I don't like the avocado in it because it is too thick so I replace it with flaxseeds instead for some good omega threes This is a great location because clearly there is nobody here this morning and I can have some alone time to myself. Nice and peaceful without loud customers to worry about. You wouldn't know there was a tropical smoothie here unless u lived close by because for some reason it didn't pick up on yelp. It's off of mount pleasant Rd. I come here to study sometime. They are nice and clean and they have so many table selections to choose from. Music here is entertaining while eating meals. A little bit of the radio to get your morning mood energized. Music that's currently playing is by echosmith "Cool kids." Customer service is fast and friendly. It must be nice for the girl working here by herself. With a slow day like today, lucky for her, she has the chance to sit down and take a break. The breakfast southwest wrap is perfect! I love the chipotle mayo with the eggs, grilled chicken, pepper jack, tomatoes, spinach in a toasted flour tortilla. Ordered in person to go. Ready in reasonable time. Got home, order wrong, missing half of the food. Went back. Same solo front of house person. About 6 people waiting to order. Asked for manager. 5 min later, told none there. Asked for refund or make right. Can't, have to wait for manager. Now 8 people waiting to order. Left, consider that a donation to failing business. Mistakes happen. But to not even try to make it right is a sign of a terrible place to spend, or earn money. Recommend finding somewhere else. read more

Located in the Kroger shopping, roughly between AJ gators and Kroger. I like this location because it never seems to be too crowded and the staff is friendly. I usually go in the morning during Happy Hour on weekdays because it's $1 off smoothies from 7-9am M-F. There's usually only one person working at this time and I'm pretty sure it's the owner. He is very nice and keeps his store clean. I'm glad this location has stayed in the shopping center for so long. It is so close to my house and it's a healthy option for a meal. read more

We are no longer going to be using this location for in store or door dash delivery purposes. The Caribbean jerk chicken bowl was not at all what we paid for. It was the size of a child's order. There was no extra chicken worth $2.00. There were three more pieces of chicken at best. This is the third time with this particular store we have had this issue. I called the store to let them know what was going on. I was told there was no manager for that location. The crew was not professional, patronizing in behavior and did not offer us a solution. read more

Smoothies are on point and the food is amazingly good for fast casual. Each menu item has just the right amount of everything. Smoothies? Try them all. They all have their upsides. Some of the indulgent smoothies even have chocolate in them! Tip: If you have whey protein added to your smoothie, ask to have the leftover put in a separate cup. Whey Protein always yields more than 24oz (the size of the normal smoothie cup) and many of the workers will gladly give you the extra. The Kale Apple salad is surprisingly delicious. Go for it over a bag of chips. You can have chips anytime! Store closed down for a period of time due to the previous owner/manager leaving. New owners purchased the business, remodeled the entire shop and re-opened the store in Feb 2016. The only downside with the remodel is that they removed the soda and ice machines. No fountain drinks anymore, but you can purchase 20oz bottles of soda (coke-products only). read more

The people that work in this location are super friendly. The food is fresh, and the smoothies are great. Yeah, I know that pretty much everything is loaded with calories, so I don't eat there much, but my teenager loves it. They have a nice app and rewards program too. read more

COVID 19 -Where are the gloves? Everyone who touches your food should have on gloves. When you hand a customer a drink, you should have on gloves. During a visit, I witnessed an employee either beginning a shift or coming from a brake. She entered the door and did not wash her hands after using the nasty door handle. Next, she went straight to the register handling peoples purchase. I visit this store about twice a week and always get the same thing. I have ordered this same smoothie around the United States and knows how it taste and know when ingredients are missing. Never once had a problem. Several months ago, I ordered a smoothie and after pulling off I realized something was seriously wrong with my smoothie. I did ask for a free one. On two other occasions, I ordered my smoothie and had the same problem. I ask for the manager (person) young female there in the evening who is in the back making food. I informed her my smoothie was not made correctly. Instead of fixing it herself, she had the same person who fixed it wrong fix it again with the same result. The manager did not even monitor the girl making the smoothie. Instead, she said the ingredients were posted so the smoothie maker could not have possibly gotten it wrong. The manager went on to say that it must be me and just stood there looking at me as if I was crazy. She refused to take any other steps to help the customer. This was extremely poor customer service, rude, and unacceptable. It could be something as simple as not knowing the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon especially if abbreviated. Both the manager and the employee need additional training. The manager should know better than to tell the customer you have a problem. It is a good thing there are many other locations and I do not have to go there again. When you leave children in charge and expect them to make adult decisions, this is what happens. read more

Overall I really like coming here - good selection of smoothies, food is surprisingly good and healthy, and prices are fair. I'm a big fan of the Detox Island Green and Health Nut smoothies as well as the Caribbean Bowl. My son loves the Peanut Butter Banana Crunch wrap. The only complaint is that, unless the owner is there, the service is incredibly slow. I've been there when it's busy and when business is slow with as many as 3 employees working...same result. It seems to always take 15-20 minutes to get my to go order (typically a smoothie and a wrap or bowl). If you have time on your hands I highly recommend grabbing a bite or smoothie here. read more

I asked many questions about the food, the cashier was very polite and gave me her recommendations. The girls on that shift were both very polite and knowledgeable even the cashier who was training. It does take some time for them to get everything ready, but those who work here were very polite and helpful. The food was prepared fresh and the smoothies were refreshing. Most of the employees are nice, but the owner/operator is just plain rude. I have started driving to the Tropical Smoothie on Battlefield Blvd. instead of this one because of her behavior. My 4-year-old asked me during our last visit, "Why was that lady so mean?" I noticed some things that didn't seem sanitary, and a quick search on the Health Dept. website led me to find a number of CRITICAL repeat violations for this location, including food not discarded by it's expiration date, food being uncovered, and cold food not being kept at proper temps.
