This place is gross. At least it's not that expensive. Try dragon chef in roslindaleit's probably the best Chinese food I ever tasted I recommend dragon chef read more

The worst customer service ever. I ordered my food online and was given a pick up time of 6:45pm. I get there 15 minutes late and still had to wait an additional 45 minutes just to receive my food. You get to the counter and they act like you don't exist. Only giving them the two stars for the okay food. Other than that, shitty service. read more

I'd give them more if I could! I got their crab rangoons today and they were cooked right to order and even tasted better than usual (I've gone here multiple times before) I've never ordered on my own but the people here were kind to me and I felt welcomed. The sesame chicken was also great. I'm going to continue going because this is probably one of my favorite places and it's really close to my house read more

Has to be the best tasting chinese food in the roslindale village area. the only reason why i gave it three stars is that the food is a bit pricey, everytime I call for delivery the guy never seems to hear me very well and the delivery guy was smoking a cigarette while delivering my food (like i must of been interrupting his smoke break). other then that, its a good place to eat. read more

The food here is ok. Nothing to rant and rave about. The only reason I'm leaving a review is to complain about their customer service. It sucks. They seem like it's a pain to do business with people. read more

Triple Eatery is what it is- neighborhood take-out Chinese food. No pretension to anything else. So, 4 stars for fresh, fast, food favorites that taste terrific, friendly staff and convenient delivery service. read more

I've walked/driven by this place for 4 years, and never really considered it a viable option. It looks like nothing special from the outside, and, it turns out, looks like nothing special from the inside. However, after finally trying it, I am happy to report that, as a takeout place, it is really solid. They were super friendly, fast and most importantly, the food was delicious. It's Chinese/American takeout -- who are we kidding on the health front? But it was not overly greasy by any means and everything I ordered was tasty. It's the kind of place I want to support -- local, friendly and economical. So happy I finally took a chance and stopped by. read more

very tasty, awesome veggie fried rice and veggie egg rolls. had other items and they were pretty good. 4 stars not 5 because the food has been tasty as expected about 85% of the time, not 100%. I ordered once last year and didn't really eat it. Wish I could remember what that one snafu item was. anywhoo: most likely you'll get a yummy, tasty, quick, unhealthily-delicious meal. read more

Food is usually good. The customer service not so much. Once I was offered a $2 discount on my next order when they gave me the wrong food. Recently they messed up my order that I ordered in person and picked up. When I called back and I was told that it was what I ordered. I told him that I would bring it back untouched. He argued with me that I had ordered that. He said he would replace but give me no other compensation for my time and gas. Terrible customer service. It was of no benefit to me to waste time, gas and money. I threw the food away because it contained an item I do not eat. I am so done with them. read more

The guy that delivered my food was very polite. He had a big silver chain on. I think i need a new job. lol. ONLY take out or delivery. Not the classiest place to eat the tire around the pole outside an the lack of nice sitting area's, i mean if u like to see old guys work on car, its a view. But what matters is the food. I would not recommend anything with shrimp in it. the shrimp back i think its called is not taken out. u can still see brown stuff. but other than that the good is on a scale 1- 10. solid 7 1/2 an that's the best in Hyde Park and in Roslindale JP an Roxbury. Thats from about 6 diff ones i eat from. Imperial kitchen is horrible.. Lo Ming was some wtf. (my coworkers also hate it also) read more

I didn't really like this place. You enter and the employees are wearing winter coats, ITS FREEZING!!! Other than the fact the I could've left with pneumonia, I didn't like the food. Based on the reviews and referrals, I expected, I think, a bit too much from it. I love "chinese" food BUT i'd never go there to eat it again. Thinking about it, makes me wanna throw up. They have delivery, as far as sitting down to eat, I wouldn't recommend because of the ambiance and not to mention, you'd leave with frost bites read more

