If you've been to a recycling place where they weigh your recyclables, you park/walk up, place your items in the trash cans, they place your items on a scale, and then give you paper to cash in the office. They took over from what appears to be an old gas station. It's a recycling center so floor can be sticky. You grabbing old trash cans so wear gloves and closed toe shoes for some type of protection. Generally pretty fast. I'll make sure to go to this place whenever I need to send recyclables.

I can't say they pay top dollar, nor can I say they are low on the scale, it's not my gig "recycling metal", but getting paid for it, vs tossing it out, seems like a win win. I've had good experiences coming here and they have never been too busy. I've been to previous terrible recyclable locations where nobody was working during their posted business hours, or there would be a huge line where I would have to wait a very long time to turn in my recyclables. I've never had any of those problems coming here. This place may seem hidden, but they are located behind the Del Rancho Supermercado. You can bring your recyclables to the back of the building, and the employees working there are very friendly & efficient. They are a dependable place to drop off your recyclables in the Livermore area.

He saw that I had my hands full with a crying baby and toddler, he kindly assisted me in unloading and was courteous enough to take the bins up front. They do require you to put your drivers license number, license plate, a signature & your fingerprint in order to get paid out as it is part of the State of California Scrap Law.

They require everyone outside the vehicle to wear a hard hat and safety vest. I'd recommend going to the Pleasanton dump. If you're a Pleasanton resident it is $14. Non-residents are $35. (Per cubic yard) Vision Recycling in Livermore is also cheaper. They charge $27 for green waste dump.

Owning a truck makes it easier to haul garbage. My dog Lola loves to visit the dump because she receives a biscuit from the attendant at the check in station. Today's visit, I was recycling cardboard and there was no charge for this as a resident.

The aluminum cans and Pete bottles were all crushed and empty yet they claimed they were contaminated and full of liquids and gave me a lesser price. These people are completely corrupt and will rip you off. They need to be turned into the bureau of weights and measures and have their license revoked.
