At this point I'm in disbelief this place is still open. Whoever is the franchise owner here doesn't care, or just doesn't go to the store to see the travesty of workers they have. There's so much wrong with this place it's not even worth taking the time to actually write it all out. Fire everyone and rehire staff that are actually remotely competent, know how to treat customers, I get it food service jobs aren't the prettiest but there's no reason for these employees to act like this. Go down the road about a half a mile and hit up Jersey Mikes. You'll at least be treated with some dignity. read more

Waited 45 minutes for 3 sandwiches. Watched employees hang out and not do anything to progress my order or the 2 people ahead of me. Asked for a refund after 45 minutes and still no sandwiches. They scrambled to make my order when confronted. Left the store with no refund and no food. The customer service is beyond terrible. No one knew how to process the refund so I will dispute the charge on my card. read more

Lawrenceville/Duluth Hwy -- DO NOT GIVE BUSINESS TO THIS LOCATION!!!! The person in this picture (Brittany) has HORRIBLE customer service and is VERY RUDE! She does not need to work with the public!!! I have called corporate 5 times demanding to speak with the franchise owner of this location after the way I was treated, after 3 weeks of calling corporate, no returned call and no refund from the owner, Philip "Phil" Schmohl! Do not order online and do not expect any kind refund if there is a problem with service or order ---only the owner/store can refund money -- After 3 weeks of calling Corporate and requesting to speak with Phil the owner, I filed a FRAUD charge on my bank account due to this company not handing my complaint and for not refunding my money for my online sandwich -- I NEVER RECEIVED! THE OWNER, PHIL SCHMOHL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THIS BUSINESS or CUSTOMERS!!!! If he did, he would be handling his complaints that are escalated to him. read more

Consistently great food. I've been going to this location for about four years now and they have stayed consistent. Tonight the guys working there all greeted me with a big hello. I came in pretty close to closing time and apologized for being late but they said they were happy to have me as a customer. The place was so clean too. I just love it. You have some great employees there for sure. read more

Second time Coming here Since it's nearby I decided to give another try I walk in, there's no greeting, staff looked upset working there. Cashier looked at me, I gave him the greeting but still no greeting back, anyways As I was waiting for my food 2 girls in front kept chatting/laughing, while one of them making my sandwich, one did not have mask on and had her iPhone headset on. Felt like they were talking while my food is in front of them. Finally got my food As soon as I opened the food Sandwich looked complete mess, I grabbed a sandwich, everything fell on my lap. I lost half of my sandwich No more from here read more

Firehouse Subs - Messy sandwich - Fast Food Near Me - Lawrenceville, Georgia

I don't eat at Firehouse Subs often. I came here for this particular visit for my birthday sub sandwich and selected the Medium Prime Rib Steak. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted pleasantly by one of the employees. I was assisted throughout with my questions answered. The ambiance was quiet with a slight humming from the machines, but it was peaceful in which I opted to sit inside at the bar window seating area and enjoyed the view as I ate my sandwich. I don't eat pork and was pleased that this prime rib steak was an option. The different flavors complimented each other and it was a delight to consume. I love the convenience of the location of this restaurant and the different options they offer from cold to warm subs. read more

I haven't been to this location in a while and today I was craving a Hook and Ladder! Even though they weren't busy, I couldn't help but observe how dirty the restaurant was. I went around 1:30PM and it was in terrible shape. I understand the staffing shortages that businesses are experiencing but they should never compromise cleanliness. I would have preferred to wait a bit longer for my food and see a clean restaurant. read more

This place has always had great subs, but this new pepperoni pizza meatball sub is the BOMB!! Next time I go I'm thinking about just getting a foot long. I ordered a medium with chips and almost went back up and ordered a small. Instead of doing that I drank like 3 cups of tea to satisfy my craving for that beloved sub. It ends July 1st but I was told they can still make it if you want it. It'll be called something different next month from what I've been told. That was a relief. Whew!!! read more

Firehouse is your answer if you're craving a sub/sandwich. The medium sandwiches seem smaller than a 12 inch but they're filled with so much meat and toppings that you get full. Unlike subway, they don't go cheap with the toppings as you can see in my pics, the subs are loaded. So much flavor. Subs I love: - Club on a sub - Honey ham add bacon - Italian - turkey bacon ranch All their subs are amazing, just depends what you like! Go give it a try and you've found your new lunch spot! read more

Ordered online and went to pick up at time given. They never "confirmed" the order. I ordered online to save time, it went the opposite way read more

My wife and I love firehouse subs, but the service at this location was terrible. We made our order online and went to pick up the order. I checked the bag and we had the two subs so I didn't check any further. Once we got home, we noticed my pregnant wife's order was wrong. It was a completely different sub. My sub was right, but now I have to put it in the fridge and make another trip to get hers made again. We called the phone number first and no one answered. When I get there I tell them and they just laugh and say oh you put this sub in there bag instead. So they've messed up two orders. Laughed about it and the fact that we've had to make another trip. The remake the sub, but now my sub is already cold at home. To top it off, neither of the employees had on hair nets, hats, or visors. One of the employees had EarPods in both of his ears so much so that he couldn't even hear when I asked for my receipt back. Very unprofessional, and also against heath code. And the receipt was printed with a survey website on the back, which says the survey is no longer available when you try to take it. Will not be going to this location again. read more

It was so Ironic; to see all the fundraising and million of dollars of donations to firefighters, with lifesaving equipment...and to have all three employees working behind the counter, not wearing masks during Covid. read more

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered a 14$ hook and ladder to find it had a bone in the ham. I called the store, spoke to BRITTANY, let her know there's a bone in the ham just to be told "That's Impossible". She was the absolute rudest manager I have ever spoken to. I DID NOT ask for a refund or another sandwich just calling as an FYI and was told I'm a liar and hung up on read more

