honestly this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. they tried to force me to put a mask on after I explain my medical reason for not wearing one. they said they can't see me unless I put one on and they didn't let me know this was their policy until 15 minutes before my appointment. they had me waiting outside in the rain and the doctor told me to leave. then the doctor changed her mind and said I can come in. then the doctor saw my phone on and thought I was recording so they decide to call the cops on instead of just comforting me. I asked if it even is illegal to record and None of the nurses were talking to me Or answering my question. None of the doctors wanted to have a conversation with me completely unprofessional. I'm a young girl tring to have a conversation and they immediately wanted to call the cops. They threatened to cancel my appointment for not wearing a mask they called the cops on me for no reason and the doctor is completely sporadic on her decisions. She was going back-and-forth on what she was saying. I wouldn't trust her as a medical professional. read more

UPDATE: Late update: my EDD judgement was overturned by a judge and it was determined her examination was COMPLETELY wrong. It normally takes a few weeks for a judge to make his determination - I got a letter TWO DAYS LATER, which should tell you how sure he was about my case. I was able to stay on disability and the judge also ordered EDD to backpay me for all the months I was not paid. Like I said - she is a terrible doctor. I encourage everyone who experiences any egregious circumstances like this to file a complaint with the Medical Board. They do need very solid, irrefutable evidence. Absolutely, stay away from this Doctor. I have been under the care of a Dr. Who recently retired, and I sought to continue my care with Dr. Gandhi. She refuses to continue my care by not prescribing meds that I have been on for almost 20 yrs. Need to find a doctor that can understand patient needs and emphasize with them. read more

I have an HMO and had to choose a Dr. Because it was near my house, I picked this Dr. I didn't expected outstanding service, but the usual. But what happened to me was out of the ordinary, and not in a good way. And my Review is not about medical Knowledge, but about how they handle finances. I was charged over and over for a service fee that was way higher than my actual copay; even to the point that the dr herself told me over the phone that I was going to be sent to collection. After many calls to my insurance company, and time invested, this doctor finally understood that they were not allowed to charge me such a big amount. It's not a secret that this Dr handles the finances herself, resulting in the fact that one could be intimidated to question high charges. But not such, I think everyone deserves to be treated fairly, and is not the patient's fault that doctors like this office don't like their contracted fees with insurance companies. That being the case, they should just cancel the insurance and go for cash services. That would be way more honest. I am grateful for the help received from customer service from my insurance company; they were helpful and understanding, and that saved me from a payment that I would not have been able to afford. read more

The level of care is pathetic here. The doctor ordered some tests for my wife and when the results came back the doctor didn't have courtesy to call back to discuss results also. The office experience was horrible. They initial refused to let us in without mask since we didnt have them as they were no more required. ( my visit was in March 2024). Hesitantly the agreed to give my wife a mask and refused me a mask. We had to really argue to get one mask. The lady at front desk is really rude person. Went for i693 paperwork. Good service and overall polite staff. Did couple of email and phone exchange to ensure I only had to 1 office visit and that was it. emailed my medical results few days before and got a all for scheduled appointment and went in for some final checks and was provided the completed i693 sealed as needed by uscis. thanks- read more

My son passed away suddenly late last year. I've been working part time and receiving pay from CA disability and returned to full time work today. I've been under the care of a psychiatrist, therapist and grief counselor. Two weeks before my return to full time, CA Disability decided I needed to see a doctor of their choosing. Not a psychiatrist or therapist, but a general practitioner and one who was an hour from my home. She spoke to me for 7 min. Did not have my paper work that I filled out minutes before In her office which included medical history and medications. She told CA Disability that I should be working full time. Not only did this woman lack compassion, but she was also absolutely not qualified to access my mental and emotional state. I would go so far as to say she is in cahoots with Disability. Either that or she's heartless at best and at worst, utterly incompetent. Oh. I was also told the office had no bathroom and I needed to drive to the nearest Chick Filet. Forget checking vitals. This doctor needs to check her conscience. Shame on her! Stay VERY clear from this doctor. read more

This was a nightmare appointment with a doctor who could not admit she knew nothing about my condition or the medication associated with it and instead was really harsh and demanding. I spoke to my insurance company and they were pretty shocked. She was released from their list of doctors and reported to the AMA. Good riddance. read more

