Took my waverunner(with low hours) there because it was making a noise while running. They told me that the last person who changed the oil overfilled it and blew the motor. I knew the correct amount of oil was used and this couldn't be true. I picked the waverunner up, had to pay the diagnostic fee and then took it to R Rated Performance. They found the issue was not a blown motor but the pump bearing...and the correct amount of oil was used. When I told the manager of Sport Honda, he refused to refund the diagnostic charge! I believe they lied to try and get me to replace the motor and I would NOT trust this place! read more

Never buy a motorcycle here . The sales staff is nice enough, however they do not have titles for the vehicles they sell. The sales person will tell you "it will take a few days" for your title to come in. It does not . You will have to hire (and pay) an attorney to get paperwork you pay for. The service department (at lease for Honda) is awful. They damaged the radio on my new Goldwing and refused to fix it. Luckily I had a warranty and went to another Honda dealership to get it fixed . They should have their dealer license removed . read more

Horrible experience! In November 2021 I noticed a fuel leak, had to tow the bike. After a few days I picked up the bike from Honda service, drove home, all good at this time. I was instructed to burn all the gas out of the carburetors for the wintertime if I'm not going to use the bike and this is exactly what I did. I did not use the bike for entire year since the weather was too hot for me. Some time ago I decided to go for a ride, started up to find out gas leaking all over. Stopped by the Honda service personally, explaining what happen and I was told by Mr. "T.H." that he will call me back with a suggestion that I just need to "tap the carburetors with a screwdriver". No call back........, after two days I called myself and I was told again that he will call me back which never happen. After 4 days, I called back again and I was told that I will have to pay for towing and they will charge me again for the same job. $500 DOWN THE DRAIN. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. What a disappointment!!! At least I know what to do when I have a headache....I will tap my head with a screwdriver!!!! I wish I could give these guys a good review but I cant. I went there to have my 2003 450es serviced and they told me they could have it done including a full diognostic test done by the end of the next day. This was really important to me b.c I was going away with my ATV for the weekend and needed it no later than that night.(end of the second day) The young tech (not very friendly at all with poor attitude) told me he could have it done by 3pm the next day and I could come and pick it up. Of course this was too good to be true. I called the next morning to see if it would be done any earlier than 3pm so I didnt have to battle rush hour traffic and he said that he hasnt even started working on it yet! The ATV had been there or over 24 hours at this point and there was no work done at all. I then got upset and told him that he promised me by 3pm and was wondering if that was still true. He then said there are other bikes in the shop that need to be done before mine (told me the day before i was the only bike they had to work on) and it wont be done until Saturday morning at the earliest! (this would mean they would have the ATV for 3 days) I told him dont bother and i was coming to pick it up right now. It takes me an hour to get to Sport Honda nd by the time i got there he had changed the oil and that was it. When I went to settle this issue with him he acted like he did not see me and acted busy and had someone else do my paperwork and hand over my bike. I then went to talk to the service manager (of course was not in) so I got his card from another guy in the office and called him and left him a long voicemail about this. It took him 3 days to return my call and whn he did I was in a meeting and couldnt answer. I called several other times but he never returned my calls or answered my calls. Overall I am very upset with this dealer. They are a very large dealer with a nice facility but very poor management and a ATV techs. The only reason I am givng this 2 stars rather than 1 is because of the nice people on the showroom floor. I will never bring my ATV back here. read more

I have been extremely badly treated here. I purchased a new Honda NT700V ABS here in 2011. Since then I only had it serviced in this business, every regular service in time or ahead of time. The product they sold is quite poor quality and so is their maintenance job. I chose to pay more because I use my bike as a primary form of transportation and I needed reliability. The electric system failed early (police pulled me over with no rear light only a few month after the purchase), the plastic panels age under the sun so quickly so that after 2.5 years it Iooks years older, certain metal parts started rusting only after a few month. Few hundred miles after the $600 16000-mile full check my bike stopped on the Turnpike @ 65MPH under me. They take no responsibility, because the report did not show any signs before (even though I already paid $300 for a similar issue this Spring). Well, what diagnosis are they doing that can't detect the bike is close to a major breakdown? I left almost $20000 at this company (including apparel) and after less then 3 seasons and regular maintenance I have no bike to use. I do not recommend them to anyone! read more

Extremely/unbelievably expensive. However I am a person that doesn't mind paying for quality. Unfortunately they lack in that department too. I got a spare key done by them and when I received it 40 minutes later, the mechanic or whoever did my spare key, did not bother to remove the metal shavings which takes about 5seconds to do. Also most of their staff are comprised of a bunch of smartasses who think they know everything and can be rude frequently. I ordered a service manual and when I came to pick it up, all the corners were bent and from the way the staff member just threw/slapped it on the desk I could definitely tell where the damage may have came from. Lastly I have also experienced being hung up on many times. It is highly likely that these 5star reviews came from their staff. I sometimes see their staff on motorcycle forums advertising their own store. read more

