We chose The Little Glass Slipper partly based on the very positive personal and professional reviews, as well as our desire to not work with a 'big business'. From the start, Cary was very responsive to our requests and budget. I found her pricing to be very fair. The bouquets, candles and table arrangements were beautiful, fresh, and exactly what we wanted. The Chuppah was gorgeous with greenery, large beautiful hydrangeas, and roses. We highly recommend hiring Cary and The Little Glass Slipper for your wedding, or next event!

From the moment we walked in, Cary was so sweet, knowledgeable, and, above all, so patient. There were two carts set up with an apron and knife and she even had delicious refreshments waiting for us! By the way, it was a very intimate class with just my mom and I, so we were able to get great one-on-one help. We learned about the proper ways to care for flowers, how to make them last longer, and so much more and we walked out not only with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, but also great tips and tricks to use at home. She answered any questions we had and really made us feel comfortable and at ease. If you're looking for an awesome class or a great gift to give someone, I 100% recommend this class. You won't be disappointed!

This is an overdue review for the most phenomenal floral design & delivery!…read more I needed to send flowers as a "small thank you" to a fashion designer during NYFW and I was anxious about getting the tone right (without spending too much) but had no idea what I wanted to send. I found Alma Floral on Yelp and gave her a call towards the end of a work day. She sounded genuinely happy to chat (a nice change) and her website made it easy to place my order online. (Bonus - Alma's also happy to communicate via iMessage and email.) Alma sent pics of the bouquet with and without the final touches and I was blown away by her choice of flowers/vase, the artful arrangement, and the perfectly chic, understated wrapping... Alma's taste and skill is exquisite: For well-under $100 she hit the mark on a complicated request and surpassed my expectations. (The designer I sent the flowers to agreed and posted the flowers on IG.) ++ Did I mention there was NO delivery fee?! ++ Bottom line, Alma is a major catch and I recommend her without any hesitation.

I was so excited to book Melissa for my wedding but sadly, she seriously dropped the ball at my…read morewedding, to the extent that I've been advised to seek legal action against her for financial restitution. The flowers she delivered: a) were not what we agreed on in her proposal, b) were far less robust than had been agreed on and paid for, c) included several partially dead or dying flowers and d) were constructed poorly, creating several logistical challenges, including my planner having to run to a local bodega for extra flowers since so many were dead and having to get vases from florist doing a wedding at the venue next door. Her work was so far from the mark before you even take into account the dead flowers, which I have ample photo evidence of. My day of coordinator and photographer (who had recommended Alma to me, was horrified to have done so seeing her work product, and has advised her other clients to cancel their contracts with her) said that the flowers delivered looked like they were worth only half the amount I had paid her. After my wedding, I contacted Melissa to share my feedback (dismay, really) and that I wanted financial restitution, she did not respond to several outreaches. When I booked Melissa, I knew from reviews that she had some issues with responsiveness; though she assured me that she had hired an office manager to support her, I never saw evidence of this - emails were often unreturned and deliverables late. Needless to say, I would strongly advise any bride from booking Melissa. I'm still struggling to look at my wedding photos without crying at how much she screwed up. Her work, communication style, and total avoidance of addressing these issues ipso facto were far from professional.