I found this place on seamlessweb.com and very glad that I did. I've tried their Szechuan dumplings, a couple of their chef's specials, the fried shrimp, home style bean curd, and the hot and sour soup. The only thing I would not order again is the fried shrimp because the breading is a little too heavy for my taste. The other stuff rocks, especially the chef's specials and the home style tofu. The portions are big enough to last for more than 2 meals if you have a bit of rice with your meals. Try the Happy Family chef's special if you're a carnivore because it has everything in it - beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp with veggies. This place is so good that I don't mind paying a few extra bucks for delivery and tip (instead of going to the Chinese place near my house)! Here's a link to my blog for some pictures of the food and a more in-depth review: http://bostoncheapeats.blogspot.com/2011/02/triple-eatery-jamaica-plain.html read more

Great greasy Chinese food! At a very low price! Place def need a makeover and to clean their rest room!

I really love triple eatery. They give so much food and it's always a take out meal me and my friends look forward to. Their rice is delicious, just awesome. read more

We've gotten delivery twice. Once they took more than 90 minutes, and the other time they forgot an item and would not come back and deliver it. Food is okay American Chinese takeaway. I'd try others first. read more

It's a hit or miss with this place. On a good day there food can be easily compared to New York City's Chinese Food (which is the best). Triple Eatery's chicken wings are an exact replica of how chicken wings at a Chinese food establishment should be cooked (with flour). The fried rice is almost as yellow as I would like it but hey it beats other places that get soy sauce happy and make their fried rice a terrible dark brown color. Great portions; I always go with the combination plate consisting of pork fried rice, beef and broccoli and two chicken wings. Hate their location but honestly great food because it reminds me of home(New York City) on a good day. read more

The food here is so unhealthy for you but it is soooo good. Plus the portions are huge. I recommend the General Gao's. Some of the best I have had in Boston. So why the 3 stars? Horrible service. I will call ahead and still need to wait a half hour in the restereaunt to get my food. Rule of thumb, bigger the order the longer you wait. read more

Delivery took more than an hour and i live 10 minutes away max if i had a car i should have went there myself smh worst service ever and when it finally came after i had ordered something else the food was cold. Giving one star is too generous read more

The way this place treats their customers is absolutely horrendous. First off, the lady on the phone is hard to understand because of her broken English. She screams at you if you ask her to repeat what she has said and if you don't understand her the second time she will either explode on you or simply hang up the call. So here's a piece of advice: if you are craving for Chinese food and this is the only Chinese place near you, order online via BeyondMenu so that you can communicate better without losing your hearing over the phone. Next, the driver. He can't find you no matter where you are and is never on time. If you happen to be in a location where there is a big parking lot, he will call you to come over to his car and have you pick up your food. Never confuse him about where you are on your first order because next time there will be an additional charge if he felt like it took him longer to find your house than the rest. They will give you an excuse that your house is more than three miles away from them even though they did not say that the first time you ordered from them. Expect your order to be delivered extra twenty minutes late. The food is decent, despite the poor customer service. read more

I ordered from here, bit into a spoonful of my food and found a hair in my food. I called to tell them and see if I could get a refund of my money and they were belligerent. They told me I had to bring in proof of the hair in my food even after I explained repeatedly that I had thrown the food away. They then proceeded to hang up on me. I do not recommend anyone eat here !! read more

I only ate here once. I think this place is intended to just be takeout though there is one small table if you want to eat in a hurry. It was pretty cheap which is always good and the food was defenitely passable (though very greasy). Crab rangoon were like a B to B-, peking ravioli were very tasty! read more

After opening a box of shrimp fried rice purchased from Triple Eatery, I discovered a long black hair intertwined between the rice and the shrimp. Disgusting!! Further, they didn't even have the business sense to offer me a refund. Needless to say, I will never ever eat there again. read more

The worst Chinese takeout I have EVER had. Gloppy sweet sauces, micro-sized shrimp, and a lovely case of food poisoning to boot. Stay away. read more

Just because we are talking only through the phone doesn't mean they can be mean and mad to their customers. Worst customer service ever.... I don't usually complaint about customer service, especially restaurants (just because I used to work as a server and a hostess) But the lady who picked up the phone was keep saying "What" whenever she didn't understand what I said which is whatever. But she suddenly cut me off in the middle of what I was saying and says "hold on hold on I'm busy". It was right after she asked me what I just said to her. I do like their food but the way they talk to the customer through the phone was never satisfying. Is it because we are not speaking to each other face to face? I don't think I'm going to order deliveries from here anymore. read more