I am very pleased on the service I've received at Sport's Honda. I purchased a Seadoo "Wake" jet ski, it's an awesome machine. About a month or so after the purchase, the machine appeared to stop working. I called Henry Martinez and explained the situation, and also my timing concerns because I had family coming from out of state and planned a whole weekend of water sports. Sport's Honda sent over a truck, towed it to their shop. It wound up that there was a blockage in the intake. It was totally my fault, I had been jet skiing in a very rocky area. They cleared it out and towed it back in time for the weekend. Best part "NO CHARGE", gratis...and some simple advice; be careful where you ski. This weekend jet skied up to the Statue of Liberty and went to lunch on the water in Jersey City. Looking forward to more Jet Ski adventures! read more

Sad to say I bought one of my bikes here in 2012. I don't foresee myself ever walking through their doors again. I purchased a battery about a month and a half ago, brought it home, charged it and still couldn't get it to start after spending 162 for this battery. After a week of trying different things brought the battery back in frustration and was told they've been hearing that with this batch. I asked for another battery to be load tested first before I take it home. I was assured it passed and I was good to go. Again spent time with it as the bike would not start, ordered a relay assuming they knew what they were talking about. The relay did not fix the issue so before getting a starter, I had a mechanic to the house to run the same tests I did to tell me the same thing, it's the battery. I brought the battery back, explained my frustration and that now I was out a relay and costs of the mechanic and still at square 1. I was told "sorry" as I was credited my money back for the battery. Went to another place and got a battery and the bike turned right over. Their handling of this 5 year customer ensures I will never step foot in that place again. read more

I'm not officially a customer, but I recently shipped my bike cross-country and needed a dealership where the truck driver could pick it up. Matt at Sport Honda did me a huge solid, storing the bike for three days and coordinating everything with the driver. He didn't even charge me a dime! Would definitely visit these guys for any repairs/purchases in the future. read more

Purchased a generator but had to return the item for a refund due to project issues, unused band new, only after the 5th day. Sales folks stated that "all sales are final", against their published policy on website (which accepts returns within 30 days). Their is no disclosure of their refund policy on the receipts and such documentation will not be provided has you would expect. They will not work with you at all, while this is an unfortunate situation for both parties, it can only be resolved legally. Please ensure you do get a copy and understand the policy before signature of receipt in case of unexpected situations or changes. It is easy to refuse a refund when they do not provide you copy of policies, this is also unethical practice. Better off purchasing from another vendor. read more

I'm going to write about my experience with this dealer. I recently took my bike over there to have a pair of tires put on. I dropped my bike off on a monday and the service writer told me it would be ready friday or saturday. I picked up my bike on a saturday around 3 o'clock. I go home and clean my bike for the first time of the season and I start finding scratches and little dents on my rim. I knew rite away that I was going to have a problem because I didn't do a damage report before i dropped the bike off. I called the dealer as soon as i noticed maybe 2 or 3 hours later. They told me that everybody from service went home for the weekend and to call them on monday.....Monday comes along and I call back and talk to the service writer, I explained to him that while my tires were being changed one of my rims got damaged. I asked him if i can bring it by to show him the damage and he tells me that they are not open on monday they are just working on their own stuff. I told him that somebody needs to take a look at my rim because I want a solution. He tells me to bring it by so i did. When I showed him my rim he tells me theres no way that their machine could have done any damage. I told him that the damage was caused by a careless tech that was not careful handling my rim while it was on the machine. He that told me in his exact words "were not open today, i dont have time for this. Ill deal with this while im on the clock" I told him i wanted to speak to the manager and he said he was not there and that he would call me tomorrow. The next day i never received a call from the manager so i went over there to speak to him. I finally speak to the manager and show him my bike and he than gives me the same speech about the service writer did about the tire machine. I paid $150 to have my $500 rim damaged and in the end I got a $50 store credit. At that point I was so pissed and just didnt want to deal with it anymore so I took the store credit that i will never use. TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEPLACE ELSE!!! There are many other reputable honda dealers in nj...Motorcycle mall in belleville nj just opened up a new beautiful building that will blow this place away. Xtreme machines in millstone is where i get my waverunner serviced and their customer service is top notch. The only phone call i got from the honda dealer is a phone call asking why i left a bad review. They think that because i received a $50 store credit that the damage to my rim will magically disappear and. I used an anonymous name because i didnt want to publicize myself and the manager was more concerned on why i used a false name and basically in a nice way called me a coward for using a false name. This is a true real life experience. So if you read this please take my advise and shop else ware. The only positive experience i had is when i went to buy oil one time lol. STAY CLEAR! read more

I have gone here often, purchased a new bike there, have that one and another motorcycle serviced here, I've bought helmets and other accessories form them and three business days ago, i bought a battery from them for my scooter. I was shocked when they said it's $145 but I figured it is what it is. Next day I told a friend who said I should google the make and model to check pricing. I did only to see the same make and model are sold online with free shipping for $89, other sites had it cheaper but $89 was the highest I found. Since I was charged 62% more than I needed to pay I attempted to return the one I bought, still in the brand new unopened box. They refused. Short sighted. I was planning to go back to price out a CBR I saw in the showroom while I was waiting for the parts guy to get the battery Saturday but why give folks like this business if they don't mind gouging you an extra 62%. To the owner, should teach your people to think big picture. Last time I'll go there for service, parts, accessories or machines. Do yourself a favor, go another 1/4 mile down the road to Action Yamaha, a place I have never had a bad experience with be it sales, service or parts, also nice knowledgeable staff. read more
