During the conversation, he became extremely argumentative and disrespectful. At one point, he told me to "go back where I came from," and repeatedly cursed at me. His behavior was threatening and completely unacceptable. I was shocked that a business could operate with this level of conduct. I intend to report this matter to the appropriate regulatory authorities.

After cleaning up the leak, I restarted it the next day and had a smaller oil leak. When I called Jared Katz (owner), he told me I had to get my generator (358 pounds!) to a Kohler repair center. When I pushed back that it's pretty obvious that I can't move this thing, he said he would pay for the pickup and delivery. After I found the name of a Kohler dealer willing to pick it up (that wasn't easy), I emailed and left Jared a voicemail, so I could arrange for this to be paid. No return call, nor a reply to my email. In short, this company doesn't care. If you are not local to his shop and are thinking about buying a larger generator, beware that you are on your own if you purchase one and have a problem.

A family owned business that you can trust. After my husband…read morereceived a suspiciously high quote from another well known company I came across E.H. Haines. My husband contacted them and the owner of the company came to inspect and give a quote for the installation of an outlet to plug in an electric car charger. The quote was more than 50% less than what the other company quoted and he said they could do the job the next day. On the day of service, two workers arrived and the first thing they did was put booties on to protect the floors. They were so efficient, and explained everything they were doing in advance. In the process of preparing to install the new outlet they found an error the previous electricians did and fixed the problem at no extra cost. The job was completed quickly and they even cleaned up the work area before leaving. They were also kind enough to wait about 15 minutes for my husband to get home from work so he could test out the charger and make sure everything was working correctly. If you are in need of an electrician and want the job done right then do not hesitate to contact E.H. Haines for a professional and cost effective job. You will not be disappointed!

I was fine with paying for the work but I wasn't told upon making the appointment that there would be $79 fee for coming to the house. Typically, a charge is made for a visit if you don't hire the company to do the work. I called and spoke to someone from the company who said it would be "waived this time" as I hadn't been told that initially. Interestingly, I realized later that the website says they give free estimates. So they give a free estimate but charge for a visit? Does not make any sense to me. The electrician that did the job was professional, prompt and neat. I was happy with the work done.
