Shooting is actually something I used to do quite a bit years ago, and after this visit I realized how much I missed it. I had such a great time getting back on the range. The facility is impressive, well organized, affordable, and I really liked the setup of the indoor lanes and digital target system. I also appreciate that they offer everything from basic handgun and refresher courses to more advanced training and private instruction. Since it has been a while for me, I'm definitely interested in taking advantage of some of their training as I get back into shooting regularly. They made the experience enjoyable, and I left already thinking about coming back. This used to be a sport and hobby that I really enjoyed a long time ago, and my visit to SharpShooter reminded me why. I definitely plan on getting back into shooting and making it something I do regularly again. I'll be back very soon! Highly recommend SharpShooter STL, whether you've been shooting for years or, like me, are coming back to it after some time away.

We shared a bay and stayed for probably an hour or so. Plenty of time to get through some rounds in our new rifle. They can't HVAC the range because of all the lead, so just be aware of that, on hot days, it's HOT. But other than that, we had a blast! They also had a worker that was coming over and giving me tips, which was awesome and appreciated. Definitely recommend if you don't want to drive 40 minutes to an outdoor range!

We practiced and got familiar with the handguns with the help of a teamember who was very patient and helpful. He made us girls feel very welcome, safe and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were also friendly and helpful. We worked up an appetite after shooting so we ate at the BBQ joint adjoined. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the beautiful weather. The ribs had so much flavor they didn't even need sauce. The green beans also had lots of flavor and i can almost never pass up sweet potato fries especially if they are waffle cut! We stayed past the time the kitchen closed and as we were catching up told the workers we would get out of their hair but they insisted that we did not have to leave and were not keeping them. We found that to be extremely kind and will definitely make it by again sometime.

You will need your own ear/eye protection but if you don't have you can buy there. They also have an instruction course for $25 where the instructor will walk you through how to use the different guns. We did that as it was our first time either of us had shot a pistol. 10/10 would recommend this if it's your first time, though it will be a bit hard to hear since it happens down at the shooting range. It's $10 for the gun which you can switch out continuously, and then just paying for ammo after that. Overall good price and service, would come here again!

My granddaughter was watching tv in the other room (she was visiting that day) and commented later that when she went to hers the material was very dry and was almost all read straight out of the booklet. Trey was very enthusiastic about the information, and frequently elaborated on the discussion points so that it was easier to understand the "why" instead of just the "how." Thankfully Christmas is just around the corner, I bought two gift certificates from him for my son and his wife! Thanks again, Edna

He offered more information than what is required for CC class on firearm training and the legality of having and using firearms. He is a phenomenal instructor and passionate about what he teaches and takes a "personal interest" in your success. He reads his students correctly and endeavors to make sure you get and understand what he is teaching. When you are done taking the class, you know you came to the right place for your CC instruction and are motivated to take more of his training. When it was time to qualify at the shooting range, his instruction on how to hold and sight the firearm, allowed me to hit 19 out of 20 of the shots I took in the center mass of the target! Prior to this, I was a poor shot. When you are looking to acquire your CC permit and want excellent firearm training, I highly recommend Kevin Cummins & his company. I will be taking more of his classes in the future. Brad K.
