The soup was tasty, and the sandwich was pretty good- a little too much turkey for my taste. My husband had the mushroom peppercorn steak. It was cooked well, and he enjoyed the peppercorn sauce. One person had the steak salad. She said it was good, not great. The salad was served with large leaves of lettuce (she had to cut them up) and steak. She mentioned that she wished there was a little more to the salad- it was just the lettuce and steak. The last person in our party had the green chile chicken pasta. She liked it. Overall, our experience was good. I would say Tula's is fair. It's nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad.

They do have a very nice patio but I was eating inside in lieu of out in the 95 degree heat and flies. (See pic) I ordered their wonderful Reuben w Caesar side and ate it with the fan shooing the flies while I ate inside. Seriously!! I did let her know the homemade croutons were stale and tough and not very edible. Service, food and drinks here are always very good and polite. I'll be back but not when the outside summer flies are taking over.

Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres…read more We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.

By mistake, we got there 30 minutes early but were able to order a drink and walk the property along garden paths and discovered they had garden rooms that you could reserve for large parties. After we were sat with the other guests and the guest of honor, our awesome waiter explained how their food was sourced and a bit of history of the place for our friends that weren't familiar with the restaurant. There were vegetarians and a vegan diners amongst us so he explained all his favorite vegetarian dinners and also how they could alter the meal to make it vegan. EVERYONE was happy with their meals. My entree was their Mongolian Beef prepared and served in an extremely creative presentation which was absolutely delicious! Others had: mezze platters with and without the lamb, the Cavatelli pasta dish, shishito pepper appetizer, All quite delicious! Amongst the desserts ordered I had the basil, blackberry sorbet (if I recall correctly) which was refreshingly tasty! The whole evening was wonderful! The food! The company! But special kudos and thanks to the restaurant and staff at Farm and Table for helping make it a very memorable evening!

The weather permitted use to sit outside in the comforting blanket of mild sun shine. Service was slow and it took some time for someone to initially come to our table. I heard a few tables being offered to tour the area where some of the plants were being grown which was nice. That option was not extended to our table. The menu had a few vegetarian options that looked promising. I ordered barramundi and my wife ordered cavatelli which is a type of pasta. Complementary bread was brought out that tasted good but had too much salt on the crust. I didn't know but eventually found out that barramundi is a type of Asian sea bass. It was plated with a good amount of vegetables, but I found it to be bot a flavorful as I would have liked. I tasted the cavatelli and was not impressed either by the flavors. The drink section of the menu is a little confusing and we ended up with a grapefruit rosemary kombucha. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing but I think the entrees were a bit over priced for what we received.

We returned to Vintage after several years, expecting a solid experience, but left disappointed…read more The beet salad was particularly underwhelming. The portion of beets was minimal, cut into very small pieces, and lacked any noticeable seasoning or marinade. The dish was dominated by large, bitter arugula leaves rather than a balanced mix, with very little cheese and no nuts as expected. The overall flavor was flat, with an odd emphasis on dried fruit that didn't help the dish. The quinoa salad was similarly unbalanced, consisting mostly of plain, unseasoned quinoa with very little else. Adding chicken helped slightly, and it was at least moist, but it had very little flavor. Table service in the bar area appeared stretched thin. We had to flag down our server to clear the table and request the check. After receiving the bill, we waited about 15 minutes before ultimately getting up to find her. The ambiance was very nice, which brings this to 2 stars. If not for that and the clean bathrooms, this would have been a 1-star experience.

A customized specialty drink was a thoughtful touch, and the cheesecake was a terrific finish. I was in town from Denver visiting for my nephew's graduation. We had reservations for a Friday…read moreevening. When we walked onto the patio and took in those sweeping views of the Sandias, I was ready to love this place. Los Poblanos has all the ingredients of a truly special dining experience: a gorgeous setting, a thoughtful farm-to-table ethos, and a menu that promises something above the ordinary. Which is exactly why the evening's annoying missteps were so disappointing. Service was well intentioned but unpolished. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and, at times, unfamiliar with the menu -- a problem when guests are asking genuine questions about the food and wine. We ordered bread which came before our drinks were served. Wine service was inconsistent. I ordered an Albariño by the glass - 6 oz. My sister ordered the Cabernet listed on the menu as a recommended pairing for her entrée, priced at $11. After we placed our drink orders, the waiter returned to inform her that the menu price was incorrect -- the wine was actually $18. She agreed to proceed. He then asked whether she wanted "a half glass or a full glass," which is an oddly imprecise question at a restaurant whose menu specifies pours in 3, 6, and 9 oz increments. She said half glass. What arrived was 3 oz of wine in a small serving carafe, which the waiter simply poured into her glass -- no bottle presented, no taste offered. My own Albariño, by contrast, was brought to the table in the bottle with a proper taste before pouring. The disparity in service between the two of us was striking. A simple, clear statement -- "3 oz of this wine is $18, not $11; would you still like it?" -- would have resolved everything cleanly. Instead, the vague "half or full glass" framing left my sister without the information she needed to make an informed choice. For what it's worth, the wine itself was extraordinarily tannic -- borderline undrinkable -- and I would have sent it back. My nephew ordered a top shelf whiskey. The waiter told him "we don't have that". My nephew said "it's on your menu" to which the waiter responded "oh, let me check on that". There seemed to be too many instances of the waiter running back to the bar to check on stuff. Anyway, it was available. The waiter apologized. We ordered the bread which was served before our drinks arrived. Food took about an hour which is fine - I don't have an issue with that but during that time we never saw the waiter again. I ordered the soup of the day - potato and leek which was delicious. Followed by the blackberry salad, which was my main course. Both arrived simultaneously, with the salad placed in front of me and the soup set to the side as an afterthought. At a restaurant at this price point, the expectation that soup precedes salad is not an eccentricity -- it is simply correct service. When I expressed my surprise, the servers seemed genuinely puzzled, which suggests this may be a training gap rather than an isolated incident. As for the salad itself -- it was pleasant, but pleasant is not enough here. The blackberry salad was the kind of thing you might enjoy at a well-run casual chain: competently assembled, inoffensive, and forgettable. At a farm-to-table restaurant with access to exceptional local ingredients, I expect the plate to reflect that -- more intentional presentation, more layered flavors, something that is more elevated than what was presented. This one didn't. The gap between the setting and what landed on the table was wider than it should have been. My sister and nephews ordered the filet mignon and rib eye. Both arrived pre-sliced -- a presentation trend that has made its way into fine dining, though one that divides opinion. My concern, beyond personal preference, is practical: sliced meat loses heat faster, and at roughly $80 per entrée, guests should receive their steak in the condition that best showcases it. The quality was good, not exceptional. Los Poblanos is a restaurant with genuine promise and a setting that few can match. The concept is right; the execution needs work. The issues I encountered -- inconsistent wine service, course sequencing, and a discombobulated waiter-- are not kitchen problems. They are fixable. I hope the restaurant takes that seriously, because the bones here are excellent and the experience should be too.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. My other friend got the steak kabobs and she loved her also. The service was decent. We did sit for about 30 minutes at one point before ordering and we were already a bit behind schedule in trying to get out for a play at Albuquerque Little Theater. We let our server know and he didn't really help us out much. We got to our play on time, but barely. He also seemed annoyed at us for letting him know we needed to get out of there. He actually seemed annoyed about a few different things. I've had other servers there that are much kinder and more patient. He knows his food, but he is not the kindest. I do want to check out the little bar area they just opened. It looks more relaxed.
