Trish's Mini Donuts: A Pier 39 Must-Stop!! If you're walking the Pier 39 boardwalk in San Francisco, the smell alone will probably pull you in. Trish's Mini Donuts is a classic for a reason. The Experience The staff here is incredibly quick and efficient, which is great because there's usually a line of eager people waiting for their sugar fix. Even with the crowd, they keep things moving smoothly. The Donuts These are the most amazing, simple mini donuts. The secret is definitely getting them freshly made. When they are served warm and crispy, tossed in that signature cinnamon sugar, they practically melt in your mouth. There's something so nostalgic and satisfying about a bucket of these while you're exploring the pier. The Drinks This time, we paired our donuts with a coffee cappuccino with caramel syrup. It was a decent, solid cup of coffee that provided a nice caffeine kick and balanced out the sweetness of the donuts. Tip: Don't wait until they cool down! Eat them as soon as you get them for that perfect warm-and-crispy texture.
Classic Pier 39 staple. I absolutely love Trish donuts and I always get the sugar bucket even when I know I wont make it to a "refill". The servers are so quick and very much a mind your own business bunch, I love it. There is public seating and its a cool place to just chill and grub a little on the Pier.

We waited about 15 minutes on a Sunday evening around 7:30pm and ordered 12 mini donuts for $9 at the window and it was ready immediately Donuts came out piping hot so definitely recommend eating them asap. They were crispy on the outside and melt in your month soft on the inside! Pretty good amount for the price too. I'm not in California anymore, but if I get the chance to come back to the area I would love more of these.

The staff were friendly when taking our order and handing us the baggie. There weren't that many people waiting, so we were able to get our donuts within a couple minutes. Definitely would come again for a little sweet treat if I'm in the area!
Trish's donuts is an iconic spot for San Francisco came here on a Saturday after the mid autumn moon festival in order 24 cinnamon donuts, which was a cheap meal for me came out to about $15 Service here is very fast very friendly and ambience is a very small store, but the service here is very quick
This reminds me of my childhood. Still the best mini donuts around. If you're a local or visiting you have to stop by Trish's! Such a cute little place too, with fast service.
How do you visit Pier 39 without visiting and getting some Trish mini donuts. We were full already from our lunch but still need to stop by and get some donuts to take on the road. The soft donut dusted in cinnamon sugar just hit the spot. Kids and adult approved. The line moved fast which we like 'cuz we were on a rush.
I haven't been here in about a decade and it's as great as before. The mini donuts were piping hot and delicious and the service was quick and I was on my way. The cost is $20 and was worth it since I haven't been here in years.
I have a real sweet tooth often, and while I was in SF I decided to try Trish's Mini Donuts while exploring the pier/fisherman's wharf area. I got about 6 and they were good. The mini donuts were yummy and fresh and the service was very friendly.

While walking at the pier, I came across this and I instantly wanted some. I got the 7 pack but they gave me more, which was a bonus. They were super fresh and DELICIOUS! Staff was friendly. There was a very minimal wait from ordering to receiving. No complaints at all! read more

One of my absolute favorite donut shops in the Bay Area! I enjoy the bite size donut, cinnamon sugar coated yummy soft, warm and chewy donut that is offered at our very own Pier 39. Whenever I get the chance to come with my boyfriend, we stand in line and get my favorite donuts here and grab a delicious yummy coffee from Biscoff near the entrance. The service is amazing, fast and efficient. You'll get your donuts less than 30 seconds after ordering and paying! The line might look scary, but they move quick. The ambiance is great, you get a nice view of all the stores deep in the pier as well as a view of the water to your right. I love coming around sunset when the lights start to turn on and liven up the area in a very pleasant way. I love coming here, even if the crowds are huge. Come here for donuts and roam through the stores that pier 39 has to offer! read more
I have not been to Trish's Mini Donuts in forever! It's been such a long time that my past review definitely shows my younger self and how I used to type. So silly looking back! It is just how I remembered it to be and I still find it to be a good 5 star rating! Hot mini fluffy donuts with a perfect crunch on the outside served hot fresh. You cannot go wrong! $18 for a souvenir bucket full of hot fresh 36ct mini donuts. I am not a sugary donut person whatsoever but I just love how FLUFFY and HOT these donuts are and have the perfect fried crunch on the outside. I normally just tap off the sugar and get the perfect amount of sugar per bite. We also ordered hot chocolate and the hot chocolate was SO GOOD. Service is very quick and didn't have to wait at all, which is a bonus. read more

I always stop by this little shop whenever I'm at Pier 39. Always fast and friendly service with minimal wait. It's a small take-out shop with no indoor dining. Perfect for light snacking on the go while roaming around the pier. The mini donuts are always freshly made, with a crispy exterior and super soft interior. The cinnamon sugar goes so well and they're happy to mix and match with plain or cinnamon as you please. A must stop! read more

Wish there were more spots like this in the city! The donuts are as fresh as they can be. They are slightly crispy on the outside and soft, gooey and chewy on the inside. You can get 7, 12 or 24 or if you want more the 36 and 120 (?!) donut options come with a souvenir bucket and tub respectively . Fits perfectly with the vibe of pier 39 and is truly a staple! read more
We saw many people with these mini donuts and thought there was no way they're as good as people were making them out to be. We were wrong because we ordered a dozen cinnamon sugar mini donuts with the glaze drizzled on top and they were absolutely delicious. They came out piping hot, and I would not hesitate to get more in the future. read more

Every time I'm in San Francisco, a stop at Trish's Mini Donuts is a must! These freshly made donuts are simply delicious. We popped in here with the kids the other day after disembarking from our cruise ship. I've been here before but somehow managed to completely forget about it. Absolutely loved rediscovering this spot! The cinnamon and sugar mix is perfectly balanced--sweet, warm, and comforting. The donuts are made fresh right in front of you and come out hot and pillowy. You can smell them from down the pier, and they taste even better than they smell. A fun, tasty treat while exploring San Francisco. read more

If you have ever had SPARKYS at Universal City in Hollywood then you know how good these taste. They make them fresh to order and they are nice and hot when you get them! They are fluffy and coated with sugar cinnamon. Trust me when I say just get the bucket because the little bag will vanish especially if you're sharing ;) If you're at pier 39 then I highly recommend trying these little golden donuts. This is a must get when you're visiting the pier! The weather was super windy and cold and these mini donuts come out fresh and hot!