I used Dr Tripty Gandhi's service for our Green card physical examination process. For our I-693 Dr Gandhi and her staff provided amazing service. We got our appointment over phone and during first visit she did the physical examination for myself, my spouse and kids . She wrote all the required tests which I got done from Kaiser. I submitted all the test copies in her office and her staff did all the paper work in terms of filling forms etc. In next visit (after a week) we just went for signature and done. We got the medical sealed packets which we then sent to out attorney. She is highly professional, gentle, timely and provide the correct information for a timely closure of process. Based on my enquiry across various USCIS certified doctors her consulting + paper work charges were among the lowest. Thabks Dr Gandhi for all you support during our GC journey. read more

This doctor is no help at all. She was assigned to my daughter. My daughter injured her knee and since there was no appointments available I had to take her to the ER. She needs a follow up and of course no appointments available on the website so I call. Doctor says I need to go onto the website to make an appointment. I again tell her there is no available appointments till next week she says to book the next available one and she will adjust the date at time and will get back to me with the time for the following day. Of course I don't hear back I have to call the next day after 12pm and can't do a video call till Thursday unless I have my daughter available rite then to do the video call. I had to tell them of course she's not with me that's why I was supposed to get a call to find the time so she could be with me. So frustrating I rather pay the extra money and get a good doctor that is more helpful instead of having to go to the ER when my daughter needs to be seen. read more

This review is for all GREEN CARD (i-485) APPLICANTS My husband and I first visited Dr. Gandhi for our Green card medicals late August 2015. My husband was born in India and had his old vaccination records. I was born in the UK, but the hospital I was born in had since shut down and I lost my vaccination records during shifting a long time ago. Looking for a physician: When I was looking for a physician in the Santa Clara area, Dr. Gandhi was the only physician who picked up the phone almost immediately and mentioned that she could give us all the records in a day. When we went to visit her, she mentioned that we would ONLY require 2 vaccinations for the Green card application - Tdap and MMR. We were charged $300 (for my husband for the Tdap vaccine) and $360 for me (for the Tdap and MMR) (the company paid for this cost) In December, we received an RFE (request for further evidence) with 1 word in our RFE: Varicella. This is a very important note to all of you. If you are above 18, there are 3 vaccines required (and NOT 2): Tdap, MMR and Varicella. 2 of my husband's colleagues also mentioned that they went to Dr. Gandhi and both of them received an RFE for the Varicella vaccine. If you happened to have had chickenpox in the past, if the Doctor annotates the form with "VH" (meaning you have had chickenpox in the past) it should be fine. We did not want to take the chance however and took the Variella vaccine. Also, pl note that if you received an RFE, you would also need to take the 2nd MMR vaccine (a month after the first shot). We were charged $320 for the both of us this time (the company did not reimburse this amount since it was the doctor's error). I strongly recommend however that you check your vaccination sheet very carefully and ensure all 3 of the vaccines are given to you - MMR (2nd dose if you get an RFE), Tdap AND VARICELLA. Also, if it is Flu Season, pl pl ensure the date of the Flu Shot is also specified. For the other vaccines, the physician, can mark "Not Age Appropriate". The charges were higher than we'd initially have expected. Dr. Gandhi seemed to have done the RFE's correctly, although she is very quick and we were a little worried about whether the forms were signed and dated. We eventually got our Green cards 2 weeks after we sent across the revised medicals (just before New Years Day). It did delay things by a month however. Front desk: sign in, not bad, get greeted appropriately. Dr. Ghandi: came to her to test out my new insurance. She had terrible bedside manner, whether seeing you in person or on the phone. I'm not sure if this is due to her being Indian. Maybe in India, there are a bunch of patients so you need to be brisk, but she's brisk to the point of being almost rude. "Who are you?", "What is it that you need?", "You are pre-diabetic.", are the few things that come out of her mouth. I keep thinking every time I converse with her will be different, but she is still unbelievably rude. Definitely seeing a different PCP soon. read more

