I had a little squeak in my 911 and brought it in to them about 9 o'clock in the morning - - by 2 o'clock the car was done - - it didn't need any brake work but they discovered the belt tensioner needed replacing so they did that very quickly. Purchased a 06 Turbo S Cayenne that I knew needed some additional repairs from my neighbor. Last item was some front suspension work. I did not really think, "feel" what I would call a noticeable issue with the front suspension but what a difference when the work was completed. I talked with Todd about whether it was really needed or not at this time as I did not "feel" there was much of a problem. He said it could wait if I wanted. Well you don't know what you don't know. I certainly noticed the difference after the work was completed, feels like I am driving a brand new vehicle. Sold my 05 911 Turbo S private party that Todd and his team serviced for me over the 8+ years I owned it. Out of state buyer arranged a PPI from another Indy in Las Vegas. Only issue found " tires were old" LOL. Got my asking price and it was driven back to Utah top down by his wife. Todd, Brandon along with the other mechanics are top notch professionals. Highly recommend if you have a Porsche for both routine scheduled service ( quite a bit less than a dealer charges) or any needed repairs should they arise. read more

Quick update: Moved from Vegas over a year ago after 18 months of unfortunately getting to see Todd more than I preferred (own a high-mileage Audi A8 with an air suspension, a 2006 daily driver 911 and a sister-in-law with a 2007 VW Beetle that never changes her oil and you become very familiar with your mechanic!). The level of personal, professional service and quality of repair work was always top-notch. But just to give you an idea of what kind of guy Todd is: we recently blew an air shock that Todd had replaced over a year ago on our Audi. Even though we're half-way across the country now, I called him up asking for advice and he dug up the original work order, confirmed the part was covered under warranty, and offered to replace the part through his distributor. Took in a Porsche Carrera 4S for wheel alignment. Planned on having it setup for a more track day configuration. The facilities are clean, give off a professional vibe but a little laid back. Waiting area nicely configured, TV, selection of magazines if you are going to wait (I did). Explained what I wanted to service rep, she took copious notes. She gave me cost and time estimate, which was also stated when I made the appointment. Also I arrived at appointed time for the service and they did not keep me waiting. In the waiting room the mechanic came out to go over what I wanted, explained there were trade offs depending on how aggressive I wanted settings to be. Provided a good explanation of what to expect. Car done close to estimated time. Cost was as expected. Especially nice that there was no dirt in the car, grease on steering wheel, etc. They made the effort to keep the interior protected when moving car. Overall good experience, no hesitation about using again and I don't give 5 stars lightly. Genuinely pleasant. read more

I have been going to Trophy Performance for over a year now with both my Porsche vehicles, and every time I go it feels like family. I recently had a break down out of town and I spoke to Todd just before his closing and I told him that my check engine light was on. I took it to a dealer and as the service tech at the dealer was talking to me, Todd was checking to make sure that what the tech was saying was correct. But what I really thought was special was the fact that he called me back to make sure I was ok and that I was being taken care of ,and that I wasn't be overcharged. I had sent them 2 of my Porsches in the past couple of years for regular oil changes and routine maintenance, and I always thought they were very expensive. Probably more so than the dealer but I thought I would give them another chance. This time I get there with my car in desperate need of a new clutch and the owner Todd simply refused to take the car because I had no appointment. He then quoted me a ridiculous fee for the parts which I can get for one third myself. Seriously? Let a customer leave with a disabled car? A returning customer? That was it for me, I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have had Todd and his team do everything from simple oil changes to building a custom Porsche race car for me. Todd is one of those people that no matter your need he gives it 110%. I was referred to Todd Trimble at Trophy Performance for an average problem in an average vehicle. When I pulled in the parking lot and saw the variety of vehicles in the the parking lot they were working on my jaw dropped! There was a 1930 or 40 Rolls Royce alongside a lot of Porsches and several more auto varieties - I was somewhat apprehensive if my average vehicle would "fit in." Well gladly I did "fit in" by the friendliest most knowledgeable staff. It is obvious they all love what they do. The problem was quickly diagnosed and repaired at a fair price. Let me just say that this review is part one of 2. I have a hard time trusting the auto industry. Let's face it, even at dealers and highly recommended shops we should be a bit concerned of being taken for as ride (no pun intended). I recently went in and met with Todd. From top to bottom I just got a comfortable feeling from him. He took me out and we went under my car. (This is not done at many places) and I for one really respect it. We looked at the issues I asked him to inspect for me. We went over several outcomes, a few I am o.k. with and one that I am not o.k. with. We went over the options surrounding the one I am not o.k. with. Bottom line, He didn't charge me a nickel, he was on time for his appointment with me, and I left feeling comfortable. Tomorrow I go in for another appointment and I am aware of what I am looking at and what several outcomes may be. Feeling great about this relationship so far. I've known Todd Trimble since 2002 when he was the lead Master Tech at Gaudin Porsche, and Todd was the most positive part of my customer service experience there. If Todd knew I was at the dealership for service or a car purchase, he would come find me and provide whatever guidance or knowledge he could. He has quite a loyal following in Las Vegas because he treats every one of his customers this way. Now that Todd has opened Trophy Performance he is even more accessible, and I have been seeing all kinds of cars other than Porsches at his shop (Ferrari's, Lambo's, collector cars, etc.). Trophy's rates may be lower than the Porsche dealership's, but I would be willing to pay more for the extra time, attention, honesty, and service you get here. If you are not already a customer, this could be one of the best discoveries you will make this year. read more
