The White Spot at UBC went under renovation and became a Triple O's! Now you just order and sit wherever you want. No waitresses, no tips, and a cheaper menu (not that cheap -most burger combos are $10 or so). Anyway, it was 4:00PM and we were starving so we decided to drop by for their Tuesday burger special. It was $3.30 for their classic burger which includes the following: their classic soft bun, a grilled beef patty, lettuce, tomato, legendary sauce and a pickle on top. Legendary Burger - $3.30 (4.5/7) This burger was quite mediocre but acceptable for the low price. Normally, the same burger (or something similar) would cost three times more at a White Spot so we can't really complain. The burger was a bit on the small side and there weren't enough vegetables. Mediocre food. This was during the summer so rent wasn't that busy. Had their Monday special, a crispy chicken sandwich. So so at best. In spite of picking up the order as soon as they called my numbers the fries were warm at best. Definitely a major step down from what Whitespot used to be. Pretty typical quick burger joint, better than, for example, McDonalds, but still just fast food. The building is actually quite nice in terms of atmosphere, but service is very slow, and the people working here are generally unfriendly and don't seem to know what they're doing. Without a doubt, this is the the best customer service i've ever had a restaurant, ever. This guy, Ceasar, was my cashier and he was THE NICEST person i've ever had serve me food, and this is a fast food restaurant where customer service isn't even emphasized. Although the food here is of sufficient quality, the negligence and incompetence of the employees in this location is unbelievable. In a particular incident here, I tried to pay with my UBC card which was clearly not expired, yet they said it was expired, pointing to the future expiry date. Secondly, while ordering a simple cheeseburger and vanilla shake, the employee repeated this order multiple times, seemingly confused by the simple order. They then proceeded to make a chocolate milkshake, and were confused yet again when I said Informed them I ordered a vanilla milkshake, so I just dropped it an took the chocolate milkshake. I tried to buy a Mike's Hard Lemonade and the cashier, an older woman with dyed blond hair and an accent, was incredibly rude to me, and made derogatory comments about my ethnicity. After she told me that I was not able to take the sealed lemonade out of the store with me, she tried to make me pay $5 for it because she had already opened it. I'm never going back again. Location, location, location! Triple O's has the only decent food on the NorthWest side of campus, for those who don't have the time to trek to the SUB for some crappy pizza or less-than-fresh sushi. Now the service and food is by no means amazing, but it is not bad either. On Tuesday's you can get a legendary burger for $3.33, +$3 if you want to make it a combo with fries and a drink. Also, they serve beer, and now that Koerner's is closed I'm pretty sure it's the only place you can get booze on this end of campus! read more

Very baaaaad. I had a shake and a sweet potato there and it caused me a non stop stomachache right away that lasted for 12 hours.

My personal favorite is their Strawberry Milkshake!! Make sure you get extra strawberries!! Plenty of strawberry ice cream blended with a little bit of milk and more strawberries. As for food, I would go for the Ultimate Spicy Crunch! Just the perfect amount of spice that it isn't too hot. I wouldn't say I really like spicy foods or can take it well... But when it comes to this one it isn't too over the top that I can enjoy it without having a runny nose or streaming tears. Definitely upgrade to Yam Fries! Their chipotle dip is the best and is a must try. read more

I went here with some friends thinking we were going to be having some good burgers and milkshakes, like we did in the past at white spot/triple O's, but we were heavily disappointed. The food quality was so poor here that we couldn't even finish it; the milkshakes were far too sweet and they were too liquidy, and the burgers were just plain awful. I won't review the actual food for Triple-O's, it's pretty standard for a slightly-better-than-McDonalds burger joint. Triple-O's is priced by the owner of the franchise, in this case UBC Food Services. As such, the prices are way too high. There's always a long line here for some reason. They do serve alcohol here, and the service is okay. You can watch the game here too. Most people I know only go here because it's close to the Henry Angus building, and the alternative, Sauder Exchange Cafe, is probably the worst place you can go on campus. read more

Triple O's has got some tasty fast food burgers that don't feel like they're fast food. Location is essential as its one of the only decent places nearby on campus to get a 'full' meal. Servings are good sizes and the drinks are bottomless (or at least they don't stop you)! read more

I waited 15 minutes for an original burger yesterday, ON the day where those burgers are sold most- Tuesday! You'd think they would be better prepared; there were 2 cashiers, and a few people working in the back. Cashiers are often rude; it's rare for me to get a smile when I approach to order. read more
