I skipped the lite ranch and next time I will either skip the pickled onions or request very few, since there were so many onions in the wrap and I prefer less of the vinegar taste. You might live those pickled onions; they were tasty. Wrap comes with chips or apple. Chose Lays baked potato chips. Will try a different side next time. Those chips were dry and not worth the calories or extra sodium. read more

While in Tampa Jeannie & I decided to stroll into Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a much needed pick me up and detox. The young employees working there with the exception of the helpful cashier demonstrates the lack of maturity as soon as one walks through the door. You can hear them joking and playing around in the back. It seemed more like a hang out than a workplace. The place is kept clean. The food is fresh- quite delicious is I am being honest. I ordered the Bahama Mama the Santa Fe wrap and Jeannie order Avocolada with the new Berries Acial bowl. Two thumbs up for the food. They just need to get their employees in check. read more

This establishment has lost my business. Attempted to order through app with a one day reward, and app didn't work. Attempted to go inside and order, and was unable to use reward due to the app error. Spoke with manager who said there was nothing he could do for me other than refer me to corporate. Very poor customer service when manager has no authority to make things right with a customer. I ended up getting lunch from a competitor whose app DID work and had good service. I actually liked coming here for lunch for the food occasionally but the customer service at this location (Largo) is terrible. Almost everyone I've encountered working here is rude and don't have their manners in when dealing with public customers. My order has been wrong several times and they've blamed me for it somehow. I recommend avoiding this place for several reasons... Number one, it's staffed with a bunch of kids who look like they are 14. This is likely the root cause of the piss poor service there, and the extraordinary long waits for simple drinks. The quality of the smoothies is average at best, and they have a very bizarre methodology of paying with a credit card, different than any store or restaurant I've ever seen. I challenge anyone to figure it out correctly the first time. They seem to get online orders there but don't prioritize walk-in customers. It's just a cluster there don't go. read more

There are all sorts of combinations of smoothies, and you can even make your own if you don't find something you like. My favorite of course falls into the indulgent category, Tropi-Colada. Pineapple, Coconut, and Banana with Splenda. Mmmmm good! Somewhat sweet yet very fruity. The Smoothies fall into three categories, Low-fat, Supercharged, and Indulgent. You can add supplements for an additional charge of 99 cents such as, Whey or Soy Protein, Whole Grain Oats, Vitamin C Complex, Flax Seed, to name a few. They also have a extensive list of food too. Breakfast Wraps, Toasted Flatbreads and Sandwiches, and fresh salads. They also offer a kids menu. Smoothies are delicious. The food quality has gone down, so I stopped ordering lunch and now only get smoothies here. They deliver but they do not take more than one credit card over the phone. I used to place orders for my coworkers but we stopped placing big orders since they did not want to accommodate separate payments. Customer service is not the best, always a hit or miss. However I do appreciate the fact that you can ask for any smoothie to be made with Splenda instead of sugar. read more

Extremely disappointed with my visit to this tropical smoothie location today. I don't know what was worse, the fact I wasn't able to drink my my smoothie, or the way the junior high cheerleading squad of a staff treated me today. The man at the counter was trying to take my order but couldn't hear me because of the degenerate obnoxious white girls working at this place screeching in the back. He then proceeded to ask them to settle down so he could take my order and one of the girls yelled slurs at him and then walked away and proceeded to make another drink. When it was time for her to prepare my drink I watched her spit into my drink and laugh about it with her friends. Honestly i wouldn't be that upset, spit is just spit, but the fact that the girl that made my drink and spit in it was wearing an extremely sleazy outfit with her buttocks hanging out of her shorts, lead me to not be able to drink my smoothie due to the fact I could possibly come in contact with an STD. My smoothie from here, as well as my friend's smoothie which was different than mine, was FULL of small plastic fibers??? They were about half an inch long and after every sip, our mouths were full of them. I'm confused as to what exactly it was, but it was super gross and inedible. Wow! Sooo happy with this little gem we stumbled upon as we were leaving Clearwater this afternoon. I was craving a protein smoothie and the chocolate banana smoothies we'd had the last two mornings at a popular coffee shop chain were just not cutting it. We saw Tropical Smoothie Cafe and decided to give it a try. Tropical Smoothie is AWESOME! Not only do they have a great variety of "scrumptious" smoothies, (as the discerning 6 year old boy who was with us remarked), they also have DELICIOUS and VERY TASTY wraps and salads. You can also add whey or soy protein, or other healthy nutritious add ins to your smoothie. I ordered the Blue Lagoon smoothie and added whey protein, and the Thai chicken wrap. My smoothie was refreshing and excellent! My friend got the Mocha Madness smoothie and also added whey protein powder and it was out of this world! (It was my original choice, but I went with a healthier option instead. I thoroughly enjoyed my blue lagoon smoothie, but I was a bit envious of him and his mocha madness smoothie). The Thai chicken wrap is THE BEST Thai chicken wrap I've ever had. The six year old kiddo got a Lil' Lemon Berry smoothie from the kids menu and was very pleased, as he told us it was a "scrumptious" smoothie. We also got two of the homemade chocolate chip cookies and they, like everything we ordered and tasted, were perfection. It was our first experience at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and we're truly hoping it's not our last, and that we find another one of these heavenly smoothie oases again while we are down in the Florida Keys, back up in Winter Haven, or in Ft Lauderdale during our fun fall Florida vacation. This smoothie cafe offers some of the BEST SMOOTHIES I've had to date,...Actually, probably the best I've ever had, and it's got some excellent wrap, salad, sandwich options and cookies too. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I place an order with Juliette (one of the owners) for a sunrise sunset with half whey and half soy protein. The order was delivered to me wrong, and they refused to refund me for the difference of the overcharge. John (the other owner) came out of the back and yelled at me for having him remake my original order and then accused me of calling his wife a liar. I called the store later for corporate's information, and John called me back to yell at me saying that I'm an impossible customer to please, that I'm a crazy person off the street, and that he'll file a restraining order against me. At this point, I hung up. So I was charged extra for my drink, was yelled at and harassed at the store, and then threatened with a restraining order for complaining.
