The pricing is great ($5 per hour per lane), and in the past I found the staff helpful, though very rule-oriented, which is understandable at a shooting range. Yesterday, however, was a completely different experience. It was my 19 year old daughter's first time shooting a gun, and she was already very anxious. Unfortunately, what should have been a positive introduction turned into a stressful and upsetting experience due entirely to one staff member. When we arrived, we rented two lanes -- one for my daughter and me, and one for my minor son (16) and an adult male friend. Everyone except my daughter had been there before. When we got to the lanes, staff member Bruce began questioning us. I explained that it was my daughter's first time and that she might need some extra help because she was nervous. Instead of being supportive, Bruce immediately became aggressive and started yelling. He then went over to my son's lane and escalated further, getting into my minor son's face. The adult male with us asked him to please back up and be respectful. Bruce responded by getting into the adult's face and yelling even louder. We asked to speak with a supervisor. Bruce followed my friend to the office and continued invading his personal space until the supervisor finally told Bruce to back up. By that point, my friend was understandably upset and chose not to continue shooting. My son shot a few rounds, but the situation had already soured the experience. Thankfully, another staff member later helped my daughter calmly and respectfully, and she was able to learn how to shoot for the first time in a supportive environment. That staff member was professional and deserves recognition. It's extremely unfortunate because prior to this visit I would have given this range five stars and praised the staff. One person completely changed that. For a new shooter -- especially a young, anxious one -- being yelled at and treated aggressively is unacceptable. Be aware of who is working when you visit. Our experience would have been entirely different had we not encountered Bruce.

You walk in to what looks like a converted house that…read morethey're using as an office, and behold, every kind of living thing you could possibly imagine shooting is mounted on the wall, along with a big old rack of firearms for sale - it is all that is man. They've got a pretty good setup - I went with a couple of friends to go upland bird hunting for the first time, and it was an enjoyable experience. They will provide you with the proper licenses, and since it's private land, there's no worry about finding an OK stop to hunt. You basically pay for the birds you wish to be able to hunt, and they place them in a field that's been strategically mowed/plowed to include strips of cover for the birds. I'm sure they have more available, but we were able to choose from quail, chukar, and pheasant. This seemed a little like cheating, but given that those birds aren't native to Missouri, or at least not in decent quantities, it was a good way to ensure we would actually have some targets. At that point, we were on our own - drive out to the field and hunt 'em up. I'm sure that they would have provided us with guides and a dog for a fee, but we had a friend with hunting dogs. After the hunt, they will clean your birds for you, again, for a nominal fee, but we opted not to - they have facilities available to clean the birds right there, which is nice, as you can bring home just what meat you wanted, and not the whole bird. I feel like it was a tad expensive, but then again, I've never been before, so I don't know what I thought it was going to cost. It's something I would do every once in a great while, and not all the time, so as a once a year deal, I'm happy with the expense. Everyone was very friendly, and they have plenty of beer on hand for after the hunt, plus a lunch that looked to be heavy on game, and looked tasty, but we did not indulge. I look forward to going again.

The CCW class was so good that I decided to take the Handgun Boot Camp 1 here. The Boot Camp was great as well. The instructors are knowledgeable in what they do and what they are teaching. I personally feel more comfortable in having a CCW license. They put you in real life situations making sure you follow proper procedures at all times. I will definitely take the Hangun Boot Camp 2. I really trust these men and women in what they do.

I do not have much background or experience, and I found the material appropriately challenging, but not at all overwhelming or too technical. I"m six months pregnant, too, and that wasn't an issue either, even with the physical training that is part of the bootcamp--- it's scalable so I just sat a few things out and observed. I highly recommend this place for others who want to become more comfortable and proficient. It's extremely valuable, and at the same time, very, very fun.

We practiced and got familiar with the handguns with the help of a teamember who was very patient and helpful. He made us girls feel very welcome, safe and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were also friendly and helpful. We worked up an appetite after shooting so we ate at the BBQ joint adjoined. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the beautiful weather. The ribs had so much flavor they didn't even need sauce. The green beans also had lots of flavor and i can almost never pass up sweet potato fries especially if they are waffle cut! We stayed past the time the kitchen closed and as we were catching up told the workers we would get out of their hair but they insisted that we did not have to leave and were not keeping them. We found that to be extremely kind and will definitely make it by again sometime.

They also have an instruction course for $25 where the instructor will walk you through how to use the different guns. We did that as it was our first time either of us had shot a pistol. 10/10 would recommend this if it's your first time, though it will be a bit hard to hear since it happens down at the shooting range. It's $10 for the gun which you can switch out continuously, and then just paying for ammo after that. Overall good price and service, would come here again!

Missouri Pickleball Club is an indoor pickleball facility located in Fenton, Missouri. They have 18…read morecourts available and also sell quite a bit of pickleball gear including paddles, bags, and accessories. They also allow you to demo paddles. There is a giant parking lot right outside of the facility and I have never had an issue finding a spot. I have been a member ($25/month) for about 2 months now and have taken advantage of their perks. For example, they offer a good amount of beginner and advanced clinics, paddle stack play, organized play, and league play throughout the week. You sign up for these events through an app (CourtReserve) and then scan your own personal bar code to check in. These events run almost all day and are open to non members but are cheaper if you have a membership. You also have the option to reserve a court but each person playing on the court is also charged too. They also host tournaments here that you can sign up for. So far I've done drill and play, organized play, paddle play, and have reserved a court at some point. It is nice have the organized play/paddle stack options and play with new folks when I don't have a group to play with. The courts are also pretty nice and the bathrooms are kept fairly clean. There is a wide range of DUPR levels (2.5-4+) which allows for a wide variety of people with different skill levels to participate. Some downsides are that the cost to play can add up considering the $25/month membership plus any additional event you want to sign up for which can range from $5-$30. Starting January 2024, they also charge a $50 account activation fee for new and returning members. This is fine but I think it would be helpful for them to be transparent about it as this is not listed on their website and was sent through a members only email. I do like MPC and am enjoying their events but will likely be returning to outdoor courts once the weather warms up.