I find it to be very interesting that there are 3 PAGES of one star reviews that are hidden and "no longer included in this business' overall rating". Otherwise I most certainly would NOT give her 4 stars! I believe that two stars would be fair. This Dr sends you for a lot of tests, and some may not be necessary. She does not keep to her business hours, and if you are a working professional, good luck!! You will need to take time off work every time. At my first meeting with this Dr. she had me do a sweep of blood tests, which DID turn out to be useful I am happy to say. Yet her bedside manner is abrupt and she is very opinionated. What I mean by that is, I am living in MY body, and I KNOW when something is amiss. She did not listen and dismissed my concerns. That is not what I believe a Dr should do. Yes, they know more about the human body than I do, however I am the expert on oddities within MY body. Please listen and help to guide me to the correct diagnosis. Great doctor if you are Indian and have good insurance. I'm not Indian and I'm poor with poor insurance. I'm in poor health with a number health issues. This doctor actually discharged me saying it was because she couldn't give me the care I needed. Well she was absolutely right. I was assigned another doctor by my insurance. My new doctor is great and is on top of all my health issues. As for Dr Gandhi, I always felt she didn't even want to be in the same room with me. When I would show up for an appointment I would get strange looks from her. She did not have a good bedside manner. Also, I only saw people from India in her office. As a non-indian with poor insurance, I would have to wait in the waiting room while other people who came in after me got to see her 1st. Also her health care was pretty bad. She was always getting my prescriptions wrong, and had diagnosed me wrong. Back to her bedside manner, I never felt cared for. I never felt confidant in her treatments. And she seemed condescending and aloof. Like my health issues were my problems not hers. Strange. I believe she discharged me because I have bad insurance and my case was more complicated than she cared to deal with. Then the way she discharged me was very unprofessional. Basically the feeling I got was that she didn't like me and wanted me to go away. (I don't need anymore friends but I definitely do not need my doctor to be mean to me) Anyway, this is the USA. We do not have a caste society where doctors are gods. Also, we are supposed to be a melting pot. We have to think in terms of inclusiveness not in terms of race. I hope she reads this and other reviews and takes them to heart to improve her practice and make her a more caring person like her namesake. read more

Dr Gandhi is the best! We came here after a very ugly experience trying to get our USCIS medical check. She gave us confidence and tranquility during the process. She's extremely efficient and the rates are competitive. She is also flexible especially during the shelter in place for COVID-19 and got us the documents on time. read more

Doctor is extremely insensitive about your time. She made me wait 45 minutes to see only for 15minutes. When she came in, she seemed to be in a hurry. I felt I was the one supposed to be in a hurry instead! Anyway, I went in for a stomach pain and clearly told her there was no chance of pregnancy but she insisted that I get a test done (which would add to her bill). I went to Dr Tripty Gandhi for getting my immigration medicals done. i.e for Green Card. She actually suggested me to get my vaccination stuff done at my HMO hospital, as it was covered. and it would cost me $200 less, as my vaccinations would have been covered by my HMO. I had waited for 15 years for my Green card and was impatient, and asked her for immediate appointment. She understood my predicament and helped me with all the tests. I got Greened without any issues. I would hate improper medicals causing delay because it should be the most hassle free papers required v/v other immigration prerequisite documents. Dr. Gandhi is highly professional and she is upfront about the charges. I did some shopping around. Actually my earlier vaccinations were done more than 10 years ago and had lapsed, so I had to go through the procedure again, else it would have cost me lesser. She is not covered under my medical insurance else, I would have her as my regular physician. She and her staff are very friendly too. read more

Not impressed. After moving to the bayarea, this was the first doctor I went to for a general checkup. Her office staff wasnt very accommodating. They don't have space or accommodations for moms with strollers or young children. It's a small office, crowded hallway which made it hard to move around with an infant. Everyone is different but I like docs with good bedside manner, and dr. Gandhi didn't make me feel comfortable. I felt rushed and uneasy. Dr. Gandhi takes care of both of me and my wife and we have been very happy to visit her office located conveniently in Santa Clara, close to most Silicon Valley companies. We've been helped by Dr. Gandhi for couple of years and consulted her about various issues. I have found her to be very competent, compassionate, flexible and dedicated to help you. I've been helped by Dr. Gandhi for about 2 years now. I think for family practice Dr. Gandhi is good - and that's what she does according to all the certificates on the walls. Dr Gandhi is open to talk about pretty much anything - any ailment or concerns about medication etc. She's polite and attentive. It nice to be able to schedule an appointment at short notice (usually the next day). I really don't want to wait for weeks before someone can see me. read more
