Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
After the verbal tongue lashing from an over aggressive and unfriendly employee of Triumph Events, I managed to find the courage to stand up for myself by contacting not just Triumph but the event organizers as well.
Much to my relief, both sides had open ears and allowed me to explain the series of events that led to this man shouting at me for no reason. I was told that this particular employee had been 'problematic' before and because there is a no tolerance policy for behavior like this, he was relieved of his position and asked to find employment elsewhere.
And while my intention of writing this review was merely to inform people what had happened, I certainly did not expect or intend for this to happen. It's not ever fun to lose a job but it goes to show that Triumph cares about their customers and their reputation. Hiring people who are loose cannons, people who lack patience and people who blame other people for their own errors are just not welcome. And I feel so relieved that they came to my defense and apologized for this incident. Which is great because the conference is over today and Triumph employees will be assisting me with the breakdown of my booth and this man will not be involved. Which is such a tremendous relief.
It was clear to me even the other day (with the exception of that one employee, of course) that Triumph Events Network staffs skilled, hardworking people. Loading in thousands of people, thousands of pounds of valuable equipment, getting it set up and making sure all the little loose ends are tied day after day is NOT easy. And while it was unfortunate that something that belonged to me was lost while under their care, it was definitely something I considered to be a rare occurrence. And hey - at the end of the day it was found!
I'm looking forward to their help today loading my booth back into my car. read more