I always get the firehouse steak and cheese sub. The food is consistently good. The staff is friendly too. Def recommend trying out their subs! read more

5/5 stars I recommend, I became a regular customer ever since Adrianah the manager helped me create and pick out my first sub!!! Service here at this location is always great and on point with the greetings also with making sure every order is made correctly and with the pickle on the side. I enjoy every meal I have from this location, 10/10 service and 10/10 hospitality read more

I stopped in this location while hanging out with my sister for what we thought was going to be a quick bite to eat. Sadly, that was far from the case as we waited 30-minutes for our food. While waiting, we observed several people who arrived well after us, pick up their food and leave. Not one time did we hear anyone apologize for the wait or see the four staff members work with a sense of urgency to take care of all the patrons. We observed a black, female employee talking on the phone with a pair of gloves in her hand while standing partially in the kitchen. This same female was wearing the face mask with her nose fully exposed while on the cook line. Several times, we observed the associates leave the line for product but never wash their hands upon returning to the kitchen line (per the health code). There were so many patrons inside the location that social distancing was not possible. We saw zero leadership to fix the chaos. read more

Second time at this location. Did a online order in front if store. When I git to door it was locked. They said pos system was down. Had to call customer service to get them to send order. Unfriendly. I will Void this location read more

Everytime I come in im always waiting around 45 minutes, worst wait time ever, for 2 medium sandwiches and still got my order wrong

This location has been steadily going downhill for years. Poor service. Unclean store and indifferent employees. Last night we walked into a store with only one customer at a table and yet neither employee could be bothered to greet us or acknowledge us. One employee never even looked at us ... and the other looked at us while we stood by the counter waiting to be served and then looked away. We stood there for several minutes as if we were invisible. And there was at least one other employee in the back that never came to see if we needed help. And it's not like they were slammed with orders. They flat out just did not care that we were there. Having enough we left and went to a different location. And guess what? The other location was slammed with customers, only had two employees working and yet they greeted us, were extremely friendly and had our food ready promptly. All with a thank you and have a great day. There's literally no excuse for the poor service at this location. Hire better people. Train them better. Be accountable. Chick-fil-A does it. Arby's does it. Your other location does it. I'm looking at you management and ownership. Do better. There are far too many choices out there. read more

Plan ahead when coming here. Order times seem high. I noticed other reviews about slow service and I did come during the lunch rush hour. I just think 30 minutes for a plain sub is a bit ridiculous. read more

Firehouse Subs are absolutely delicious. They are filled with a ton of meat & flavor. Personally, I find their sandwiches much better than Subway. They also have a variety of healthy options. The service is not bad at all at this location which is always a perk! read more

My husband loved his #3 steamer. Mother hated her #7 steak and cheese. I felt my #8 engineer sub was satisfactory. Overall the service was bland and quite confusing. We could not understand the cashier and she could not understand us. I ordered a combo but the cashier did not give me a cup or instruct me to get chips. Very odd to see the poor communication of the staff. The place was empty at 12:15pm so it was not too loud or distracting. The food was warm but lacked quality since the subs looked thrown together and I the meat was not evenly distributed on the subs. The food was fast with very little wait. read more

Came in with my parents and brother in law tonight. I ordered the Italian sub with jalapeños, bell peppers, and black olives. When I got it I was missing some of my toppings and when I asked for them again I was told by the manager that they were almost out..... I asked for what they had. The manager had a bad attitude and was happy to pass me off to the other employees. The sandwich was amazing I would totally order again i would probably just go to another location so that I could give my business to someone who wants it than one who makes me feel like an inconvenience. read more

Go to subway instead. There's literally no reason it should take 30 minutes to get a subpar sandwich. Minimal meat, minimal toppings, absurd wait time. No part of it is worth it. read more

This is the second time I'm leaving a 1 star review. They always fail to get your order wrong and the food is always cold and at times you end up waiting more than 45 minutes for a medium sandwich. I've only eaten at a FHS a few times and the sandwiches are pretty good and the people are very nice at this location

This was my first time eating at a Firehouse Subs. Both of the men working had excellent customer service. I came in around 4:45 with my daughter, and Draven is the name printed on my receipt that took my order. Also, the man that made my sub did an excellent job. I really enjoyed it! read more

I went in and ordered the vegetarian on whole wheat with out onions and tomatoes. I also requested them to go light on the sauces because I don't like my sandwich to be soggy and I asked them to toast it extra crispy. The gentleman suggested a hot sauce for my sandwhich. The sandwich was perfect, it tasted amazing and the sauce added a great flavorful kick to it. They greeted me when I came in and they said goodbye when I left. They were patient and attentive. I was greeted when I came in and I think that man is one hell of a good sandwich maker. The hot sauce was Hammond gator. read more

The staff is really cool and friendly. The young lady named Ivy was really nice and helped answer some of my questions. There was a guy I think his name was..Kole? Cole? So I come into this establishment to get dinner for myself and my family. When ordering one of my sandwiches the large man with the deep voice proceeded to get angry with me for wanting to add onions to a meatball sub. Then laughed and rolled his eyes and sighed very loud as if that was to much to ask for. He was very impatient and showed it within his voice and actions. It's not like I've ever walked into a subway and they said I can't put something on my sub. read more

In the 2-1/2 years since I wrote my original review, I've had 3 meatball subs, each of which had at least one nasty, old, hard meatball in it. It's bad enough to make you stop eating the rest of the sub. I've previously contacted management about the nasty meatball problem but yesterday's meatball sub had the same problem. It's an understatement to say the sub left a bad taste in my mouth. No more Firehouse Subs for me. read more
