Stay away from this company. They don't even rate one star. Contacted Triple S Plumbing for an estimate to jet out our drain lines after having our septic tank pumped out twice in 5 weeks and a recommendation from them to get the lines jetted. I called Triple S and was quoted a price for the job at $2400. Theyask if there were any trees near the septic and I said no As I was sure I knew where the D-Box was located. They came out and started probing the ground. After a few minutes they called me and my husband and said that they had located the D-Box right behind a tree that was approximately 20 feet from the septic tank. It was a cement slab for apparently a different purpose and for them to go any further the tree would need to come out. Without digging any further they informed us that there was either a broken or crushed damaged pipe underneath the roots of the tree and it would need to be cut off repaired and that would solve our problem. I told them that i was quite sure that the Distribution Box was not in that area and that It was on the other side of the porch about 10 ft from the septic tank. Of course, what does a 87 year old women know about a Distrabution box? They were quite adamant They were quite adament that they were right. They informed us that they could not go any further until the tree was removed We had the tree removed the next day($400.00) After they left my husband continued to dig down in the hole they started. He dug down about 4 ft. NOTHING! I then ask my husband to dig in the area where i thought it was and had told Trple S. YES, it was there. He spent hours to uncover,expose and clean the start of the drain lines. The box was filled with dirt and mud. TripleS returned and was able to continue the job. It took them less than tha 90 minutes for the jetting since my husband had done all the work. Before they presented me with the bill i ask for an adjustment since we were required to have a tree removed (400.00) which proved to be total unnecessary,in addition to locating, uncovering the D-BOX and cleaning it out. He said he needed to talk to his boss. His boss said we pay for the truck and equipment. 1 ask for a itemized receipt. They don't give itemized receipts. WOW!!! I wonder why? avoid this place after being told twice we were going to have septic tank pumped and they would definitely be there they no showed and no called! they wouldnt give a window of arrival time other than someone will call a half hour before they get here. waited all day and no one came or called us with status! most unprofessional place ive ever tried to use for anything. no clue how they have good reviews but would never recommend this place ! read more

On the Friday prior to the Labor Day weekend I called Champion Septic to have a routine preventative pumping done on my tank. He only pumped the dosing tank and did not inspect the other two tanks. About one week after that my septic tank backed up at 5:00 on a Saturday. I had to call an emergency service, and in this case it was Metro Rooter. This man came out and did some diagnostic testing, and after dropping a whole box of cigarettes into my tank, he charged me $300 and went on his way. I called Triple S for an evaluation of my system and told them the problem I was having. This was about 4:00 Thursday afternoon. I spoke with one of the co-owners, Tommy, and explained to him what I was told that the problem might be, and let him know that I was looking for a company that could use a camera to help diagnose what the real issue was. Tommy was on another job but said as soon as he was finished he would grab his camera and head my way. A little less than an hour later Tommy and Kalvin showed up. After a quick explanation by me and a visual on their part they got to digging. Do to the layout of my system and its' piping, it was a little more difficult than they had expected. They dug, cut and put the camera in at least four or five different locations until they were able to locate the problem. As they were doing this we discussed everything about septic systems and potential problems and it was obvious that these two gentlemen knew what they were talking about. Even though it was late in the evening they never once complained or had a negative thing to say. These two guys are true professionals and customer service like this is almost non-existent anymore. The bottom line is that my drain field needs to be replaced. Although these guys went above and beyond the call of duty I still have to shop prices. But I guarantee you if the prices are fairly close Triple S Plumbing will definitely get the bid. read more

I feel Triple S Plumbing tried to scam me. I made the appointment a week in advance. I told the secretary it was the only weekday I could have the work done. I asked her what time did she think the plumber would arrive. She said my area was the first in the morning the plumber would go to and he should arrive around 8-8:30am. At 9am I called the office and the secretary told me the plumber was at a job an hour away but they would be at my house as soon as they finished. At 1:30pm I called the office and the secretary said they went to another job in a different town an hour away. I asked if they would have time for me and she assured me they would. The plumber showed up at my house at approx. 3:30 and told me he would be charging me time and a half to do my job. I immediately called the office and the secretary said, oh yes anything after 4pm was time and a half. I asked why since I had an appointment, she said that was just the way it is. I said won't pay the time and a half, she laughed and said you'll be back. I spoke to the owner, he said he would do the work on Saturday at regular time. I asked to send me text or email stating it would be done at regular time. He did not. On Friday he called me at 3:30pm and asked me to change my plans that evening so he could come to my house and work. I agreed. I waited a couple of hours and he did not show up. Nor did anyone show up on Saturday. I feel this was a scam, they knew I needed the work done and even though I had an appointment they held off doing the work at my house because they thought I would pay them time and a half rather than the straight hourly rate they had quoted me. Triple S was paid to pump out the septic tank 02/18/19 by the previous owners and was paid to put a new "filter cap" on the system. We closed on the house 03/22/19. The septic has run over since we have been here and continues to do so. They have given us the run around for more than 2 weeks now and still have not gotten the right "filter cap" put on (prepaid for) and have not come out to the house to see why the tank is overflowing already. They were supposed to come out 04/16/19 after talking to them for 2 weeks. My husband took the day off from work because they made an appointment to be here between 1 and 2 but never showed up and never called. If I could leave Triple S plumbing a zero, I would. I am a commercial customer who provides residential services to people. the straw that broke the companies back was calling for a shower that would not turn off. My facility is on city water. Plumber showed 12 hours later, spent 2 hours there, and left because he "Could not turn off the water". Ever since we started to use them to service our septic tank, we've had nothing, nothing but positive and great service. When we call them for service or any other plumbing matter, they never hem and haw as to their availability. Their prices are beyond reasonable. These people must have to much on there plate because they never even made it out to my house to do a 4 part plumbing job and all I got was excuses that there plumber got mixed up. I even rescheduled for the next day and took the day off since the appointment was for early a.m. So around 9a.m. I call to find out what time is the plumber going to be out I get told he accidentally went to a different job and would be at mine at 11:00a.m Well 11:45 rolls around and still no plumber and I've about had it at this point so I HAD TO ACTUALLY CALL THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON?? I told the receptionist Mona to forget about it and I don't want there services and to just cancel it all. If these people can't even make it out to my house after 2 different days "Appointment's".I don't trust the job that they would have been done would have been any better than the trouble they had just to make it here to do the work... This company is dishonest and does dangerous work. Long story short, they told us we needed a new sump pump, $800, when we simply had a rusted and hole filled lid to the sump pump that was allowing dirt to fall into and block the intake. We had them install it and they never mentioned the lid. After the same problem 2 months later, another plumber showed us the real problem. When we contacted Triple S with this info, they gave us the run around and finally said they wouldn't fix the lid. My 2 year old son could have stepped through the lid easily and the owner of Triple S response was "did he?". Please don't use this company!!! read more
