    Spicy Italian Sandwich

Cute little Italian shop and deli. I'm obsessed with this Spicy Italian sub. The pepper relish they use is so delicious. Service was helpful and timely. I went around 10:30am and there was no wait.

I've hated eggplant for as long as I can remember. I hate the texture, I hate the smell, but Cesarina's eggplant parmigiana has made me a convert! As in, I'll only eggplant if it's from them. Exhibit A: a full pan (almost the size of my stove!) of their eggplant parmigiana is $105, and serves 15-20. I portioned them out to freeze and actually got 24 servings, which comes out to a little over $4 a pop. Exhibit B: double portion bc I was hangry. Such a fantastic deal and way better than any frozen version you could find at your local grocery store!

Delicious and fresh food, we highly recommend stopping in. Our pizza and sub were both great, and the staff were kind!

Greetings you amazing people !!! I didn't try the specialties here since I had plans to eat afterwards but I enjoyed my pepperoni slice quite a bit First I have to mention I don't like how little tomato sauce there was , I like that contrast of acidity and cheese but there was hardly any sauce. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because the service was great and despite the pizza not having what I liked , everything else was really good. Definitely coming back to try the lasagna and sandwiches :)

Chicken parm sandwich - it's pretty huge

4++ a small Italian grocer/deli that has a full service counter where you can order sandwiches, desserts, and pasta. Inside this deli, there are also some Italian staples where are you can buy make food at home like pastas, pasta, sauces, etc. etc.. Feels like a cozy small town store full of charm. The folks here we're super friendly and helpful. and I ended up ordering a chicken Parm sandwich. It was delicious and huge and the price was super reasonable. I could barely finish a little more than half of it and I was pretty hungry. I'm also not the smallest person either. I was in town for Tampa Bay beer week and was driving across town to stand in line to buy beer bottles (special releases). Everything was timed so I had to head back to Saint Pete or Seminole Heights after hitting up a place in Largo. Needed something quick, but didn't want fast food (from chains) so I found this place. I was glad that I did! Definitely would recommend for takeout, or to buy some items to cook your own food at home. Such a great find especially for me as a tourist not really knowing the area.

Even had a Harmonica Man play a tune for us

They sell Margherita pepperoni sticks. I love their Italian sub sandwich. They have a variety of Italian speciality foods.

If you are looking for a great Italian sub, this place is it. I also got the mushroom ravioli, and a baguette. They never disappoint!

The food is amazing, but the real star of the show is the Carnivora pizza--loaded with meat, perfectly cooked, and packed with incredible flavor in every bite. It's easily one of the best pizzas I've had! Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and outstanding food, this place checks all the boxes. If you're looking for a great Italian spot, Country Pizza Italian Grill is definitely worth it. I'll be back for that Carnivora pizza again soon! Whenever I'm in town I always make a stop here

I ordered a large cheese pizza and…read morechicken alfredo fettuccine, and both dishes were extremely underwhelming and honestly unpleasant. The menu claims the food is "made from scratch," but that was very hard to believe. The pizza sauce tasted like it came straight from a can, with absolutely no visible seasoning or flavor. It was bland and tasted processed. The chicken alfredo fettuccine also tasted artificial, nothing like a fresh or homemade alfredo sauce. It lacked the rich, creamy flavor you would expect from a scratch-made dish. What made the situation worse was the customer service. When I politely brought the issue to their attention and explained that the food did not taste fresh, they refused to take the food back or make it right. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or show any concern for the customer's experience. Unfortunately, between the poor food quality and lack of customer service, I would not recommend this restaurant. There are far too many places that value quality and their customers to spend money here.

While the NY-style crust was excellent, the sauce was a bit too sweet than I prefer, and they were quite frugal with the pepperoni, my only topping Maybe I caught them on an off night? The service was also not very friendly. I was just given a total, then handed my pizza. No "Hello," or "Hey, thanks for your business." Hmmmmm... While I was optimistic visiting here, "Mamma" did not give me any good reason to return. Oh well...

I ordered the same pizza as the last couple of times (18" Supreme) but I just need to add a couple…read moreof small updates. For one thing, the 18" pies are now $2 or $3 more than the 16" ones. No big deal for a bigger pie, actually. One thing I neglected to mention about the toppings on this thing...they are fresh! No canned mushrooms or soggy pepper chunks on this bad boy. Again, the veggies are plentiful and there's enough protein (sausage, pepperoni and mutz) to keep the flavor going. I know Westshore just up the street uses canned veggies on their pies...yet another valid reason to stay away from there. Now here's an interesting side note...I made the call to place the order. For a split second I thought I dialed the wrong number. A lady with a thick Asian accent answered and I had to slow down a bit to make sure I understood her and conveyed my own information properly. When I get there to pick up, indeed an Asian lady (Vietnamese, actually) was behind the counter running the place. I usually get the owner himself, but he wasn't anyplace in the small store. This time, meanwhile, their newest menu was plastered onto the pizza box. One of the oddities I noticed in the appetizer section of their menu is "Vietnamese Egg Rolls." I'd seen it previously but thought nothing of it. So putting two and two together I figured out that Mrs. Owner was in charge today! Now the egg roll app makes a lil more sense! So the big thing out of all this is what I'd said previously...I am glad to support these local "little guy" operations. I'm particularly proud to do so when I see a hard working couple running an operation like this rather than filling some third party's pocket. She was a very nice, polite lady, much as her husband is a well mannered man. Both are friendly and solicitous, and they know how to make a mean pie. I highly recommend them; I would just get it to go, because the shop itself wins no prize at all.
