Just finished remodeling my home. We came buy to purchase flooring for our upstairs bedrooms and hallways. First thing you notice upon walking into their showroom floor was the vast selections of styles and finishes. After what seemed like ages of searching for the color we wanted at large hardware stores we found exactly what we wanted on our first visit to Tropical flooring. The customer service representatives were very helpful without making you feel like they were "selling you" on a product. The pricing was very reasonable and the quality was better than what you see from the big box hardware stores. All different style of wood flooring!! I have to say, this place is easy on the pocketbook :)) We were looking for laminated hardwood and were given a lot of choices and options. The prices range from .85 a sq ft. and up. They also carry the waterproof laminated hardwood for areas that comes in contact with water. I might consider it due to the fact that my kids would be coming inside the house from the pool. I was definitely confused as to what to pick because there were so many choices, colors, styles. The staff are very helpful and patiently explaining which is which and gives you time to browse and ask questions. Great price, great service. Got my deposit down :)) read more

we were remodeling our house back in 2018 and one of the items we're changing was the floor. We were introduced to several flooring stores, however, the only one that stood out and impressed us the most was Tropical Flooring. Tropical did a step further by explaining the pros and cons of each flooring category and collection. Unlike the sales guys from the other stores that I worked with, their sales guy was very friendly, eager to help and listening to our needs and made some recommendations of what would work best for our house. I was drawn to this store because of the knowledgeable customer service and friendliness. I later found out their price was very competitive and my designer was very happy with their wide selection of choices of hardwood, engineering, laminate, vinyl etc. We ended up choosing the solid Manchuria walnut and it had been over 5 years and the wood floors still look new, durable and easily maintained. Not a great company in the long run. They were very helpful initially with our order. However, we ran into problems on the installation and the paint removing easily. Also, some of the tongues were reversed. Fortunately we used those in a closet. They sent out this old man to do an inspection and he didn't even inspect the correct wood. He inspected wood installed 10 years ago instead of the new stuff we just ordered. Wouldn't listen when we tried to tell him. When we tried to call the main office to explain they wouldn't listen either and just hung up on us. Poor quality product. We wish now we had just removed the old product and started new with a better wood and more reputable company. read more

I do a lot of flooring jobs for apartments in LA and residential areas. There guys have great, great prices!!!! I"m getting my click-in 4 mm vinyl at almost 1/2 the cost of Home Depot! They really have all types of flooring products: wood, engineered, laminate and vinyl. But with the wide selection and great prices, you can't go wrong! So many selection to choose from. In fact, it confused me with all the "types" (engineered? wpc?).. but thankfully the office staff provided satisfying explanations, along with the expected price range, durability, usage, etc. So the hardest thing left for me is to choose which one to buy.
