Please avoid it all cost, I have been here several times and each time it has gotten worse as far as service. 25 minutes in line and still not even up to the window and only two cars. Not busy at all but so far 25 minutes to service two cars how this place is open is beyond me. read more

I can see why this location has such low ratings. We have been the only vehicle in the drive through for nearly 15 minutes, and were advised the inside is busy and that we need to wait a bit longer. This is ridiculous! They are either severely understaffed or those working have no idea how to balance the drive through with people inside. read more

Great customer service, they helped me with my online order that wasn't going through in the midst of an upcoming storm and then gave me 3 free cookies for the wait! I appreciated them doing that especially during the weather. read more

The smoothies are not made well - they taste like and have the texture of a 7/11 slushee rather than a "healthy" (or at the very least made with real fruit) smoothie. The staff is fine despite what other reviews say. Not really sure what people expect from minimum wage??? read more

Service so slow! Pull up to drive through and the kid says it's a 20 minute wait! At a FAST FOOD PLACE? Nope Went to the other Tropical Smoothie on Dixie much happier quicker service! read more

Worse service ever. we waited at the counter for eight minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. Once we said, excuse me, can we order the young man running the register snapped at us and said, "can't you see that we're busy". I said excuse me, sir we just wanna order. If it's too busy we can go and then he rolled his eyes. You Once we got our food. It was a hot mess and had pesto all over the bag. We had to wait for 15 minutes just for the food. The staff is terrible and unkind. I would not recommend this! read more

every time I come here it takes them 20 minutes to make one smoothie. They are very friendly but so slow. The one on dixie highway is much faster and even good life on Sashabaw has far better smoothies plus they are fast. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Chicken fat? Gizzards? Who knows. Order something with chicken and you have the possibility to find out! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Clarkston, Michigan

Worst experience I've EVER had at a tropical smoothie location. The employees don't greet you, I had to ask for my receipt and the employees seem like they don't enjoy their job. A female employee rolled her eyes when I asked for my receipt. read more

Super friendly staff and the food and smoothies are always on point. Expect to wait a little bit as everything is made to order, but its worth it! I have been too other locations that may be slightly quicker but the Sashabaw store's quality and customer service is unmatched! read more

How disappointing!! Brought my daughters for an end of summer treat and have been sitting in the drive through for over 30 minutes. If I hadn't already ordered I would have left. Not sure what is taking so long... the car at the window in front of me has been sitting there for at least 10 minutes at this point and no one has even come the window to greet them or take their payment. Huge mistake coming here... read more

I never ever do this, but I am so disappointed. I ordered a hummus veggie wrap. When i bit into it it was completely wrong and had chicken in it. I've been vegetarian for over 3 years and this was very frustrating for me. I kindly asked for the correct order, and after I got it I started to eat it and realized that there was no black beans at all and no rice in half of my sandwich. The last of it was a tortilla with dry rice in it, no flavor. As a vegetarian struggling to find reliable food places, I am sad to cross another off the list. Someone could be seriously hurt by this. read more

Terrible service. No enthusiasm in their voice, only gave us a total and nothing else. Rude and didn't even say we were all set when given food. Just handed the food and no response. RUDE. and the smoothies tasted bitter and not good and we get the same items everytime. read more

Smoothies and food were good, service a little slow but it was busy and only like 3 people working.

The worst tropical smoothie I've ever been to. We wanted something healthy and so we decided to stop on our way up north. When I gave my order the girl was nice but didn't write anything down. Once I gave her the full order she said she should write it down and then I had to repeat it. She asked me if I wanted strawberry in my Chia Banana Max and I said no. I had never had that question before and I order them all the time. Then a lady walked in after me, 2 drive through people, a group of 5 teens ... all these people received their smoothies before we did. She kept telling me we were next but then she would make someone else's drink. She finally gave us our food and we had it all eaten before we got our smoothies. After everyone else was served we got our smoothies. We walked out and they immediately locked the door as it was closing time. I took one drink of my smoothie and it wasn't what I ordered. This was SO frustrating as it's late and we were trying to get on the road. And they had locked the doors. Also - there was food all over the floor where they were making food. And the counters were filthy. I think the cash box was hanging out as well. This place needs new ownership, but regardless we will never be back. read more

