From first glance it looked like just another local shop but it kept peaking my interest. After weeks of seeing good reviews, I finally decided to try it. She was having a sale because of national pineapple upside down cake day. I initially got 3 cake slices because it was either $4/each or 3 for $10. She was very quick to respond to all of my messages and the curbside pick up was seamless. On the way home I decided to try a piece a cake because it looked so good and after one bite I called her right back and asked if I could have 3 more slices! The cake is so moist it has like a little gooey-ness to it so it kind of melts in your mouth. Not too sweet and just overall delicious. Be sure that you really look for the bakery because it is small and kind of hidden off the road. I drove past twice before I saw it. All the dessert options sound and look delicious. I believe they have new items every week based on what customers like or request. Also, preordering is required. Not sure if it's just because of COVID or if that's a regular deal. I plan to go back soon ... by soon I mean in 2 days lol. I also think her hours are Wednesday through Saturday. You will not be disappointed!!!!

All baking is done on the premises and most importantly it's woman owned! The service was spectacular. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and we chatted about everything under the sun. She was very personable and polite. Her bakery items was tasty and moist. Just the way I like it. She also allowed me to try her new ricotta cookie, which was a wildcard for me. Went to my surprise. We are so lucky that the bakery we found was La Bella Cakery! They were so nice, friendly, and accommodating, but even that took a backseat to the main event: the cake! It was incredible. Moist, delicious, creative, beautiful! The inside layers were all rainbow-colored, each with a corresponding layer of flavor to go with it. For example, the red layer had strawberries and the yellow had lemon curd. At the end of the night, we even scavenged the leftover crumbs when all of the cake had been cut because throwing them away seemed like such a waste of something so amazing. We are so grateful for La Bella Cakery! They are artists who use flour and eggs as their medium.

The cake was perfectly moist, and the flavor of the filling was well balanced with the cake - which with this flavor combo can be overly sweet.
