Picking up the food was super easy with parking spots for pizza pickup orders. Good music playing of course, and the owner was so friendly and kind to talk to. Honestly one of the nicest guys! The sauce has zero flavor and the cheese had a flavor, but it wasn't a good one. The cheese bread was also thin and had the weird cheese taste. Out of the two things ordered here - the cheese bread was the winner. Mainly because of the ranch that came with it. The ranch was the best thing we got from Buddy's in Clarkston. I checked the Buddy's website and social media -- it looks like they do still make deep dish pizzas. Maybe the Clarkston location just needs more/better training? The brisket and pulled pork were absolutely loaded with fat. There was so much fat that it felt like I was paying for scraps rather than quality barbecue. The brisket was particularly bad--tough, greasy, and lacking the flavor you expect from properly prepared BBQ. And the old fashioned was downright terrible. It tasted poorly made and nothing like a good old fashioned should taste. It was honestly hard to drink so I sent it back and who makes an old fashion with cocktail cherries ?? Overall, this was a huge letdown from start to finish. Poor-quality meat, excessive fat, disappointing flavor, and a terrible drink. For what they charge, there's absolutely no excuse for food and drinks this bad. I definitely won't be coming back, and based on this experience, I'd have a hard time recommending this place to anyone, gross....