An overall incredible lack of enthusiasm from staff but the smoothies are always on point and just as described. As I stand here, staff aren't all in uniform, in fact one appears that she's in pajamas and there's a lot of yelling, but for a quick, light mid day meal, you can't go wrong. I love the Peanut Paradise, a sensation of sweet and savory, along with whey protein for a thick treat that holds me over to dinner. I will probably make it back here but wouldn't recommend it to friends or family as a happy/cherry/bright place! read more

Ugh, this location is horrible. I've banned it. I refuse to go there anymore! I will go out of my way to Dixie location instead. Management hires these kids who are unmotivated, unfriendly and act like they don't want to be there. The place is always dirty looking, kitchen too. The smoothies are always bland and a couple times I've questioned if they put in the "extras" I paid for because it didn't taste like it should. I didn't feel like going back asking about it so I could get an eye roll and wait another 15 minutes for them to make it again. I'm done with them. read more

The most inconsistent place I've ever been to. 50/50 chance of getting a smoothie so bland that you just want to pour it down the drain. Management needs to retrain employees as clearly there is some sort of confusion going on. I have never had a problem at another tropical smoothie. read more

Incomplete order! Do not use Uber eats with these guys, they told me "there is nothing we can do to help you, unless you drive here". Worst customer service recovery answer ever! read more

This is my second attempt recently at this location and both times, I have felt cheated out of my money. The food has been of such poor quality and certainly not made with care. The quesadillas hardly have cheese in them, the dressing/sauces on the flatbreads are hardly there, the tomato seems like they might have been running low? I feel as though each time my food is made, they are desperately trying to ration ingredients..... I don't think anyone wants to spend money on food they feel is being rationed. Of all the locations I've been to, this one has been the most disappointing, by far. The customer service is wonderful (in my experiences) and I don't come back to request new food be made because I'm using the drive thru and not in a position where I can easily go back in (baby in car, eating once home, etc). I hope they can re-train staff and this will resolve the issue. I will only try once more at this point. read more

I went in here for a smoothie and I was trying to look for the cookie dough smoothie I use to get, but alas, it looked like it wasn't on the menu anymore. I opted for the sunshine smoothie, which was very tasty, but it was WAY too sweet too be sugar-free like I asked for (oh well.) I asked last minute for the fat-burning supplement added to my smoothie, which I knew I should've asked way sooner, but my cashier was accommodating and asked the people in the back to add it. Unfortunately it got a little disturbing when the guy making the smoothie told the girl, "I'll add in the fat-burner! JUST GO!" Umm...I'm not sure where he comes from to speak to anyone like that, yet alone a lady, but it was highly disturbing and inappropriate. I did tell her thank you when she came back. I waited and sure enough, the guy that made my smoothie was the one being rude to the cashier. I won't come back just for the poor attitude from certain employees working there. I'll go to the new one opened in Oxford instead. read more

super fun location. delicious food and smoothies. the employee at the window is always super energetic and kind!

I came here tonight inside and ordered a smoothie although I'm always delighted with my smoothie and the service this time my smoothie was great service not so much I understand only 2 people were here and they weren't that busy I waited 15 minutes to get my order placed and another 10 for my smoothie the boy looked very overwhelmed and like he was confused I felt so bad for him I love coming here but think I'll stick with the drive thru next time! read more

This place took over 10 minutes to make my order. All the kids "workers" stood around talking while only one girl worked on my order. If you need to make any kind of alterations to your smoothie because of allergies be prepared for the smoothie to be horrible. I have tried it twice. I have also tried to let the management know my concern. I was basically told that every other tropical smoothie does it wrong but this one does it right, so I can order differently in the future if I want it better. I'm a person that goes to tropical smoothie frequently so I have come to love and expect certain levels of quality and service when going into their franchises.
