Since we believed they would live up to their word, we added, at the service manager's suggestion, to have the patio resealed after repairs. The crew that showed up stated that there was nothing to be done as they (Allied Outdoor Solutions) should have prepped the cracks and sealed them before the product was applied. The crew did not repair all the popped up areas and the disappeared for hours saying they were going for lunch. They returned at 7PM saying that they had another job they were on. Not just 1 area, the whole bottom plank adjacent to my porch. We won't even get into the names he called my wife (cuss words) when she called to have the job finished. The job is still not finished. I'm in a service oriented business who recommends good fellow contractors and Todd is not one of them. I have documented the way he spoke to me & my wife & have documented the damage. The job is still not finished & we are to the point we don't even feel safe having Todd back over. Save yourself the trouble & use someone else. Oh & he's been paid in full. We made the mistake of paying them in March for the full job when they weren't done yet, there were only a few small things to be done and they had been doing fine up to then. It is not July 1st and they have NOT completed the work. They have not been returning calls, texts or emails, and when we did manage to get through to them from a different phone number they claimed they had been having issues with their phones and promised to send someone out. They sent someone out once, and they did not finish the job. We still don't have a sun shade, they were supposed to replace some janky looking lattice work under the bottom step, and the work they did needed repairs that they did not finish. I am super disappointed with them and do not recommend.

Once the new fence had been installed, I contacted Great Dane and it became a matter of waiting for it to stop raining. We needed at least two rain-free days. It is recommended that we restain the wood every 24 months and I suspect Great Dane will be doing that job.

Customer service at Armstrong, the stain we used, suggested reapplying and wiping off after 24 hours (Dane's wiped off the same day, hence the problem). The owner came out to evaluate, but seemed reluctant to do the other coat because at the time, we'd both thought it looked good with just one (but I'm no expert and didn't know it needed to sit so long). Said he'd call Armstrong himself. That was in July. Never heard back. It's now October. Wasted $1,000.
