We were able to order right away , we are acai lovers. I went with the Nutella with extra chia seeds and the wife decided on Mango with her nutella. The bowls were the perfect size for us, and as good as we have had anywhere. They have plenty of parking and good amount of space inside with a few tables outside also. This store was spotless clean from the front windows to very back where the bathrooms were located and yes spotless bathrooms. It's been awhile since I've been to tropical smoothie cafe and decided to stop by today. They have a drive-thru which I appreciate and the customer service is usually friendly. As with a majority of places, prices have gone up, however it's still affordable. I had the chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich which comes with a side, I chose harvest cheddar sun chips. I had an acai smoothie from there which was delicious and refreshing. The sandwich came out fresh and flavorful, the chips were a nice addition. When the food was delivered we noticed that both our salads were missing an ingredient and as the salad bowls, (which are modest), were only 2/3 of the way full, it was noticeable. $12.99 is too much to pay for a small salad missing ingredients. read more

This is the SECOND time I have had a severe allergic reaction because these people genuinely don't Give Two Sh*ts if they compromise your health or not! I asked for them to simply make my smoothie in a blender they have never used strawberries in. And they insist on that they "sanitize" their blenders. Tropical Smoothie Cafe just opened up a few miles from my house and I was excited to buy for a quick lunch. The staff is very friendly and the environment was clean and welcoming. The menu offers bowls, sandwiches, wraps and smoothies of course. I tried the Baja chicken bowl and my sister tried the caribbean jerk chicken bowl and we both had the kale salad for our side. Both bowls were very flavorful and the portions were filling. We also split a watermelon mojito smoothie. That wasn't my favorite flavor, but I will surely be going back to try the rest of the menu. I get dinner or at least a smoothie from this location about once a week, so seems I should share some additional details. Tropical Smoothie is far and away my favorite smoothie business, as they have several flavors that I've enjoyed over the past few years. I typically order the Lean Machine or Chia Banana Boost, but have also had the Peanut Paradise, Beach Bum and Mocha Madness - all very good. If I'm there early in the morning, I really like the Peanut Butter Crunch Flatbread, and for dinner my recent go-to is the Hummus Veggie Wrap. When I feel I've been eating too many burgers and brisket, I feel like a meal from Tropical Smoothie Cafe brings me (a little) balance :) I don't miss the meat with the Hummus Veggie Wrap because there is so much flavor throughout. I also enjoy the convenience of their app. I place my order on the app, go through the drive through, and they had my food out the window and I'm done. The entire staff has always been very friendly and, because I use the app, I get a free weekly supplement and frequent $5 credits off my purchase. I was so excited to see this place open! I've been seriously missing yummy smoothies since Jamba Juice closed. I haven't tried the food there yet because the smoothie is usually enough to keep me full for awhile. There's a number of different flavors and boosts that are available. I love orange and mango so all of the flavors I've tried so far are a variation of that. I've tried the Sunrise Sunset, Sunshine, and Mango Magic. My favorite so far is the sunrise sunset. All smoothies are made with turbinado but you can substitute that for Splenda. One thing I absolutely love is that there's a drive thru!! I know, lazy, lol. Clearly no one has listened to my pleas for a TSC near Euless, Grapevine, or Irving, or even more in Dallas. Fort Worth of all places keeps getting TSC locations! No offense Funkytown...but there are cooler cities that deserve a TSC. I ordered a smoothie and quesadilla combo. I had the sunrise sunset smoothie. The smoothie was okay, just needed a bit more flavor to it. The quesadilla was terrific. I tried Tropical Smoothie Cafe today, on a small break. The cafe itself is bright colored and welcoming. I ordered a Peaches N Silk classic smoothie with a Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread. The smoothie, which was the main reason for my visit, was just okay. It tasted a tad bland - more like a fruit and ice blend with no other additions. It could be just the flavor I tasted but I would've like more of a fruit flavor pop with a sweet reminder that it is a smoothie I am drinking. On the other hand, the flatbread was great! So I can see myself returning if I want food & if I'm ready to try another smoothie flavor. If I want only a smoothie then I'd probably seek my nearest Jamba Juice ... Smoothie King also has a higher rating based on flavor in my opinion. read more