One of the best chinese food spots in the Roslindale area. Management must have changed over the last year or so. Friendly staff when coming in to order. Food is always great and has been for years. There's always a spot in the parking lot available. I just wish it wasn't so cold in there. Even the employees are wearing winter coats most of the year! There are only one or two tables there so definitely not a place to sit and eat-Take out or delivery only. read more

The Food is really good here - I think they have the best Egg Rolls in all of MA - I am a egg roll afcionado and these are the best - lots of good taste fried perfectly- There French Frys are also good which is rare in chinesse joints- Great General Gaus chicken also there fried chicken wings are delicious - baby shrimp appetizer is awesome- good spot read more

I ordered food and It never came. About an hour after ordering I called and they said they "lost the driver, and they sent a new one". An hour after that I called again and they said It should be there soon. After 2 hours, It never came. I missed my dinner break at work. I called to ask for my money back and the guy said that I either got my food or my money, but not both. We order from Here to this location often, and this is not how you treat any loyal customer. read more

Food was ok. Delivery took almost 2 hours and the paper bag was all wet because food spilled.

Food is actually good . This is the only place I have my Chinese takeout delivery from . Yes, they may take a while with food, but they're probably really busy. So I'm considerate with that. The only thing that when I have ordered it on foodler, for some reason they always forget my soda. Other than that the food is really satisfying . read more

I love this place. They do have some flaws and it all has to do with the person who answers their phone. They are extremely rude. I asked the lady if she got my address down right and she replied to me saying "duh!" Like what? Other than that, their food is amazing I love their sesame chicken, pork fried rice, & boneless spare ribs combo, it feels me up. I actually never really finish it. That's how much they stuff you plate. Overall they are good they just need to train the person on the phones! read more

worst service ever had!!! i called and was put on hold for over 5 minutes. and then when they finally got the food to me the driver was very aggressive due to the fact i didn't have correct change of $15.05 ... i thought he should of had change if anybody and he told me to never order from "his" restaurant again and he tried to snatch the money out of my hand .......very unprofessional and the food was cold will never order from them again read more

For takeout or delivery Chinese food, this place is great. No MSG, for starters, and consistently savory food (as in, for the past 12 years they're the only takeout Chinese I'll get and have never been disappointed). The prices are good -- not great, but not over the top, either -- and they're always fast on the turnaround. read more

pretty much your standard american chinese place - don't go in expecting blow-your-mind (or healthy) food - but it's slightly above average for what it is. The interior is, um... sparse. people at the counter are friendly. The "lunch special" is enough food to feed a small army. they do all the typical stuff pretty well. They often have Lobster specials - but I haven't been tempted to try it. Ingredients seem to be fresh. read more

I'm not much of a chef so I mostly get take-out. I gave this restaurant a try and the food came out pretty bad. I wasn't expecting much either, but it was still such a big disappointment. I gave it a second chance and ended up with a bad stomach ache. read more

So, I've lived in Roslindale for years but never ate here. It looked run down and I didn't even think it was open. One day at work a colleague invited me to lunch in her room. It was chinese food and it was good. She told me where she got it from and I was shocked when she said Triple Eatery. She ordered from there a few more times and still it was good. So, I took a chance and ordered from there myself a few times. Well, one day I went in to place an order and while I was there, one of the cooks was taking a batch of chicken wings out of the fryer and placing them into a bin. One wing fell on the floor and without hesitation, he picked it up and put it in the bin with the others. I stared at him like, "really?" He looked at me and didn't even try to play it off. He kept looking at me and I kept looking at him. That was the last time I ever ordered food from that place. If he could do that while I was there looking right at him, imagine what he does when no one is looking. I'm all set with that place. For sure what he did was a health hazard. We take chances all the time when we eat out but that was just too much for me. read more
