I showed him the Blink phone number for pharmacies and he was able to call and correct the issue in short time. I was also on the phone with Blink customer service and they were telling me they couldn't help me. Thankfully the pharmacist sorted it out in a few minutes so I didn't have to go wait in a long line elsewhere. While I waited, a couple other customers came in and picked up their prescriptions - they both seemed to know the pharmacist. I got my prescriptions filled quickly, much faster than the big stores normally get it done. Even with the little problem at first, it was still quicker than waiting in line at a big store. The pharmacist was very nice and helpful. He also gave me a pretty 2020 calendar and pens. Hardly anyone gives out calendars anymore and I must say this was a nice little surprise. I'm sure younger folks won't appreciate that but I do. Even though scheduling is digital these days, a physical calendar next to my desk is easier to glance at for reference, especially when I'm on the phone. Haha I will be back to this pharmacy.

Universal Mobility received most of the items but said they would not schedule delivery until the final item arrived. The biggest problem has been the complete lack of communication. I have called repeatedly, left multiple messages, and almost never receive an answer or a return call. Last month, I finally reached someone who blamed the issue on problems with their phone system and said it was being fixed. A month later, nothing has improved. The VA has now confirmed that Universal Mobility has all of my items and is supposed to contact me to arrange delivery. Interestingly, the VA can reach them at the same phone number without difficulty, but my calls continue to go unanswered and my messages are ignored. This equipment was ordered because it is medically necessary. Making a disabled veteran wait months while refusing to communicate is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company based on the delays, poor customer service, and lack of accountability.

ANITA is rude, unprofessional, loud talking a senior citizen in pain, everything that an employee dealing with people's pain, and discomfort should NOT BE! All this, because ANITA stated authorization was pending, and it wasn't! Here, I believe you can tell the staff care about its residents as if they were family. There have been people who have worked here for years, who know people by name, and treat people as humans, not another nameless face. Literally, I would just be naming every single therapist from physical and occupational therapy department to toot everyone's horn, and then suddenly this review would be too long lol. Activities with Batch and Rachel are excellent in engaging the residents. They are very happy and cheerful, and create activities that both residents and staff can engage in and build camaraderie. Many thanks to Julie for creating and maintaining a warm, active, and loving home for people who need short term care or extended care for longer stays. Shoutout to the nursing staff, from nurses to CNAs. My last night with everyone, I remember being upset about a situation and talking it out with staff and the excellent feeling of sisterhood and love that just rolled out. I'm going to miss those sleepless nights where I got to eat fruit sitting outside and talking with everyone who sat outside with me. Much love and positivity to everyone at College Park. My mother was transferred from Valley Hospital to College Park in late March of 2024. I went from the hospital to Valley and observed that the place was filthy! Being that mom only had Medicare we had no choice of where she would be taken for recovery. The very first night of her stay they found my mother on the floor and no one on staff knew how long she had been there!!!! She was taken back to the Hospital as she was going in and out of consciousness. She was exposed to covid there! That fall contributed to her passing as she got an infection because the feeding tube that was surgically inserted in stomach through her abdomen was partially dislodged and infected the tissue around the opening. My mother passed about two weeks later! Don't let the photos from 7 to 8 years old of this place fool you. It looks nothing like them!
