. UNIFORMS SHOULD BE ENFORCED!! 3. Dry dirty and smelly. Trash cans were over flowing and no more then 3 guests in the store. Came to pick up a delivery and it wasn't ready and the smell was so bad I wanted to cancel it and leave. Behind the counter where your orders are made was gross trash all over the floor and items left out of the fridge. The health department should come by and see this. read more

It's very clear that ownership and management has left the building. This was a frequent stop for me before my daily run. As a small business owner I try to observe from a different angle other than the customer. The staff tries but I can clearly see with the high turnover that they are overwhelmed and untrained to give the complete solution to the customer. My last 2 trips there I had to wait 20 mins for an order I placed through the app 10 prior to getting there. My last trip they were out of ingredients to make the smoothie I ordered. The prep areas were filthy. Seen a girl walk in from outside not wash her hands an start handling food. The staff is nice, never rude. I put the blame on ownership and management. Get you some quality good paying staff in there, these kids don't care about no low paying jobs. Wake up or get gone! read more

This tropical smoothie is one of the worsts I've been to. Their staff is lazy, their food is always luke warm and sloppily put together, and their smoothies are always runny and never fresh. I really hope that they get all new staff or just have better management because something definitely has to change with this location. We just moved into town and this tropical smoothie is the closest to our house- we've been there 4 times so far and 2 out of the 4 times the drinks have been really bad. It's disappointing! HAPPY HOUR ALL SMOOTHIES $3.50 this has been the way Tropical Smoothie has always been. I've encouraged my co-workers to go there. I pick up smoothies for co-workers there. But.... today will be the last time. I was charged $3.50 for my smoothie but full price for my co-workers smoothie at 7:30 this morning. Employee claims that it's only one smoothie for happy hour. The sign clearly stated all smoothies. he said the old manager was wrong (apparently every other manager is wrong too) I made sure to share with my co-workers to no longer go to this location. This location is pretty good compared to others! Employees are friendly and helpful, they do seem slower but I notice they only have 2-3 blenders where others have 3-5 which makes a big difference. My drink has always been good & never had to ask for a redo so that says a lot! read more

Wow first time at this location and needless to day I'll take the extra drive up to suwanee for my next visit. First off the customer service in there was horrible cashier had an attitude with me and told me she would not accept my money (100$). I then paid with a card after I noticed I was charged an extra bag of chips that I did not order. The food i received was the most dissatisfying part of it. I ordered three different menu items and each came soggy with the chicken still slightly cold. One item failed to even receive sauce with more coleslaw then bread and chicken... I ordered the watermelon mojito but got what tasted like a strawberry slush with no hint of mint at all. Overall highly dissatisfied I would not reccomend.
