Some areas of expertise that you won't find anywhere else in town:
- Malware removal and advanced software repairs *specialist*. I manually diagnose and remove infections and correct deep configuration issues, and almost NEVER resort to reformatting (read: surrendering).
- Software/hardware troubleshooting. I can work through just about any problem with a system, sometimes even involving specialty software.
- Unmatched Tune-ups. The term doesn't even really do it justice. It might be more accurately referred to as a "system overhaul"; when I'm finished, your computer will likely be faster than the day you bought it.
- Advanced Data Recovery. I use the same equipment as the big labs, which costs many thousands and which almost no one else owns. And I charge but a fraction of what they do! I do Hard Drive Recovery, Flash Drive Recovery, SSD Recovery, Laptop Data Recovery, RAID Recovery, and deleted files recovery right here in Louisville!
- New PC purchase consultation and full setup. I can even find you a new name-brand PC at a ridiculous (read: unbeatable) price. Best of all, it's fully setup with all of your data when you get it.
History
Established in 2006.
Started in 2006 officially--but it's really been happening over the course of my entire life. It was third grade when I began working on PCs, and it wasn't long after that I decided that it was what I wanted to do professionally.
Ever since then, this has been a hobby of mine, and it just so happens to pay the bills, too--which is a wonderful perk, of course. But that's the thing: it's a hobby first and a job *second*. Sure, it's hard work, but when you love what you do, it's not really that difficult to be great at it. It all starts with happy customers, and I've got plenty of those.
Even in spite of my self-taught expertise, I'm still learning new things daily, and loving it. That's what makes a good tech: someone who's immersed themselves in the technology world, loves what they're doing, and is still open to learning more. I think you'll find pretty quickly that my enthusiasm is infectious... and that's my goal. :-)
Meet the Business Owner: Steve S.
I graduated in 2005 with degrees in Management and Computer Science. Over the years, I've been involved in everything from managing gaming industry coverage (for DigitalChumps.com) to reviewing hundreds of laptops for one of the world's largest mobile technology review sites (Notebookcheck, where I was a Senior Editor at the US branch for nearly a decade). The entire time, however, I've also been the owner and sole technician at Triple-S Computers.
When you call me, you get me—not some random teenager who was trained over the course of a week with a preset checklist of possible solutions in hand. I am confident you'll be thrilled with the results of my work, even to the point that I depend on that enthusiasm as my sole source of advertising.
