Called with my boiler/furnace not firing up and an unlisted code showing on the control panel! Mike came out first thing the next morning to diagnose the issue which him telling me his slogan was to "keep it simple" & I have to say he did make it look simple getting the boiler to fire up within 5 mins of arriving & also removing a bit of stress by quickly letting me know that the issue was confined to between the thermostat & the wire from it leading to the control panel. That meant that the issue was not the control panel itself or any of the components that are wired after the panel! Those items being everything in the boiler/furnace so it was a relief to hear that right away. After checking the thermostat was working Mike was able to quickly trace the wires identifying the damaged wire which was quickly & easily replaced & had the boiler running smoothly again. Total time taken was 1 hr. & the cost was reasonable. This was our first time using trolley crossing & we would call on them for help again if needed 100% . There is nothing negative to be said. Having worked with many trades people in the past I understand the various situations that can arise with such things as schedules, unforeseen situations or/and unforeseen costs. Mike and Tom from Trolley Crossing did an excellent job on all accounts and both are quite in tune not only from a technical know how but also to the overall aesthetics of the project. In the process of installing the exterior portion of the project they determined that there was a way to improve on how it would look and so they took additional time probably a few extra hours to head back to the supply store to get the needed parts. It is so difficult to find a contractor these days that will do what they say they will do - Mike and Tom did just that. Tom and the team at Trolley Crossing completed a 20*16 deck on the second floor rear of our house with a walk out basement. The way they fit the deck on the land (it was not straightforward) was exactly what we had envisioned. Mike and Tom were excellent! Our old boiler which had a minor leak decided it was finally time to give way. Trolley Crossing was able to locate and obtain the new boiler, remove the old, and install the new within 2 days from start to finish. As part of the proposed work they also replaced other old system parts and minimized the relocation of existing system piping. There are things that go bump in the night! as in our case the furnace. We had no heat ad the temperature was droping fast. We called Trolley Crissing Contracting and they came right over.
