The place is marketed at "luxurious" prices but once that contract is signed it is anything but luxurious! STAY AWAY!!

The first time I had the pleasure of the person who was going to show me this place fight with her BF on the phone... The second time they couldn't find the key so I had driven an hour and a half to see NOTHING. If you work at DHMC, call HR and they will get you free access to a housing website, they are awesome. It's like pulling teeth to get these people to do anything. Had to practically beg her to get in touch with the unit owner who's tenant is smoking cigarettes and getting all over my clothes and everything I own by coming through the vents, electrical sockets, Under the doors. The unit costs just under $2000 a month and I'm living inside of a burnt cigarette. Not to mention the heat was having issues this entire past winter in multiple units. If it wasn't running uncontrollably hot then it just wasn't working at all. No one wants to do anything about anything here. They allow dogs to crap all over the property and they don't do anything about it. Most complexes make you give a dna sample from your dog before you move in. It's a disgusting business. I'm most upset about the lack of communication over the entire last year. There's also plenty of needles laying around for the kiddos to pick up and play with bc they don't care to make sure their property is clean. Finally after a year they managed to get someone out here to get the wasps nest taken down. Didn't bother to inform any of us of where to pick up our mail or any news that we won't be receiving it until they get new mail boxes. Sitting here waiting for important documents in the mail for over a week and only found out because of a neighbor.

Maintenance would show up unannounced and enter and then proceed to yell at us to lock our dogs up. If they had given notice of their arrival (as legally required to do so) the dogs would have been secured before they entered. This happened on multiple occasions and when brought up to them they would tell us how they were "so sorry" and "this will never happen again" only for it to happen many more times. Additionally we had a serious mold issue in the house. We tried contacting them many times (phone calls, emails to the manager, emails to the main info email after getting no response) and they kept brushing us off. Telling us if there was mold it was because we weren't running the dehumidifier as per our lease. We actually had gone out and bought 2 additional dehumidifier's and had them running 24/7 and the mold was still growing everywhere. They only came in and took action after we called the town in for an inspection and the town found many other violations around the house. And the only "action" they took was to paint over the mold. We ended up having to throw out most of our belongings when we moved out due to the mold contamination. Crazy how many health issues started after we moved in and cleared up after we moved out. Lastly we had 2 occasions where they "lost" our rent payment and tried to say we never paid and were late on rent when we had proof of the rent being received by them. When we furnished proof they magically found the missing payments. On top of all of that rent is outrageous but that is a problem all around the upper valley, but when you add in all the problems with the house we rented, rent should NOT have been that expensive.

The workers were all very professional and warm, on schedule, and did a solid B+/A- job of cleaning - vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Clear out was also fine. However, one side of a sliding pocket door was knocked off its hanging rail by the cleaners (it's never had an issue in 30+ years). I think they may have opened it too far when sliding open. When I noticed it before they left, they acknowledged it happened. Later, following up through our realtor, Relax & Co refused to accept responsibility or to fix it. Relax & Co never reached out to me directly to try to remedy the problem. If you break something while working on my property, that should be your responsibility to fix. Their workers were fine, but I would not trust this company at the management level to hire them again.

She was very upfront about her practices, and explained everything in the lease, and to me in person, and was available whenever I needed her. In my apartment, she provided high speed _fiber_ network interconnects included in the rent. She had the network cable ran from boston for her properties. How amazing is that!? She had the place fully furnished and cleaned before and after renting. When we moved in, I wanted to add a dishwasher to the unit, so she got it installed. We only had wireless access ot the faster internet, and we got a cable run up from the basement. Later, I wanted a washer and dryer, and she even had that installed. This required removing a wall in the kitchen and expanding the unit which was on the third floor. I've seen jolin around town and she has always been cordial and nice, and we have even had a few meals together. Who eats with there landlady!?! In reading the other remarks below, I cannot imagine why people would say anything negative. If I moved back to Hanover and needed an apartment, I would rent from her again in a heartbeat.
