This place is the worst. If I could give zero stars, I would. Tom at the service desk is not helpful at passed looking on a calendar to find an open date for service. The parts guy is completely incompetent. Honestly, this is the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of dealership or service station. I will travel an hour out of my way to avoid going back there. They are not interested in making the customer happy, they just want your money. read more

I bought a Triumph T120 from this dealer and I was very satisfied. The service department was less satisfying and expensive.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my motorcycle at Triumph Metuchen. I worked with Randy, who sold me my Triumph Street Twin. The sales experience was completely painless and it was nice to have a guy chat bikes me with me like I hadn't just stumbled into the shop. It was after I bought the bike that things got real. To make a long story short, after having the bike for about 400 miles, the gas gauge stopped working and then the check engine light came on. I called the shop, brought it all the way back to New Jersey (Triumph Manhattan wanted to make me wait weeks for an appointment bc I hadn't purchased the bike there). I told them the gas gauge wasn't working and the check engine light was on. They told me the bike needed the entire wiring harness changed, even thought it was a brand new vehicle. They had my bike for OVER A MONTH during prime riding season. It wasn't until I threatened to file a lemon complaint against the vehicle that suddenly the wiring harness made it from England. Very kindly of them (since they had the bike for 5 weeks), they dropped it off in Brooklyn when it was done. Only problem was, the gas gauge still didn't work. I called and called and called and it took at least three phone calls to get service to call me back - they didn't want to hear from me anymore. I was told to ride it more, to ride it on the highway, etc. Anything to prevent them from coming to get it again. I was told they would call me within the next 2 weeks as to when they could come get it again. No phone call came. I stupidly decided to give them one last chance and rode the bike out to New Jersey to be repaired again. I was told they would bring it back to me in Brooklyn, seeing as THEY HAD THE BIKE FOR FIVE WEEKS AND NEVER ADDRESSED THE FUEL GAUGE ISSUE. It has been two weeks. I still don't have my bike. As nice as their salespeople are, their service department is a night mare. read more

I feel really bad to write a bad review based on one visit or one experience but man let me tell you..my one and probably the only visit to this place was very weird, rude. Terrible! let's start by saying - I went there to buy a bike, money in pocket ..looked up thier inventory on thier website, find this 2020 Triumph Bonne boober carbon black TFC with the union Jack on the tank..for $17K and some change - exactly what I was looking for...hooked my trailer and drove all the way from PA - 97 miles, to the fucking wrong address (not Google map or wase had the right address) drove around for a over 25 min looking for it..anyway found it, got in..walk around for 15 min, checking the bikes (all bobbers have don't sit sign)..so after 15 min with no one approach me..I went to one of the sales person and said "I'd like to buy the bike so I realy like to sit on it first to feel how it is". the guy didn't answer and pointed on his phone - he was talking with someone..I apologized and wait for him to finish. 5 min later he waved me to come over(didn't left his desk and come to me- as he should) I went over told him again what I'm there for. first thing he said was - "do you know how much this bike cost"? I said "yes, $17K, and I'm here to buy it..he pointed on a different one and said, "this one is little bit less" why he said that?? I can't tell..I answered " ok but I came for this bike..and I really want to sit on it before we moving forward with the deal..he replied "you know how much it costs?" I said yes I just told you $17K and then I added "I checked your website before I came" (no picture of the bike on thier site, but I knew exactly how it looks) anyway..long story short..he treated me like I was wasting his time. I thought to myself Fuck him..I want the bike so who care..but then thinking more about it..if this is how they treat you during the sale..what would happen later..after the deal is over..if I'll need a service or help with breakdown or mayby warranty, parts? Finally the guy said.." OK we'll let you sit on the bike, but you must empty your pockets (so that nothing can scratch ot dent the bike) - believe me - if he started with that..I could understand..but this came after he was treating me like shit..I had enough..Fuck it..and I left! Just for the record. I'm riding a big 2018 indian chiften - $27k..the triumph is expensive bike but not out of my reach..profileing / treating people based on thier looks / dressed..Is wrong..I was very polite, apologize when interrupted his phone call..didnt dare sitting on the bike without asking..didn't answer back or trying to look like big shot..jus ambled walk through quality (with mask) and waiting for service..I'm not saying "don't go there"..maybe call first..? Who knows what is the right thing to do.or maybe they need to train thier employees? Hope I find this exact bike somewhere close (driving) - I'll keep looking..but not going back to this place! read more

Contacted the service department for my 2006 rocket 3. I was informed that the bike is too old and they will not work on it. In oct 2017 they replaced the fuel pump. It took them 2 months to do that. read more

Called three times with no answer at the service dept. Left a message as instructed to schedule an appointment and never received a phone call back. My last Triumph dealership burned to the ground with my bike inside. I'm not having good luck with Triumph dealers. I'd service it myself it it weren't for the bike being computerized. read more

The sales experience was mediocre at best. Don't even expect to be greeted with a hello when you come back. Once they have taken your money, no one recognizes you. Even as a simple courtesy, a greeting does not exist. Each time I return for service, I am amazed how no one speaks to me? Today, I saw a sales guy pushing a super powerful bike on a kid who needed his Mom to co-sign and I overheard him mention if he could pay over 60 months. Yet, one has to really work at buying accessories and clothing, the gal there could have stayed home as she cared the least. The service is catastrophic as it seems that there is only one mechanic left in the entire place. I won't even mention the scheduling... If you intend on buying a BMW, Triumph or anything there, just find a better place, even if you have to drive a bit. Let competition act and teach these garages a lesson that they won't survive without service to their customers! read more

I'm not a customer per se, but I recently shipped my Triumph across the country and needed a dealership where the driver could pick it up. Matt at Triumph Metuchen helped me out, storing the bike for three days and coordinating everything with the driver. He didn't even charge me. Would definitely go see these guys for repairs/purchases in the future. read more

I recently bought a Triumph Street Twin from Lanny at Triumph Metuchen and my experience was excellent. The sales person even communicated with me about my bike on his days off and made sure that all of my questions were answered promptly. The sales and service staff bent over backwards to make sure that I could line up a test ride and the sales process itself was as easy as it gets. I should say that I recently had a BMW serviced at the same dealership and also received excellent service. In contrast the other reviews, I was always greeted and asked if I could be helped by the staff. read more
